Ab Kya Kare?
RECAP: Lakshya continued: I was just going to say 'KT tumhe kisi cheez ko khana hoga.' that's it! And you were making a big issue out of it. You should at least let someone finish what they are saying.
He gave her a wink which no one noticed but her. She narrowed her eyes giving him a warning.
Lakshya 'Woah! That hurts KT. How the hell can I go now the car is very near, if I go the both of us (Kripa and Lakshya) would get hit by the car if it doesn't stop on time. It might distract Angad or Kripa leading us all into danger if I go.'
The car was less than half a meter away and it hadn't stopped yet. Angad still had a firm expression on his face but he was stepping harder on the brake. Only at that moment Kripa realized what was happening. She saw the car, a moving car, right in front of her but didn't notice the closeness all she saw was Angad's raging eyes filled with hatred. Something surely serious, very serious, had happened now.
Less then a feet away now.

Part 23
There was a screeching sound to which KT and Kashish covered their ears.
The car was less than a human-step away.
The car touched Kripa's knees, the car wasn't even an inch away, but she stood firm, if she hadn't control over herself standing she would have fell backwards.
The car stopped bringing a small smile of relief on Lakshya's face and reliving gasps from KT and Kashish.
KT shouted at Angad smiling 'Angad!! What the heck? You had got us all worried!'
Lakshya 'Dude that was perfect….yet scary have to admit that!!'
Angad glanced at Kripa's thoughtful face and turned sideways to look at the 3 of them and smiled 'You know me! Well bye for now.' He waved them bye.
He moved his car backwards a few feet and stared hard at Kripa for a brief moment and drove past her.
Kripa was confused. 'Just what on earth is it that's bugging him?' she wondered.
Kashish 'Kripa main aur KT mall jarahe hai. You wanna come?'
Kripa came back from her trance 'Kya?...oh…..umm….nahin woh main…ummm…mujhe kaam hai ghar par. Only Prithvi must be at home now. Uncle aur Aunty Alliyah ko lene gai hoge aaj I guess no one's home today. Next time then.'
KT sighed 'As you wish Kripa……but I was going to show you this one dress for a party I have to go with my parents to. Anyway it's fine.'
Kripa gave a smile sorry-smile 'Sorry KT. But it's…'
KT interrupted 'Seriously Kripa I'm fine, it's okay. I understand. Don't feel bad about it, okay?.'
Kripa smiled and nodded.
Lakshya spoke up 'Well I'm free. I can come…' he bent low (something like bowed but he didn't had his head down, he had bent and was looking up at KT-hope it's not confusing) in front of KT '…if you don't mind.' and winked at her and again only she saw that.
KT gasped and started hitting him 'Kashish himmat toh dekho iski. First he dares me to eat grass and now he's……arrggg…..he's such a....'
Kashish was laughing at the scene and was trying to stop KT from hurting Lakshya 'KT ab thordo usse. Jana nahin hai kya?'
KT left him and he winked at her again. This time not only KT saw but Kripa did too and she smiled at that while looking at Lakshya. KT attempted to hit Lakshya again but Kashish stopped her by holding both her hands and ordered her to go with her. The girls bid Kripa bye and Kashish bid Lakshya bye while KT was obviously furious.
Kripa and Lakshya were left alone on the road by now. Lakshya turned towards Kripa 'Kripa main tumhe ghar chordoun?'
Kripa was yet in another trance 'Huh? Nahin…..I mean no, it' fine.'
Lakshya looked at her for a while while she got back to her own world 'Kripa mein kabse dekh raha houn tum kahin khoyi hui ho? What happened? Anything's bothering you?'
Kripa came back to the real world again 'Kya?.....oh umm…nahin toh….I'm fine.' Her eyes darted here and there, she was nervous.
Lakshya 'Sure Kripa?'
Kripa smiled 'Haan Laksh. It's okay. Let's go.'
They started walking towards the car park to Lakshya's car.
Lakshya: Kripa jab Angad itni speed se araha tha, kya tumne woh dekha nahin? Tum tabhi kahi khoyi hui thi. KT itni zoor sey chila rahi thi, uski bhi awaaz tumhe nahin ayi kya. Ouch abhi bhi uski chilane ka effect horaha hai. My ears are hurting like hell.
He pretended his ears were hurting. He was going here and there.
Kripa gave a small laugh 'Laksh tum bhi. Waise mein tumse kuch pochoon…'
Lakshya, interrupted her, came back and started walking with her 'Kripa tumne mere sawal ka jawab nahin diya.'
The little smile on Kripa's face vanished. 'Laksh zyaada kuch nahin tha…..main bas kuch sooch rahi thi'
Lakshya figured out it wasn't the time to get into this and Kripa didn't want to say anything now so he just left it.
They reached his car.
'Kripa, c'mon. Main tumhe chorde tha hoon. Tum aise akeli kaise jao gi?'
Kripa tried protesting 'Nahin I'm fine Laksh. It's okay.'
But Lakshya wasn't hearing 'No' for an answer so he grabbed her hand and made her sit next to the driver's seat and then settled himself down.
Kripa sighed 'Tum nahin maano ge.'
Lakshya was putting his key in the ignition and smiled looking at Kripa 'Of course nahin.'
Kripa smiled and shook her head.
Later when they were on the road. Lakshya was humming a tune when Kripa stared at him. He noticed that and stopped humming 'Kya hua Kripa? Aise kyu dekh rahi ho?' and glanced at her a few times while at the same time driving his car.
Kripa kept looking at him; studying him and finally spoke 'You love her don't you?'
