URMILA- oh god...

Yelled Urmila when the wheat flour got stuck to her fingers as she tried to make a dough.

URMILA- I will never be able to make it a perfect one..

Said Urmila looking frustrated. Shruti was trying to open the lid of red chilli powder with one hand. It got open with a jerk making some powder fall in her eyes.

SHRUTI- ouch... Dii...

She cried in pain. The bottle falls from her hand on ground making the powder fall on ground.

URMILA- are what happened.?

Urmila runs towards her and tried to touch her eyes..

SHRUTI- dii.. what you are doing? Aahhh...

The flour particles which were present at urmila's fingers affected shruti's eyes.

URMILA- sorry sorry...

Manvi who was peeling vegetables nods at them in disbelief..

MANVI- kya kar rahi ho tum dono..??

She went near them. She takes the napkin and wipes shruti's eyes.

MANVI- you first wash your hands.

Instructed Manvi to Urmila. She nods at follows her while Manvi rubs shruti's eyes with napkin.

MANVI- is it better now?

SHRUTI- haa...

Said Shruti still not able to open her eyes completely.

URMILA- ye sab mujhse nahi hone wala.. I don't understand why maa and chachi are behind us..

Said Urmila in frustration. Manvi nods in disbelief..

MANVI- you have to do it with patience.. remember?? Siya dii has told us that while cooking we need a lot of patience..

Said Manvi while urmila pout at her.

URMILA- look who is talking about patience??

She said folding her hands. Manvi looks angry at her..

MANVI- atleast I've learnt how to make a dough.. I've prepared parathas for Bharat.. yad he na?

Said Manvi teasing urmila. Urmila looks shocked at her.

URMILA- half of the paratha was prepared by siya dii..you only made that ajib sa shape wala paratha.. don't know which shape it was..

Said urmila taunting. Shruti was still busy rubbing her eyes.

SHRUTI- dii..

Manvi and Urmila looks at her.

MANVI- you keep quiet and continue your work..

Manvi scolds Shruti and turns around to face Urmila again..

MANVI- urmi.. you don't forget I'm your elder sister...you......

SUNAINA- what is happening here?

The three girls looks at the direction where Sunaina and Chandra were standing. Both the ladies became shocked looking at the whole kitchen. Vegetable peels were spread everywhere, the flour and powder were spread on floor, lots of utensils were used making the kitchen look pathetic.

CHANDRA- oh god.. what is this..??

Said Chandra looking at everywhere. The girls looks down feeling sorry. Sunaina crossed her arms.

SUNAINA- we have told you to prepare dinner.. not to destroy the kitchen..

Scolded Sunaina to the girls. Urmila moves towards her mother.

URMILA- maa.. you are aware that we don't know how to cook.. then how you can ask us to prepare dinner?

SUNAINA- because I've tried n number of times to teach you all. But you all doesn't listen. Hence I've decided to give responsibility of preparing dinner to you all.. zimmedari ayegi tab apne aap sikh jaogi..

Said Sunaina almost scolding her. Urmila pout listening to her.

MANVI- but taiji.. dii used to tell us everything. She helps us too to prepare anything..

SHRUTI- correct.. and dii never scold us..

Said Shruti complaining. Sunaina nods her head in disbelief..

SUNAINA- I'm not your siya dii.. I know how to handle you three..

Manvi was about to say when Chandra interrupt..

CHANDRA- no more arguments...

The girls kept quiet being sad.

CHANDRA- didi is right.. if we both starts helping you then you'll never do anything.. you all stop fighting and continue your work..

The girls make faces when Chandra too scolded them.

SUNAINA- you all have one hour with you.. I want dinner to get prepared with whole kitchen to be cleaned..

Sunaina and Chandra leaves from there while the girls looks at each other..

SHRUTI- now what to do??

Manvi thinks something..

MANVI- call the savior now.. she'll instruct us on call..

Said Manvi to Urmila while she nods in agreement. They call Siya for the help...

