Three days later...
morning
A guy with a pleasant smile on his face talking something to his near person, wearing a blue jean and tucked lite Sandal shirt , over that a white coat showing him as perfect handsome doctor
When they were about to cross the reception, she wished.. He nodded and wished back with a smile it brought a smile on her face too
He continued speaking to the near by person who was same alike him in white coat but little fat and seems aged
" yes Dr. Sidhant sure we can handle"
That near by doctor said
"I know Dr. Karen, you noted good I think.. Can carry on"
" thanks for the advice Dr. sidhant"
"not advice, just my opinion.. "
The corridor came for them to move towards their own department
Dr. Sidhant forwarded his hand with a smile for a shake
Dr. Karen too with a smile forwarded
They gave a confident handshake with a good smile and nod... they moved..
He pushed the glass door but not a visible one a thick opaque one stating his name Dr. sidhant bharathwaj with his studied holders
He went in and the doors shuts automatically
going in sat on his rolling chair and pulled out his mobile and wallet to push it aside on table
He pulled the stethoscope from the table To wrap around his neck and pushed himself towards the table more to give a bell ( ring)
He glanced the door thinking the nurse will be arriving but nope. Wondering , he thought they said after three days the head nurse will be appointed
Is not yet appointment??
But still at least the duty nurse can report like past three days
He just gave a nod and tried to get up
And at the time the door gave a opening sound
He turned to see a girl with some reports on her hand trying to give a smile
" get in "
He said and settled again on his chair
She went and stood before
" so if my guess is right , head nurse? "
He asked
She with a little nod said
" yes doctor , actually didn't know the tone so took time to come "
All nurses will be on a nurse room till doctor arrives after that will be outside their doctor s room sending patients and helping doctor.. When doctor rings the bell they will be signaled as he or she calling their nurse in , each of it have a own tone, in that they can understand which doctor is calling and who has to go..
"yaa happens, no worries "
He said like understanding and asked
" and you? "
" myself roli.. Roli dewedi"
She said some confident
" so congrats mrs roli as u have won your colleagues trust they voted and made you head nurse, and this time it was selected in night shift right "
" yes doctor and thank you "
She shared her smile again
" oh may be that's the reason you are not familiar "
He said with little think
She gave lite nod as may be yes
" so, mrs roli...at least you will be long?? "
" doctor? "
She asked like pls come again I did not understand
"amh that, with one or other reason I found the head nurses are changing constantly that too for me mostly , so just asked"
He said with little thought and smile
She giving her small smile said confidently
" no doctor .i came accepting this I wont leave and go"
"good ..so had fine discuss to clear basic queries right. Anything else mrs roli"
He asked
" hmm yes doctor "
She said with little wonder
While he asked out
"what? "
"not mrs.Roli.. Just miss "
Just now he noticed her clearly as his eyes falls on her forehead and neck to see its empty place
He smiled saying
" sorry actually the head nurses will mostly married , as in practice it came, but you were so young enough hmm miss roli"
He stresses the miss roli rounding his eyeballs as showing his correction
She with a smile nodded
He asked swiftly like a query
"I was calling u the same from beginning right why u didn't stop me and say "
" its not right to cut someone's talk and speak ours "
She said simply
He too taking it simply said
" oh great habit.. "
Her lips parted and then smiled accepting
He took a breathe saying
" ok now, without wasting time, shall we go"
" yes doctor "
" hmm where? "
He asked as without knowing she is saying yes doctor but to his surprise she spoke
"first to see the patients admitted by you in general ward if there any scan, x rays reports you have prescribed I should go and get it in that department , then to private rooms , then children ward, and observation in ICU."
He asked with a smile coming out in wonder
" is you worked as head nurse before? "
" no doctor, the before one said me as I asked what's all about in this , she said"
"so, that's the reports you are having in your hand for my patients"
He asked raising his eyebrows little
She smiling with a nod said normally
" yes doctor, this two x ray for general ward bed no 6 and 18..and this scan is for room no 152 and the blood reports for room no 120 is not yet ready and this scan is for bed no 14 in children ward "
He smiled and said
" hmm really surprising and impressive "
She gave her reaction like why?
He continued and said
" actually it will take 3-4 days for a new head nurse to get settled with me , but you are good fast .so"
He concluded with sigh, getting up from place
She moved inch back
He walked front, she back with the reports
Before he opens his room, he thought something
He turned and said
"mrss ( he made face like not and corrected swiftly ) miss roli, do have any note pad that you can note down the dose and tablet , or any reports that you have to give patients before or between evening visit "
She showed her face like no not having..he continued and pointed
" hmm there in second draw there will be a note pad you can take it out and keep with u, because day and day the doses and tablet may change, u note it down and give it, and yes you can itself do and can say any other nurses too, being a head nurse u have that rights to get worked up all , "
She left a small smile and said
" no doctor. I can itself make it out"
" just said if you want you can take help from other nurses, if you ok with yourself to handle all.. Its fine.. Nothing to bother "
He nodded and concluded
She too giving lite nod said in little low voice
" ok doctor "
