I love the lyrics of the song.

From what I had read, the only good thing about the movie Roy was the above song.

It's actually funny that the worst of the movies have the best of the songs.

Even Zero movie was so bad, I could not even watch few minutes of it. But the song "Jab tak jahan mein tera naam hain " is such a beautiful number.

Those days Falguni Pathak's songs were a big craze. I used to listen to her songs so much.

Now I am in a dilemma whether to imagine Ayesha or Sonali as Kirti. 😆

We used to be crazy about her songs at our place. So I remember at my Nani ghar they had the song CD and we had gone so berserk about it. Play, play we would pester our youngest Mama because other Mamas were too strict. The youngest Mama was closer to us in age so he would get why we were so interested in the songs. He would always tease us, sab samajh aa raha hai kis liye baar bar dekha ja raha hai...

The feelings it evoked in our young hearts...that is what romance meant for us at that time. We lived vicariously through those songs.

In return for the songs, he would make us do all his work. I remember when electricity would go out, we would sit and fan him. There were other incentives as well. Like he would take us to places - we would sit and watch men climbing tall palm trees; would treat us with orange hard candies. Share with us enticing marbles he used to collect in empty coconut oil bottles. We used to first clean all those marbles in detergent water and when they were shiny, would go and play.

Good old days. No mobile phones, no distraction. Just plain natural stuff.

True Jab Tak Jahan is a beautiful piece. And so is Dhadhak's title song. I don't why both these songs somehow sound similar to my ears.
