Like I was toying with the idea of Chandra's sibling, and I was very sure in my mind about 2nd child dying [Moora and Avantika each losing their child]. I was also toying with the idea of a pair for all girls. But I already had many characters in the story - i dint want to introduce one more character, just to bring in the romance element... The CN Show had a sister for Chandra who was a cry baby; complaining kinda woman... So I didnt want Chandra to adopt a sister just for that sake of not having a similarity to the Show... And then came Your comment asking something about his brother... and bang... my whole problem got sorted out...
Similarly, i remember you asking about whispered rumours long back and I was explaining you of all secret passages and emergency plans as escape routes for the royalties... and I already had Panna as my inspiration and Moora's impostor for escape plan in mind. So I made twin escape plans for both in the story.

I was trying to draw a parallel between Nandini and Avantika. But you drew a parallel between Moora and Avantika !! Wow.
If you compare Komala, Sujan, Nandini and Chandr as foster children - that talks a lot about their upbringing, their relationship that they have with their mother and the bond that they share...
Komala was born to Avantika but practically raised by Nandini. She treated Nandini more like a friend and confidante. She respects Nandini as a sister and mother both.
Sujan was born to the impostor but raised by Moora. He treated Moora like his own mother. He remains loyal to her like Ram was to Kaikeyi [when he was asked to step back from his responsibilities as soon as Chandra took charge as Leader against Nand]. He thinks Moora and Chandra are his own.
Nandini was raised by Avantika. She grew up scared of her Maasi. Avantika made it extremely clear that she is never gonna give motherly love to Nandini. She grew up to be two-faced in the society - treated like a daughter in front of the public and a lonely caged bird inside the family.
Chandra was born to Moora but was practically raised by TWO MEN - the dance master and the Acharya. But he got love from the Nurse, Dance Master, Acharya, everyone who came in touch with him. He did not experience motherly love and the attachment that sons would have with their mothers - probably why he was not able to express himself freely to Moora like the way he did with Acharya. But he still turned out to be a gentleman.
If we compare Avantika and Moora in the Mother position :-
Moora had the heart to treat another child as her own. Fate took care of her own child Dev through the dance master and Acharya.
Avantika could not treat Nandini as her own child. Fate took away all her children through Nand and the war (again arising because of Nand's atrocity).
Fate decided to play hide and seek with Nand
so he never found out Dev and Moora
Nand is a master player so he covers all loop holes
but still there was a small gap in his tight hold
and Moora and Dev survived for that
In the story of Hiranyakashipu, he asked boons so so specific and was granted too. He thought he had won even Brahma with his brilliant request which had immunity from everything. But Narasimha found out a loophole for that too !
Everything that is born in this world has to perish sometime. Nand would have his downfall too. However much he covers his loopholes, they will emerge like dead bodies floating in water.
Acharya knew very well how obsessed Nand was with Nandini

So true ! You got the crux of the story you had asked me long back 😛 Nand believes that she is his lady luck. And the wheels of fortune stopped favouring Nand the day she said "I am his... He is my...". She became "his" and "he" became "hers". The incomplete sentence taken to conclusion...
