Nah. I don't begrudge Riddhima anything other than holding Armaan back. I sympathized with her a LOT in s2 and I really just wanted things to get better for her. And then they did when she decided to give Sid another chance. But then, Armaan started getting close to Shilpa and she couldn't stand that. And the way she ran hot and cold with Armaan... Not leaving Sid but then behaving like a possessive girlfriend when Armaan got close to someone else, I hated that. And I hated how she'd snap at Armaan for anything and everything without reason.

I get that she did it because she knew that if she wouldn't be completely cruel to Armaan, she wouldn't be able to stop her feelings from expressing themselves and she also thought that maybe doing it would be easier than being civil to him or whatever... But I hate that she used Armaan as her personal emotional punching bag. I don't like that about her.

And then... After Sid left her, she still behaved so badly with Armaan right up until the last episode. That's what makes me mad at her.

But her situation was bad in the beginning. After the shoot-out, she lost everything. Her friends all moved on, her sister left, and then her fiance who she was ready to die for left her too. I can't even imagine her plight. There was no one in her corner. And she did what she had to do to survive. I'm proud of her for standing back up on her own feet after everything. I really am. I just wish she'd been a little more careful and sensitive after Armaan came back. 🤧

Well I hated both her and her behavior in s2 with passion. Conveniently forgetting everything shes been through. Because she didn't seemed like the old Ridhima or Arman's basket as he would like to call her. Because that Ridhima would never hurt Arman the way she did. Which obviously she wont be after going through so much. The post shootout time would be terrifying for her. Finding herself alone and abandoned by the man she was willing to die for. Than living by yourself in a strange country not knowing whether to believe what she was told or not. And if it was true than the man she was on relationship with just simply forget their two years together all his promises and left her for such a superficial reason. What followed up next might have the feeling of self loathing and not being good enough.

This should have been the story of S2. Both of them finding their way back together dealing with what they went through. Picking up themselves and building up their future. Instead they went for the silly forced marriage. But I guess they weren't sure whether Karan would return or not. Maybe that's why they did that stupid thing.

I agree. S2 definitely should have been about Riddhima finding semblance in her life and Armaan making up to her for abandoning her the way he did. I understand why he would leave, but I'm so mad at him for lying about it. If he had the courage to leave, he should have had the guts to be truthful about it too. Like, Rahul was. Rahul never shied away from the fact that he loved Muskaan and he was leaving because of his own shortcomings. Muskaan might have not liked it, but Rahul never blamed her or accused her of anything in the break-up, unlike Armaan who made it so that Riddhima would spiral into self loathing for what happened.

They had so much scope to explore all that. I mean, imagine Riddhima finding out the truth, and then Armaan coming back and she's so happy he's back and that he's doing well, but at the same time she's mad at him for leaving her and for not trusting her enough with the truth. It would've brought the same level of angst in the show that we got, but the story would have been so much better.

And idk about the reason tho. Because I think KSG came back like 3-4 weeks after Sid & Riddhima got married. So it must have definitely been in the works when the wedding happened na. Ekdum achanak se 1-2 din mein his come back wouldn't have been planned. And I do remember in one interview, KSG said that they wanted to do something new and they thought that everyone would expect Armaan to turn up at the last second when Riddhima was getting married and stop it, which is exactly why they didn't do it. Cause they thought it would be too cliche to show that. Now, maybe he was just saying for the heck of it, or maybe it was true. But if it was, he was definitely already on board to come back when they got married, which is what makes me so angry. Like, bro! You had a better story waiting for you and you just wasted all that potential!

WTH! If ksg was always meant to come back than why did they went ahead with that crappy storyline. Were they high on some cheap drugs? Unbelievable if Ksg was on the board they shouldn't have done the forced shadi. The other storyline had so much potential.

What Arman did was cruel. We know in his head it was all for Ridhima's benefit but making it seems like that he left because she's not good enough for him. Did he even for a minute thought what would that do to her. Imagine your fiance leaving you because you might not be able to walk again, and that too because you took a bullet meant for him. That was the worst thing Arman ever did. The second would be when Arman and Ridhima almost slept together. That was so wrong and gross.

Let's not talk about the almost sleeping together. That does not exist in my book. I mean, it was very aesthetically shot and I like that aspect of it. If we watch that scene in isolation, it's an amazing scene, but neither Armaan nor Riddhima would ever do something like that. They're not the kind of people who cheat. Never. It makes my blood boil that the CVs thought it was okay to show something like that where they're concerned. 🙄
