I feel like I didn't properly explain what I meant regarding marriage. While I agree that one shouldn't stay in a marriage that isn't making them or their partner happy(the whole point of TMW 😉), the fact that they decided on the marriage makes it imperative for them to at least try to make the marriage work. If it doesn't later on, then it's a no-brainer, they should separate and go ahead with their lives. But marriage shouldn't have been treated as a solution to Kirti's Dadi issues. Marry to make dadi happy and then get a divorce. Arey, you are thinking about your dadi, what about Mayank's parents, and Radha? They have to lose another DIL and Chachi? They shouldn't have been involved in this fiasco, right? I just feel so bad for everyone else involved because of the stupidity of Kirti and Mayank.

Especially when both Mayank and Kirti know that Ojhas have a lot of expectations from their second son's wife given the heartbreak they suffered at the hands of their first son's wife.

Having said all this, I don't think she should stay in the marriage if its going to make her miserable. But she should try to at least give the marriage a go. That's all I am saying.

But the fact that Mayank agreed makes me think that he has built some kind of expectation from Kiriti regarding her feelings for him.

For now Kirti will not say quits.

She married for Dadi's sake right. Karuna is alive and everyone hopes she would come out of coma soon. So assuming Karuna lives, Kirti will stick to the marriage.

Also does Mayank have feelings for her is the biggest question. If yes and he married due to that reason, then what would Kirti do?

Personally I feel Kirti should give this marriage a chance. Whatever the reasons were, she made a commitment. She should at least put some effort into it.

Unless both Kirti and Mayank don't want this marriage to work, then staying in it is useless.

And Urmi is yet to make her grand entry into her kids lives. Wonder when that will happen.

I get what you both are saying. If Kirti got married to honor Dadi's last wish (assuming the worst), I don't think she plans to end it no matter what the situation with Dadi is. When she had proposed marriage to Mayank, she said he can lead his life whichever way he wants without her interference. But she never said anything about an expiry date or this being a fake marriage. It is very much real for her. Probably a loveless one, but real. I don't think she gave much thought to the logistics though. In the future, if Mayank wants an out, it will be difficult for him to get one too. He is stuck in this marriage because of everything Sandy mentioned - Ojhas & their past. I am curious to know why he agreed in the first place. Was it because he couldn't say no to Kirti? Is it possible Nishit has something to do with his decision? Nishit did not shake hands with him when he came to drop Kirti, so maybe not.

Sana is weird..dating two brothers periodically 🙄 Mithila..I am not even sure.is his gf. Mystery by design or he is a player like Hardiik implied.

I agree Sana is weird. Remember when Kirti started dating that Ujwal guy (I got his name right), Tejas was dating Sana. Later don't know when Sana was with Nishit and according to Prasanna, Nishit and Sana were engaged or were in love.

Later she hooked up with Tejas again and got engaged. On Diwali night, she was clinging on to Nishit.

It just feels ewww.

Long long ago, I used to watch this English daily soap called "The Bold and the Beautiful" for couple of months. This Tejas-Sana-Nishit saga reminded me of that story where the brothers fall for the same girl at different times and marry them, later divorce them.😆

why would she do that??? 😭😭😭 well I guess now the name of the FF makes sense. Kirti really didn’t think through when she was proposing that ruse with Mayank and now she got it for real.

Ewwww, urmi, ahliya whatever she is, the only word that kept coming back to me as I read the part is disgusting. This woman is vile and very low- talking like that about her daughter.
her bf is better person. Although it seems he might be attracted to kirti but I think he genuinely cares for her. Who knows, perhaps I’m wrong

Loved reading the discussion here. I have two chapters ready but I am not posting them because I am aiming at writing more chapters and posting all of it together. Give me some more time, please and I will post the subsequent chapters. Maybe the entire Part Two together.

Voh, I used to read one, now 2?3? stories here.. I don't get a lot of time. Actually, that's a lie.. I do, but I'm not supposed to read fiction then 😒

In this case, my father takes after Kirti's dad. If he finds me here, he'd probably pick up one of my NON FICTION books and ask me 20 questions! Or maybe he'll want to read what I find so interesting.. I can't say which is worse 🤔

Anyway, I digress. So, your story is my guilty pleasure.. I'm averse to all social media. I'm not in constant touch with friends. Here too, I never expected anyone to read what I commented. To me, it was like talking aloud to myself 😆 You'd see my comments aren't very mature or thoughtful.. I started writing to just let it out!

Wow. We are similar in some ways. My whole purpose in writing the story and sharing it here is for some human interaction. Lol. I wasn't expecting much readership but then you people came and I keep updating to be able to read the comments and interact with people here.

Glad to know it isn't tedious. I just thought maybe you'd be tired of writing comments for so many chapters so wanted to make you feel comfortable and also so that you could be on the same page as others. I just think a lot. What to say!

I watched a few...

This one I really enjoyed despite the historical setting and the suspension of belief. It was very highly rated which is why I checked out the drama in the first place. I really liked the heroine's character in this. Of course, I did skip quite a few historical events. I thought the progression of the relationship between the hero and heroine was quite good and more importantly, the hero didn't seem like an MCP despite the historical setting.

Then I watched this one. To be honest, I didn't much care for this one and the ending frustrated me to no end.

I also watched the revenge story you suggested. Fah meh Tawan. Can't really say I cared much for this one. The heroine was one blah character and the ending was a complete washout. No payback at all but the hero wasn't bad at all. The only reason you could keep watching this one, to be honest.