Lakshya lost control on the car and drove left, right, left again then right again violently a few more times and finally they were on the right track again.
Kripa scold him lightly 'Laksh!!! Tum kar kya rahe the???'
Lakshya was driving slowly now. 'It's your fault. You were the one distracting me by asking that question. Of course I don't love KT!! How could you even think that? Main bas hassi mazak ke liye usse chaer (tease) karta hoon. That's it. Nothing more and nothi…'
Kripa interrupted by calmly speaking and staring at Lakshya intensely 'Maine kab kaha KT?'
Lakshya was surprised….mainly by his outburst before. 'What on earth was I thinking?' he thought to himself. This time Lakshya stopped the car immediately on the side of the road. 'Kripa…tum bhi na….you meant KT anyway….so why…'
Kripa: Yes, I meant KT. But how'd you know that? Huh?
Lakshya was fidgeting to come up with an answer; he couldn't find a new one and just laid his head on the steering wheel frustrated.
Kripa giggled at his situation lightly.
Lakshya: If you didn't want to come it was fine with me but I just thought of giving you a lift home. You didn't have to do that to punish me for my good deed.
Kripa smiled at him who looked exhausted 'So you love her or not?'
Lakshya sat back straight and looked at Kripa who was smiling knowingly he just couldn't stand it and looked sideway, turned his face to the driver's window but couldn't help but smile. Kripa saw that from the reflection of his window and grinned.
She moved forward a little and said 'I saw you wink at her before she left, too.'
Lakshya was embarrassed by now and he shut his eyes closed (still facing his window) but he couldn't help but the smile would just widen itself.
Lakshya after sometime moaned 'KripA (he emphasized on 'pA' especially the 'a')!!' He was now looking forward, outside the window and had his hands on the steering wheel.
Kripa giggled 'Kya?'
Lakshya looked at her trying to be annoyed but just couldn't. He hadn't got anything to say and he just looked forward outside at the view.
Kripa kept studying him 'How are you thinking to tell her?'
Lakshya now totally gave in he remained silent for a while 'Kripa…I don't know. I do have feelings for her.' Kripa smiled at that and he just blushed. He continued 'But I'm not sure if I really love her or am I just attracted towards her.'
Kripa nodded smiling 'So you finally confessed huh?'
Lakshya looked at her 'You had figured it all anyway.'
He started driving again.
KT was looking forward. Lakshya glanced at her once and then smiled to himself and was thinking of how to ask something 'Kripa?…'
She looked at him questioningly. He got nervous '…err….nothing.'
She looked at him once more then went back to her thoughts.
Lakshya glanced at her for a second 'Kripa…'
Kripa looked at him while he continued '….I wanted to…eerrr…..ask….'
Before he finished she answered for him 'I don't know about that Laksh but sure she does like it sometimes when you do your silly pranks.' She smiled looking at Lakshya. His mouth dropped open at first, surprised that she knew what he was going to ask, then later he asked 'How did you know I was going to ask that?'
Kripa smiled at him 'What else could you ask at this moment?'
Lakshya glanced at her and moaned loudly 'KriPA! How do you always know everything?'
To that Kripa laughed a little whereas he was enjoying everything, though he was embarrassed but still he was happy that someone understood his feelings and he can share it with them now.
Lakshya wasn't shy anymore about the whole thing now 'So umm…Kripa can you help me in this?'
Kripa: Sure and don't worry I won't tell anyone till you want me to tell someone!
Lakshya smiled 'Thanks'
After a few silent moments Lakshya looked at Kripa when there was a red traffic light (meaning the cars would stop and let people cross the road). She was in her trance when he snapped his fingers in front of her.
Lakshya: See you are lost again.
Kripa: Nahin Laksh main bas…
Lakshya: Stop giving clarifications now.
Kripa: Laksh…
Lakshya: It's okay. I wanted to ask you something…
Kripa looked forward at the cars in front of them while he looked at her, studying her 'Hhmm…'
He continued 'Do YOU like someone?'
Kripa quickly looked at him 'What? Laksh no. Why do you think that?'
Lakshya turned back to driving, it was a green signal now, 'Today most of the time you were thinking something so I thought maybe…you know…you might be thinking of your someone.'
Kripa hit him lightly on his arm 'There are other things in the world to think about too.'
Lakshya: I was trying my luck.
Kripa: Well you shouldn't, you are bad at it anyway.
Lakshya: But I still can't figure out how you got to know it.
Kripa looked at him a little weirdly 'Laksh!! It was obvious if someone studied you back there.'
Lakshya ran his right hand through his hair thinking how it could be that obvious 'Oh well. My bad luck. So you don't like anyone at the moment?'
Kripa shook her head 'No.'
Lakshya asked softly, leaning closer on her side 'Not even Angad?'
Kripa surprised at the sudden mention of Angad 'Laksh! I said there's no one but you're still trying to guess.'
Lakshya: Oh well then you're simply just a damn good guesser.
Kripa proudly: Well yes but never try to act smart okay. Or else you'd get smacked in the head.
They reached Kripa's (actually in a way you know it's not hers exactly but still she lives there…) place.

PS: Lakshya and Kripa are somewhat like a brother and sister; they behave that way actually…so please don't misunderstand by the way they were behaving with each other.
I hope you all liked it…..I hope you all comment…!!I was just surprised to get that many comments over-night that I just had to write a part….I won't be able to post a part on Monday but surely think of the days after to post another part.… …I hope you all tell me your true feelings! I'm waiting for your comments!…..I'm sorry if it sound dull but do tell me how you feel so that.
