A short AU where Pia and Ansh were friends before he got engaged. Warning Heartbreak ahead!!!!
She spent what often felt like an eternity alone and abandoned, she was used to it. Sure she wanted to feel what it was like to be in love with someone, to have a family, to be doted by someone but life had left her alone too many times in that little corner in the temple teaching her that she did not need any of those things. So when she got that scholarship she took it and ran leaving behind those bad memories. Later on, she found out that her father runs the school that offered her the scholarship and that she has a sister who she doesn't remember. But she did not expect anything from them. All she wanted was her mother and some answers. She wasn't surprised for her father to not recognizing her, she expected it, after all, he did leave her and her mother, who might have died. She honestly didn't expect anything from the city that took everything from her, apart from some answers. But what she really didn't expect was him, Ansh. She was used to moody people and she had learned to either ignore them or befriend them. But he, he just lit a fire in her soul. She either hated him or got sucked into his eyes. Either way, he was annoying with his Don't touch me's and his constant addiction with taking her things. But that day at the forest had changed everything for them. They sort of became friends. She trusted him and he trusted her. That's all that mattered. She didn't expect him to get engaged to Ruby, she didn't expect her heart to hurt so much when seeing them together. She didn't expect the jealousy that she felt. What she really didn't expect was that loneliness that she had forgotten the taste of after Ansh. She didn't expect its departure or arrival. But here she was stuck in that same place as she was 18 years ago alone and abandoned once again only he was never hers, to begin with. She didn't expect to fall in love with Him. She didn't expect to be so lost in him that she forgot her pain along the way. She simply didn't expect him and the heartbreak that he brought along into her life.