Siya brought juice from kitchen. She offers first to Mandira who gave a sarcastic smile. She then offers it to Kranti.

KRANTI- thank you beta.

Siya sits beside kranti having her glass.

KRANTI- siya... Within a week we will finalize jewelry designs for wedding.. unhe banne me time lagta he na....

Said Kranti smiling while siya nods at her.

KRANTI- Ram ki shadi ki preparations to me kabse kar rahi thi.. but I've not done anything for these three..

Said Kranti feeling embarrassed while Siya giggle at her. Mandira nods in disbelief

MANDIRA- you have a habit kranti.. you think of others first, you think about your people later..

Said Mandira taunting Siya.

KRANTI- masi... It happened all of a sudden..

Said Kranti covering up the taunt.

KRANTI- aap hi batayiye.. were we thinking about lakshman and shatrughan's wedding?

Asked kranti indicating Mandira to keep quiet. Siya smile at them. Suddenly kranti's phone rang.

KRANTI- hello..

URMILA- hello.. maa...

Kranti smile hearing urmila's voice.

KRANTI- ha beta bolo..

URMILA- maa.. is siya dii with you? We are calling her since long but she isn't receiving her phone.

Kranti looks at Siya and smile.

KRANTI- wait a moment..

She passes her phone to Siya.

KRANTI- Urmila is there..

Siya smile and took the phone from her.

SIYA- hey urmi...

URMILA- we can't handle these two ladies..

Said Urmila complaining while siya looks startled..

SIYA- Urmila... Is this the way to talk about your mother.?

Siya scolded her lightly while Mandira looks at her.

URMILA- kya dii..?? Maa is aware that we don't know how to cook. Still she's asking us to prepare dinner..

Siya giggle at her. Kranti actions her asking what happened..

SIYA- khana banana to sikhna padega na..

Said siya looking at Kranti who gave a light laugh. Mandira watch them.

URMILA- kyu? Is it essential?

Asked urmila in a pout.

SIYA- urmi.. ek insan ko atleast itna khana banana ana chahiye jisse kabhi emergency me wo bhuka na reh sake..

Siya makes her understand. Kranti smile listening to her.

URMILA- ok ok.. whatever.. now all three of us wants your help..

Siya nods her head in disbelief.

SIYA- tell me..

URMILA- guide us how to prepare a descent dinner...

Urmila requested her for help while siya smile at her. She looks at Kranti.

SIYA- maa.. excuse me.. I will just come..

KRANTI- sure beta.. take your time..

Kranti allows Siya to take her phone. Siya excused herself and goes to the other side. Mandira looks at Kranti.

MANDIRA- those girls don't know how to cook?

Asked Mandira while Kranti smile at her.

KRANTI- nahi.. they are learning..

MANDIRA- ha to theek he na.. waise bhi.. Raghuvanshi bahu ko kya zarurat he ye sab sikhne ki..

Said Mandira taking their side while Kranti giggle at her.

KRANTI- you are impossible masi.. at the time of siya, you said she should know how to cook. And now, you are saying completely opposite? Height of hypocrisy..

Said Kranti in a disbelief while Mandira just nods at her. She looks at the direction of Siya who was talking on phone with the girls..

Sumitra was in her room while sleep was far away from her. She gets up and took her mobile phone and scroll through her social media. After a while she kept it aside and moves towards the window. She looks outside but found nothing interesting as it was almost midnight. She decided to check for others in the house. She goes in lakshman's room. The door was open and lakshman was on his bed talking on phone. Sumitra was about to knock when she witnessed him talking with urmila.

LAKSHMAN- you prepared it well na??.... Dekha meri bhabhi ne help ki....

Sumitra smile listening to him.

LAKSHMAN- oh come on... Aisa kuch nahi hone wala... After shadi also...

He laughs speaking on phone call. Sumitra decided to wait for his call to get over.

LAKSHMAN- acha?? You be aware of me.. I'll show you real side of Lakshman after marriage...

