I need to migrate an FF of mine, but at the same time i was thinking to revise it. So it is possible to migrate one chapter at a time or just “publish” one chapter at time?

Yes, both of the options are possible. When migrating you would have to select chapters, you can select one at a time and then migrate. Or you can migrate all at once and post the chapters you want to post by keeping them on active mode and keeping the others in draft mode. When in draft mode your chapters are not accessible to anyone else except for you.

Again me with two more questions:

I just read that now it is possible to migrate even the comments, so my question is, if I'm planning to migrate migrate the entire story, but will post one chapter at a time, to migrate the comments I will have to wait right?

I was thinking to collect all my OSs under one book, so it is possible to migrate the commets of each OS on that book, even if the threads are differents.

Just around 6 years back I wrote a small fiction in Punar Vivah forum. Now the thread has been closed.

Can I edit it and post it again here in this forum ?

Or share the same story here in this forum ?

Answer to your first question is, yes you need to wait till you update the entire fiction and then as to migrate comment coz once the migration is done it cannot be done again.

Yes even if you have different thread links all comments can/will be migrated.

I don’t where to post this...here a few suggestion for the new FF.

1- Please add Angst in the genre section. I literally beg you😆 And also Mystery

2- Add a colour button next to the title in order to give a rating to the FF/OS.

Green button: light comedy/romantic work

Yellow button: little angst, family drama, little mention of theme like death, cheating

Red Button: work with theme like Angst, violence, depression or death, mention of Adult Content.

3-Add a lenght section when you add a story:

FanFiction

One Shot

Drabble

Short Story(2-10 chapter)

Poem

4- Lastly, I think many members still don’t know about this new feature of IF. Its need more publicity🤔 Maybe held a contest regularly or doing an interview of “author of the month” or FF editor (why not?)

thank you for replying back.

I saw the Q/A in HelpCenter...about genre, I have seen the list and it cover everything...maybe add Non fiction for work based on original character, not related to any kind of character from books, tv series or film.

And I meant to add Angst in my ongoing FF as genre tag but couldn’t do it. The tag “angst” n “mystery” doesn’t show below when you type it🤔
