The day Kirti was bit by the rabbit, Nishit and Mithila took her to the hospital. First they dropped Mithila off at her home. Before getting down from the Car, she kissed Nishit on his lips.

If she was not his GF, I don't know why she would do that. Kirti even noticed lipstick mark on his lips.

So really don't know what to make of Nishit and Mithila's relationship.

I tend not to pick obvious cues...so maybe wrong. To me just because Mithila knows the code to his apartment does not imply she is his gf. He left to spent time with.his sister and she still stayed back and watched TV. Just the way he interacts with her,talks to her..could be board games pal.😊

The reason I asked if Radha was adopted by Mayank is why is Radha Kirti responsibility because she married him.? Or because her dadi mistreats her

Radha is not Kirti's responsibility!! But to the motherless girl, she is one of the few(probably the only one) that is a mother figure. Now that Kiriti is married to her chachu, she has an added bond. Sometimes, these bonds make or break a child's life.

Yes, that too!! To the world(even if it is not true) Mithila was Nishit's girlfriend. If he was really interested in Kirti, I feel he would have let her know that he wasn't in a relationship with anyone.

And the day these 2 brother sister duo went on a picnic, Mithila video called Nishit and he spoke to her all blushing etc.

For any outsider, it would look like they are a couple. Kirti did notice it and later turned cold towards Nishit

Anyway just the way the marriage happened..reminds me of old bollywood movies. Women will make it work, fall in love and live happily ever after.

Thank you, Manu for the wonderful comments. Through your comments I am living through the story all over again.

Also, we are 50 chapters in. If at any point you find it tedious and exhausting - it is a humungous task - to comment for every chapter, you can simply club all of what you liked and not, in one or two comments. I won't mind. But if you're okay commenting for each chapter. I don't mind that either.

Just don't feel pressurised or bound that you have to. 🤗

My room's window is not very far from our neighbour's washroom window.. at certain times, particularly around 4 AM, he makes these weird coughing noises. Aise lagta hai maano aatma ka Parmatma se milan ho raha ho!! 😲

I've taken to ensure I'm asleep or away at those times.. really helped me set my sleep schedule better! I would've taken ANY drama over THOSE sounds

Voh, I used to read one, now 2?3? stories here.. I don't get a lot of time. Actually, that's a lie.. I do, but I'm not supposed to read fiction then 😒

In this case, my father takes after Kirti's dad. If he finds me here, he'd probably pick up one of my NON FICTION books and ask me 20 questions! Or maybe he'll want to read what I find so interesting.. I can't say which is worse 🤔

Anyway, I digress. So, your story is my guilty pleasure.. I'm averse to all social media. I'm not in constant touch with friends. Here too, I never expected anyone to read what I commented. To me, it was like talking aloud to myself 😆 You'd see my comments aren't very mature or thoughtful.. I started writing to just let it out!

I feel happy that any of you'd care to read or reply to me.. this isn't tedious or under pressure! Compared to what you guys have ongoing, this is nothing.. ☺️

My doom is approaching by end of next week. I'll be a football being kicked around starting then... until then, I'm planning to read as much as I can! And if it's not a bother, comment when I can?

Nah...will get too busy with their own lives. Marriage was a decision they both took. It makes sense for them to at least try to make it work. An affair involves only the people involved while a marriage(at least in India) involves the families too. Its easy to say, hey its our lives, not anyone's business but it doesn't work that way. That's an extremely selfish way of looking at life. To be honest, at this point in the story, I don't even feel Kirti or Nishit's feelings for each other are strong enough for me to root for them to be together. But, GN, please note, I want at least one heart-to-heart conversation between them!!

Marriages are between two people. Even the Indian one where family is part of it. Let us agree to disagree. 😊.

Anyway this was not about rooting for Nishit and Kirti. By design every incident of his can be interpreted in two ways. It was for her.

I am with Shradha on this one. I don't think Mithila is Nishit's GF. At least now. They may have dated in the past. "Not on the lips...close to it", yes I remember that too 😁

About the video call, I assumed he was blushing because she was probably teasing him about Kirti. He was away from the 3 of them while he was talking to Mithila. I have a feeling, Mithila is the only one who knows about Nishit's secret.

To Sandy's point, he should have cleared it up with Kirti, if he was interested in her. My hunch is, he wasn't sure about his feelings himself until Diwali, so he didn't try to explain. He let her assume whatever she wanted to. Probably even liked to see her getting jealous. I found Nishit's body language and actions very buddy-like when interacting with Mithila. Plus he likes tall girls, with long hair. Mithila is short and has wavy hair. Just saying 😆

About the Radha angle too, it would be sad if Radha gets overly attached to Kirti and then later they have to separate. But I don't think Kirti & Mayank should stay in the marriage only for social commitments/obligations. I am also of the opinion that marriage is essentially between two people; and maybe later the kids. Family & friends are the extended circle. Everything else is secondary. Kirti has committed her first mistake by marrying because of Dadi. I don't think she should commit another by staying in it for others.