Said lakshman smirking. Sumitra smile at him and decided to give him alone time. She leaves from there.

SUMITRA- lakshman is busy... Mmm... Bharat ke room me jati hu...

She goes in Bharat's room but find it empty.

SUMITRA- are? Where's he?

She leaves the room and moves downstairs near kranti's room. There, Dashrath and Kranti was having a conversation with Bharat and Shatrughan. Kranti was massaging shatrughan's head while Bharat was sitting with Dashrath.

SHATRUGHAN- maa... It feels heaven..

Said Shatrughan experiencing relief through the massage. Sumitra smile at them standing at the door.

KRANTI- are you feeling better now?

Asked kranti getting tensed..

BHARAT- dekha papa? Maa only cares for her ladla..

Complaints Bharat while Dashrath laughs at them.

KRANTI- chup... Bechara Shatrughan.. kitna kam kar raha he aajkal..

Said Kranti in a pout.. Bharat nods his head in disbelief..

DASHRATH- he has to Kranti.. he na Shatrughan?

Asked Dashrath while Shatrughan nods in agreement. Sumitra watched them lovingly. She decided not to disturb their moment. She turns around to leave.

SUMITRA- everyone is busy..

She said in disbelief. He eyes falls on Siya who was sitting on dinning.

SUMITRA- are? What is Siya doing here?

She was about to go near her when she witnessed Ram coming near Siya.

RAM- I'm so sorry siya.. I got too late today..

Said Ram keeping his bag on chair and unbuttoning his blazer. Siya smile at him.

SIYA- it's ok. How was your day?

RAM- very hectic..

Said Ram nodding his head. Siya gave him a glass of water.

SIYA- and how was your dinner meeting?

Ram drank the water and kept the glass on table.

RAM- nice.. the investors are happy with this project..

Siya smile at him.

RAM- how was your day??

SIYA- bas kuch office ka kam, kuch ghar ka.. Manvi Urmila and Shruti had called me.. to instruct them for making dinner..

Ram looks at her in question while Siya smile at her sisters..

SIYA- maa and chachi are being too strict with them.. bechari..they were so frustrated..

Said siya in a disbelief. Ram laughs at this.

RAM- sab so gaye?

Siya nods her head in yes. Ram smirk at her and takes her in his arms. Siya looks startled..

SIYA- Ram..??

RAM- sshhuu... I'm so tired and I don't want to discuss anything... I just want to sleep..

Said Ram in a pout while siya giggle at him. He took her upstairs in their room. Sumitra watch them smiling.

SUMITRA- touch wood...

Said sumitra to herself looking at Ram and Siya being happy. At the next moment she became sad.

SUMITRA- everyone is busy with their own people. The one who is left alone is me...

Said sumitra smiling sadly. She nods her head in disbelief and moves towards her room...

Kranti was arranging dinning table for breakfast. Siya moves towards her.

SIYA- good morning maa..

Kranti smile at her.

KRANTI- good morning siya... Kal Ram theek se agaya tha na?

Asked kranti in a concern while siya nods in yes at her.

KRANTI- acha siya.. today workers are going to come.. we've to start the work of renovation na?

Said Kranti hinting Siya about the rooms of other three boys to get renovated.

SIYA- are ha.. ok maa.. once I complete my office work, I and choti maa will look after it.

Kranti nods her head smiling. Suddenly she thinks about sumitra..

KRANTI- are.. isse yad aya.. where is sumitra?

Asked kranti looking at siya while she looks clueless.

KRANTI- I've not seen her since morning..

SIYA- she must be in her room.. I'll just check her..

Kranti nods at her and siya went in sumitra's room. She witnessed sumitra sleeping on her bed. She moves towards her.

SIYA- choti maa...

Sumitra didn't answered her. Siya looks confused. She patted her shoulder and sumitra opens her eyes.

SIYA- choti maa..??

Sumitra tried to get up holding her head while siya helped her.

