Adhi-Anami romance feels bland and forced to me ... I'm scared SP is starting to interfere with the show 😕 I Liked the way Adhi is still hesitant ... but the trip fall in the bus was very forced, and Anami's reactions of shouting at the bus driver, though typical of her, felt very childish and brattish. She still give child vibes, not woman ones, so the romance feels even more forced.

@Simran one of the things that drew me to RKC was the Benaras on location shoot. I loved the Maha aarti, the ghats, Anami's house, the roads. LM wasis as a rich, powerful, royal family was especially something I could relate to with the clothes and jewels. I was watching an especially horrid serial IPKKND3 with the craziest clothes, accessories and the fakest mahal, I found RKC a refreshing change because it was so real. I love the bus ride they take now. I love RKC outdoor shoots. I am hoping for a long road trip that lasts the whole of next week.

Satrupa back in her Maharani Satrupa mode? Will be nice to watch. But, as someone here suggested , if she resorts to blackmail technique again, then it becomes repetition.I hope CVS do something really creative this time around to bring her back.

Bella, Athene an Mango, this was y I got irritated yesterday. Had there been subtlety, I'd have at least accepted even if not really enjoying. I am not against romance - an elderly man with a young girl or vice versa or for that matter same age romance. Here the girl is shown to be totally immature and impulsive and suddenly she should fall for this guy within a few weeks. Had they at least shown her evolving and then falling for this guy, whilst the guy even if he has fallen in love, keeps his distance in a dignified manner, I could have accepted it. But, honestly, when Ila was goofing up, he got angry, but now he is ok. Fine love is blind. And Ila can't goof up in her duties. All conflicts may arise later. But here this seems so forced, so artificial.

See one thing we need to know that as far as RKC goes Adhi-Anami pair was there from day one. It was the part of the story. Adhi loves her, but for Anami it can be something more than friendship just attraction that's it. It is still not shown she has fallen for him.

Shruthi, you wrote most of what I wanted to say.

Adhi-Anami was sold to the audience from the day he met her in disguise as a pest controller, right after she entered LM.

IMO, the timing of their romance is in line with the story, when Anami has to be forced to make a choice to come and claim her inheritance on her own and run the empire on her own terms,while head butting with her Mom and the system she supports.

This will never become another IPKN, the main story will always be about power and control between the old guards and the new.

I think, this road trip is coming of age of Anami, the one who returns will be a force to reckon with.

I'm also wondering whether Adhi too will return as rich son of Diru and not as poor low salaried Daroga.😆

Mangothyme, I was going through ur posts in leisure. Thought I'd add to what u have already put forth. A mother in the purest form is one who thinks of her child foremost and then others even if they r children. When we close our eyes. and think deeply, it is for our child that we first care however selfish this may sound. We ourselves do not want to accept this reality, but that is the truth; absolute truth. Right or wrong I cannot judge. True we feel guilty and we tend to look away from the eyes of the other child. But that is the irony. In fact, the reason Sat's character endears me to it is just this reason. The other day too, when Anami was listening with H/P, she was talking to her not Laddoo. And she did not look up at Laddoo one bit; probably guilt or maybe the fact she totally forgot his existence. PP also did in the first episode. When Laddoo fell into the water, she was blasting him with total concern and even in her fit of anger ticked off Anami as a foster daughter, b4 she realised what she was speaking. And yes, her character being a lot good than Sat's (who had to face more harsh realities) immediately got pained. But what I am trying to say is it is first one's own child b4 others. I'dn't compare it with Yashoda and Krishna. As to heir and all, it is probably as u say. I haven't had the opportunity to observe heirs or their families in so much detail as I have ordinary day to day people 😛.

I agree with u both Janas and Mangothyme. For a mother her children come first ,above every thing else. I don't consider it to be selfish . Children look up to the the mother before any body else. So it is the foremost duty of a mother to think about her children first.

Brilliantly put Usha - that last line of urs. To give away the stronger child. Bang on. I just hope the writers start focusing on all these issues than AA romance and moving about in circles. I started watching this show only for this different reason, but if they r going to goof up for TRP ratings, I am going stop watching midway. In fact the only show I watched fully till the end was EHT though I was irritated by the last two episodes. And iron was, almost all the actors except Bhupinder Singh were just hamming. Yet I watched.

Shruthi, I didn't know bride swapping or groom swapping is the in thing in TV. I always knew of 2,3,4 lovers, ex lovers, 1st marriage, 2nd marriage, 3rd marriage et all. Wow. Which comedy shows r these? Anyway, coming back seriously, I don't remember the name of the movie, but it was taken sometime way back in the 1945-50. Wherein a princess ran away and a reporter pursues her for news, but falls in love with her, but cannot marry her because she has to take over the responsibility of her kingdom. But she acknowledges when he comes for the coronation. I do not remember the actors also; it is such a long time since I'd seen this movie. But I wonder if the creatives will make AA like that or it will become typically B/W. I guess as u said ,this totally mismatched pair is why I am unable to accept the PCMB. Of course, I am not to myself justify my take because I am not able to accept it in my mind. As for mismatched couples, not only Baldev Sudha, but even Baldev Sat r mismatched. When I am able to related them, I have no idea y I can't relate to these two. Probably my own bias. However, I stand by my feelings as regards portrayal of the scenes between the two especially one of Friday's. I guess, when something/one sets a high standard, even if there is the slightest of deficiencies, we tend to find fault which has happened here.
