I’m not sure why Satyen is insisting Viveka go to the wedding. Ranaav and Viveka should make the call. He can suggest and leave it as such.

is he feeling bad that he armed twisted the Mathurs into a rushed alliance and made Vivrka miss the wedding.

Ranaav will be super pissed if she leaves on the third day of wedding.

Send them together somewhere Nisha. And can it pls happen tonight

Look at Raanav go. Adult temper tantrums or should I say pudhu mappilai murukku😆. He's basically wanting to have the cake and eat it too. Satyen is telling him ,"listen to me son, I'm far more experienced, you are new to the game, you can't have the cake and eat it too"🤣

P.s Lower the temperature is the catch phrase. It's the buzzword acc to thatha. Wait ! Raanav is not an amreekan though! So he's exempt I guess 😎😉

“Hi! Rajeev”

“Hes waiting he has already asked me twice” Rajeev laughed

“I appeared by magic” she smiled

“That’s not true” Raanav corrected her

Viveka chuckled and kept walking

Raanav is pissed off that she is joking with Rajeev and not him! 😆

His frustration is fun to read, though I feel bechara for him.

A friend (kizh72) suggested that I should read this. I warily tried the first two chapters then last one week or so your story has been my steady companion when I am on treadmill. You brought smiles, laughter ( dadi convo with Raanav literally made me almost fall of the mill 😋). The marathon read because I was itching to comment /appreciate your writing. 😍 I am assuming I have read more than 120 chapters so this comment will be looong.

It is iconic P&P in a modern 21st century Indian setting ? Sure but all your characters are distinct not the typical caricatures. Viveka is nerdy intelligent thinker but hey she changes her glasses and watch strap everyday to compliment her sarees. A grown up woman who does not hestitate to tell the man that she finds him sexually attractive.

It is P&P inspired and my you easily transformed the patronizing, condescending, full of himself glib lawyer not only to a male model for designer shirts but a upright decent human being. 😋 Yes he is love with the economist and has been under the influence of his superficial mother. But loves his pimpled ,plump sister has never made her conscious of it😍

On the other hand the social policy Ph.d guy has turned out to be an Indian version of Anthony Weiner. 😂 .

My favorites are the two older men. I love how you have written the relationship between Viv and Akash. The bond is strong and goes beyond

arguing and discussing economic policies. There is comfort, trust and openness in the relationship. She shared about Abhishek with her dad first and not her mom.

Satyen is not just playing cupid. Yes he thinks highly of Viv but is also aware that his own son is in love with her. Look forward to what transpires next- meaning how he manages Smrita so the young leads can make their fragile relationship work.

Your characters are not perfect just like all of us making it believable. Anubha is a educated, independent, accomplished working mom. She has her insecurities and is not flawless. In a ideal situation (given the issues she has faced with her mil and works herself) she should not have aired her concerns about the marriage the way she did plus that Raanav will surely cheat on Viv but she is human and a parent.

Anyway I hope this is enough to tell you the excitement to read more is not "Irrational Exuberance" 😍.Thank you for writing everyday and sharing. This is a beautiful piece of writing Nisha

Raanav's frustration at Viveka's ignorance is cute and irritating in equal proportion. Her comment about their non-traditional marriage is irking him the most. But dude! You brought it upon yourself by getting angry on her (and dragging it more than necessary) for an honest mistake. He is guilty, but not ready to apologize. Good thing he is married to Viveka and not some "Lekha". Vi is hurt, but she doesn't hold a grudge. Nor is she expecting that apology which he is finding so difficult to shell out. With Satyen showing signs of recovery, Raanav too, is getting back in the groove. But this time he will have to work harder. Inspite of knowing the marriage could have an expiry date, Viveka agreed to it, keeping their differences aside. He needs to acknowledge & appreciate this fact. He owes her and owes her big.

Raanav could take some lessons from his Dad in understanding Vi. Even without her saying anything, Satyen probably realized she is missing her family and would prefer a change of scenery with Raanav gone. He is already guilty of manipulating her to marry Raanav. She shouldn't have to sacrifice her family time as well.

I like how Viveka is able to look at people objectively. She recognizes & respects Smrita's love for Satyen, despite Smrita's hostility towards her. Similarly she chided Kalyani for being rude to Lekha, even though she has been giving her (Vi) a cold shoulder. It may seem like a trivial thing, but not many are able to keep their personal experiences aside when judging a person. I would only fault Viveka for being biased towards Naina.

So Vi is going to Bangkok, huh? It was super sweet of Satyen to force her to go. She wouldn't have gone otherwise. Smrita would be happy to know she will be away from her precious son for few days (unless that son decides to join her later). But I won't put it past this woman to make it an issue that the DIL is enjoying at a wedding when her FIL is in ICU.

I hope Kalyani shares the live stream link with Raanav. It will be sadistically fun to watch Raanav see what he is missing...haath ko aaya muh na laga 😆

Satyen is trying his best to make things easier for the two and give them time together. He wants Viveka to go and enjoy the wedding and show off to Raanav what he is missing.

Its probably new for Raanav to feel in the wrong. He has spent his life as a rich hot dude with people fawning over him. Viveka is not one to hold a grudge and bitterness, but she is honest and confident enough to make her position clear. She is no doormat. Raanav will have to learn to navigate this new scope.