SIYA- kya hua choti maa?? Are you ok?

Sumitra smile at her lightly.

SUMITRA- ofcourse I am Siya..

Siya continued looking at her tensed trying to read her expression while Sumitra looks at other side.

SIYA- no choti maa.. you are not fine.. please tell me what happened?

Asked Siya in a concern. Sumitra nods at her.

SUMITRA- relax siya..bas halka sa sar dard he.. it's nothing to get worried..

Siya touched her forehead to check the temperature.

SIYA- ye kya choti maa? You didn't call anyone? Atleast you could have called me.

Said Siya in a concern. Sumitra nods at her lightly.

SUMITRA- I'm fine siya..

SIYA- no you are not.. I will bring breakfast and medicine for you..

Said siya and leaves from there. She moves downstairs where everyone were settled on dinning..

KRANTI- what happened siya?

SIYA- maa.. actually choti maa is not well..

Kranti became surprised hearing her while everyone gets up from their seat..

LAKSHMAN- what happened bhabhi?

SIYA- she is having headache..

RAM- all of a certain? Is everything ok with NGO.?

Asked Ram to Siya while she gave a "don't know" expression.

DASHRATH- let us check with her.

Everyone moves towards sumitra's room accept kranti.

SIYA- maa.. I'll bring breakfast for choti maa.

Kranti nods in yes and looks at sumitra's room...

RAM- headaches are not normal choti maa.. you seems to be tired too..

Said Ram feeling concerned. Sumitra lightly patted his hands.

SUMITRA- aisa kuch nahi he ram.. actually kal rat soyi nahi na.. that's why I'm feeling tired..

Everyone looks at her in a questioning look. Kranti too came there standing at the door.

BHARAT- why didn't you told us? You are not feeling well since night and you.... This is not done choti maa..

Bharat said complaining. Sumitra smile at him.

SUMITRA- you all were busy in your work. Lakshman was on call with Urmila. You both were with didi and bhaisahab.. and Ram and Siya were together... That's why I didn't disturbed you all...

Kranti looks startled plus sad when Sumitra confessed this. She turns around to leave while Siya came there. She looks confused at Kranti going from there. Ram too notices kranti's reaction. Siya and Ram exchange glances at this..

DASHRATH- I'll call the doctor for check up...

Said Dashrath taking his phone when Sumitra stops him.

SUMITRA- are nahi bhaisahab.. there is no need for that.. I'll take rest for sometime and get fine..

Said sumitra smiling. Siya enters carrying her breakfast.

LAKSHMAN- then we will be staying here too... We are not going anywhere today

Lakshman holds sumitra's hand.

DASHRATH- sumitra... I've an important meeting.. so I'll leave.. but you take rest and take care of yourself..

Sumitra nods at him while Dashrath leaves. Ram looks at Siya and actions at her to look after kranti. Siya nods at him and leaves from there...

Siya searches for Kranti and finds her in her room. She moves towards her and sits beside her. Kranti looks at her

KRANTI- mene use akela kar diya he Siya..

Said Kranti feeling sad. Siya looks confused.

SIYA- maa..??

Kranti holds Siya's hands. She was shivering lightly

KRANTI- it is.... All... My.... My fault...

She said stammering. Siya holds her hand making her calm..

SIYA- maa.. choti maa will be fine. Why are you getting so worried.?

Kranti nods her head..

KRANTI- you all will not understand.. what your choti maa has gone through..

Said Kranti being sad. She looks down and continued.

KRANTI- sumitra lost her husband at very young age..I brought her here, in this house.. I thought she will be fine being here..and she was.. Ram ke sath rehke, she has forgotten all her circumstances..

Siya listened to Kranti. While Kranti gets emotional remembering the past.

KRANTI- and when Bharat, lakshman and Shatrughan were born...mera sara dhyan baccho me hi lag gaya.. I completely forgot about sumitra's life.. I completely forgot that she has her whole life to live.. I completely forgot that.. she has a right to start her life afresh..

