Thanks for explaining Di
In such sudden plans of escape I think women tend to have a slightly higher rate of success than men
the nurse got success as she went via the hidden tunnels and also I think as she was a woman
but it was unfortunate that Moora was stabbed in the stomach when she was travelling
what Avantika did was selfish and cruel but some where down the line she has realized she was so wrong
and so when she meets Moora she holds her heart but now it is too late and the past can't be undone
Avantika will leave Nandini easily but Nand is really a fevicol so he will still try to hold Nandini tight
I will look forward to Moora Nandini first meeting

I loved the note you wrote for the silent readers
I know what an effort it takes to write something
this is your passion and such laziness really hurts you a lot
if not a comment at least the silent readers can put a like on the update

I'm enjoying the flashback scenes. I like how you've portrayed Moora, seems more in keeping with her being a member of the royal family, and with a woman who has overcome tragedy and betrayal, of course she would have reservations about Nandni. Could never really understand the Moora on the show, who would become Nandni's friend or enemy at a minutes notice. Ahh our lovely Nandni saved Chandra's life, despite her Dad imprisoning him she still did right by him and helped him to escape, and thus begins the blossoming of their love story.

Moora in my story was a danseuse turned Queen. I wanted to bring the difference between her and Avantika, and similarities between Chandra and Nandini.
She also became a royalty from a simple civilian - like Chandra and Nandini. Unlike Avantika, She adapted quickly into royal shoes and took her responsibility seriously. Unlike Avantika, she did not fall for lust and desires when Nand approached her as a widow. She did not fall for wealth, power and authority. She refused to become a pawn at the hands of Nand.
Her quick thinking in escape plans to save herself and Dev, her never say die attitude when she became a dacoit and waited for the day to revolt against Nand - everything had reflected in Chandra too. Somewhere the DNA helped Chandra who was born royal, turned into pauper due to fate and became royalty of his own Accord.
She has identified the same strength in Nandini and that's why she accepted her... Nandini also has been a pawn at the hands of Nand, but she rose against him when she chose to save Chandra!

Could never really understand the Moora on the show, who would become Nandni's friend or enemy at a minutes notice.

Thank you Niamajen
I feel happy to have broken the mould of CN rut of characters. Moora in the show, as you say, was an unpredictable character. She had no reason to be angry with Nandini but yet she did... And supported Helena blindly. I guess they were turning everyone other than Chandra into a villain - including Chanakya!

Ahh our lovely Nandni saved Chandra's life, despite her Dad imprisoning him she still did right by him and helped him to escape, and thus begins the blossoming of their love story.

No. those days they had owls, pigeons, parrots, squirrels, eagles and falcons also as messenger birds. In animals Dogs, Monkeys were a favourite. Wolf dogs were trained as hunting messenger animals, while Eagles were trained as hunting Messenger Birds. Everybody had a different pet whom they trained to their liking. Even elephant was a pet for that matter.

I feel so bad for the nurse and her son they died for Magadh
this reminded me of the old lady and her 5 sons who died
in the house of lac instead of the pandavas but that was different
there those people were actually killed in their sleep in the fire
So Moora sent message to both the spy and the nurse for the same thing
and the nurse got the message first
so what will the spy do now that Dev is already safe in the place
by the way this was quite common in those days right ?
nurses and their sons dying to save the baby prince and the kingdom
I had read a similar incident about Panna Bai and Uday Singh
she also had killed her own son to save Uday Singh

You're spot on. Panna was my inspiration for the wet nurse character. But Mahabharata analogy is superb!
Moora had made a twin-escape plan for Dev, just the way she made a twin-escape plan for herself.
She knew she would be murdered by Nand on that night, so she took extra care to save Dev, the Future King.

I can't believe how she still kept her cool with that scum
I would have kicked him with my chappal then and there

😆 Me too !

