RG I'm hoping my daughter continues to do her formal education in music in college as well, at least a music minor along with sciences. It's tough to find the right institution that offers that at a reasonable cost. Good colleges public and private that combine both have to be narrowed down.,Public colleges that combine both are very few on my basic research so far . Private ones are stinking expensive. I've to get started on more informative research but I'm too lazy to do that hoping my daughter will figure it out herself. Let's see otherwise her piano will be just another furniture at home... . In her quest for Sciences and cognitive psychology , I'm praying that she gets opportunities to fit in some time for her music.
Agree, all the investments made with respect to time & money on music do not go waste. I suggested to my son he can look into taking music as a minor but definitely not a major. Or look for universities where he can continue performing. But I am not planning to do the research. I am hoping he will figure it out himself.