Kranti gets tears. Siya controls her emotions and caresses kranti's back.

KRANTI- if I have paid attention to sumitra.. agar uski... Dusri shadi karwa di hoti to... Today sumitra would have her family...her kids.. her husband...

Kranti closed her eyes in frustration. Siya tried to console her

SIYA- maa.. we all are with choti maa.. we are her family.. she is not alone..

KRANTI- I know siya.. but hamare hote hue bhi kabhi sumitra akeli pad jati hogi na.. I have ruined her life...

Siya nods her head in no. She wipes kranti's tears.

SIYA- you know what maa.. you should clear these things out with choti maa..

KRANTI- I can't siya.. I don't have that courage..

Said Kranti interrupting.

SIYA- then these things will make you suffer maa..

Kranti looks at her while siya tried to explain her.

SIYA- I have witnessed you both.. the bond you both shares... And I know choti maa will make you feel better..bat karne se hi chize sort out hoti he na maa...

Kranti smile at her lightly. While siya continued.

SIYA- the way you've told me, opened your heart in front of me.. the same way you tell these things to choti maa.. I'm sure you will feel better..

Siya smile at her nodding her head to talk with sumitra. Kranti wipes her tears and smile...

URMILA- what is this choti maa? How can you get sick like this? Aap bimar hogayi to shadi ki tayariya kon karega?

Said Urmila trying to scold sumitra on a video call.

MANVI- yes choti maa.. you've to take care of yourself na..

Sumitra smile at them while the brothers too agreed with their partners..

SUMITRA- when you all will come here, then I'll rest completely. Your Siya dii will get company na..

The girls giggle at this. Kranti and Siya enters the room. Ram looks at them and ask siya with his eyes. Siya smile at him in assurance.

SHRUTI- acha choti maa.. you take rest now.. we will talk later...

SUMITRA- ok.. bye...

Sumitra disconnect the call and gave the phone back to Shatrughan. She looks at Kranti who was standing near her not meeting eyes with her. Ram looks at them

RAM- come on.. let choti maa rest for some time..

Ram indicates his brothers and everyone leaves from there keeping Kranti and Sumitra alone. Kranti sits in front of sumitra still not meeting eyes with her.

SUMITRA- didi..??

Sumitra observed her tensed expressions. Kranti looks at her

KRANTI- I'm sorry sumitra...

She apologized to Sumitra, who was now confused.

SUMITRA- sorry?? For what didi?

KRANTI- mene tumhe akela kar diya na sumitra?

Sumitra looks surprised by her confession. Kranti holds her hands.

KRANTI- believe me.. I didn't do anything intentionally.. tum is ghar me itna ache se rehne lagi... I completely forgotten about your individual life..

Sumitra nods her head in no. Kranti sheds some tears while Sumitra smile at her.

SUMITRA- what are you talking about didi..?? Why these thoughts are coming in your mind?

Sumitra wipes kranti's tears and holds her hands again.

SUMITRA- didi.. this is my family too..hai na?

Kranti nods at her in yes.

SUMITRA- these kids are mine.. this house is my own..and you.. you and bhaisahab has taken a great care of me.. like my guardian.. and I'm very thankful to you for this.

Kranti smile at her nodding her head.

KRANTI- tell me genuinely.. don't you feel alone sometimes?

Sumitra smile at her question.

SUMITRA- I'll not lie to you.. kabhi kabhi sad feel karti hu didi.. but this doesn't mean that I miss having my own family.. not at all..

Kranti smile at her lightly. Sumitra holds her hand and indicates her to not cry.

SUMITRA- come on didi.. I got a little sick.. and you started thinking what not...

Sumitra wipes kranti's eyes.

KRANTI- are you sure you are not angry with me?

Sumitra smile nodding her head in agreement

SUMITRA- not at all didi..

Kranti hugs sumitra feeling relieved while Sumitra too caresses her elder sister's back consoling her...
