Yummy food, Nisha & EN! I asked my mil to take it easy and do just paruppu payasam. But she also made veppampoo pachidi, panagam & neer mor. I was surprised she heeded to me and didn't make vadais, first time in years.

It was grand dinner menu with 2 other friends' family as my husband decided to spend the day at golf course. Idli, pongal, vadai, radish sambhar, coconut chutney, kesari.

Shucks people , one hr turned out to be entire evening with friends.

I worry if my kids will even know about the Tamil calendar and care to follow it. I want them to... really really badly

But here in the USA it is so easy to not bother doing anything for festivals because "who is going to know?" "Who cares" etc

In like 50 years, panagam and neer mor etc will be all gone

I usually make vempamboo tayir pachadi (neem buds yogurt raita) this year I forgot to arrange for it and hence I missed it too

I feel bad when I dont do something exactly like my Mom does

I am unable to get over that feeling

Nisha my kids became night owls in the weakened and I am not able to sleep until they are so that's why I was awake until that late...

My mom just sent a looong WhatsApp msg to my daughter that had her menu, which was basically all our favorites, wished her well for all her standard testing and AP exams, how much she misses her and wishes that when we come next to India, not to pack it with too many activities and visiting. It hurt a little to have her asking us to just give them a full two weeks stay uninterrupted.

It's a simple request but I don't know why every trip becomes rushed 😕

We r always in a rush ! We want to build mountains in that two weeks. Hope we all as a world can slow down. Two weeks with parents totally agree is such a simple request that many are struggling to fulfill. Especially as a woman, u need to think about splitting time with in laws as well.

A couple of bangles snapped as he smothered her aggressive dominating male

He laughed caressing her possessively

Her heart sank when she realized he was actually OK with her going

He went on his side, raising his head on his palm

"U just need to be left alone with those dumb litigants don't u? she whispered

"TUM keh rahi thi Dilli jaana chahti ho he dragged her closer possessively

He looked at her sheepishly when he realized she had meant the both of them

He really could not go immediately

He realized he would be screwed if he said so to her in her vulnerable post mindless kissing state

She wouldn't let him touch her either

Bhayyas are right he thought... in order to get what he wanted he had to play it tactfully

He zipped it up slowly letting his index finger tease the zipper all the way down afterwards

She fought goosebumps moving away, leaning on the headboard as he stretched his legs tangling with hers

He grinned at her eagerness

"You actually don't mind spending time alone with me? U looked positively eager he muttered lazily smacking his lips

"Hum bus yeh dekh rahe hain aap kitne eager NAHI hain she threw at him

"Kya saza dengi? he said relaxing, his arms behind his head,

"Zyaada darne ki zaroorat nahi she said primly

"Nahi... she got off the bed, stumbling as her legs caught in his sheets

He flung a pillow at her laughing

She wants you so badly to be with her and you are busy with your litigants
Go for a weekend atleast