So Avantika standing outside theroom was also a plan
It was not a mere coincidence but a part of the conspiracy
Nand had kept 2 options for the proposal to Moora
chit bhi uska pat bhi uska a real shrewd player
Of course Nand had planned her death as well
she was clever enough to understand it

I got this twin-escape plan idea [for both Dev and Moora] through your feedback in the previous chapter. So, the credit goes to YOU darlng.

Good that Moora took precautions while escaping

He thought he was coming to meet his sister, whose kingdom he was managing when she became a widow. So he thought it was safe. He did not know that there was a snake Nand waiting to bite him. He really died an undeserving death.

Nand is a scum so can't be trusted at all with anything
So Nand had estimated that Moora will try to escape
and he knew she can use the other route too right ?
I assume his men saw Moora's face when they attacked her
so they knew the other one was an imposter

Impostors are like look-alike of the royal member. So, Nand's men did not know who they were killing. So, according to each group, they killed the Queen. Thats why Nand was searching for any trace of Moora and survival of her second child.

What Nand did he needs to live a long life now
and suffer every day and beg for death but not get it
wow even the dacoits had some humanity that Nand lacked
you know in Bengali also we have some famous story of dacoits
who are helpful generous and have done good deeds
the dacoits were clever to dress another woman as Moora
and put her jewels on the corpse and make the face beyond recognition

Really? Share them with me too. Perhaps, that would give me some idea for another story. As you know, each of my story, my heroine is gentle by nature but stronger by character. Nandini, Devdasi, Chandni, Vrushali - all were different era women with strong characteristics. Perhaps, i could write something on a life of a dacoit woman next ?
Dacoits those days were basically the people who were in exile from a particular kingdom, those who revolt against a tyrant king like Robin Hood for example... worst kind of a dacoit who kill for a living and burglary is Sholay type villain dacoits - who emerged due to necessity of food and starving and money - specifically during British rule.

Fate some how balanced the nurse and her dead son with Moora second child
she had Chandra and now this child from the other lady
But I feel bad for the child who was born dead and killed cruelly in the womb

Fate balanced ? How? I dint get your point dear.
I wanted to highlight Nand's extreme cruelty of killing even a pregnant woman, and the exact opposite of the dacoits' kindness towards the same woman. I
I also wanted to highlight how Moora was so simple, despite becoming a Queen from a dancer, she stuck to her promise given to her impostor by saving her child under the rock - even she herself was stabbed.

I really admire the dacoits they helped Moora so much
and kept her with them and cared for her like their own
Of course Nand did not expect Moora to join the dacoits

Virus emerges from unexpected places no? 😆 Both Dev and Moora were right under his nose, and yet, he could not see!

so this was a great advantage for him over the men
So Dev was a modern Mowgli that is cute I think
I assume he was like Krish without the super natural powers

Yes ! I imagined Tarzan when i wrote him to be a boy from the jungle 😳

OK so the dance master also had heard the rumors
and had assumed that Moora was dead right ?

Yes. Dev reaching the Dance Master itself is an emergency plan. That means King and Queen are in danger themselves.
The minute Nand and Avantika became King and Queen and administration changed, it was an open secret that Surya and Moora are dead. So, the dance master kept Dev with him.

Of course he was not interested in all that right now
he wanted to enjoy his free life and live it to the fullest
the dance master's words must have sounded too heavy for him
no one at that age likes to hear things like that
kids that age want to play have fun enjoy life do all wild things

Yes! Its like when we are kids, Mom used to teach us Vakradunta Mahakaya and we all used to blabber... It was easy to by-heart at that age. Even if we get the words right, you would never understand what the heck she is teaching us for and its importance. But we all learnt.
Here, Dev was the future king and his parents are dead. So Dance Master has to keep reminding him that he was born for bigger things in life. Obviously, the kid was playful but never understood the seriousness of the situation, until the Master died.

I am sure that brahmin is Chanakya
he must have realized that he is a prince in disguise
his old experienced eyes miss nothing and he must have got the signs

Yes. But chanakya saw the potential of a King in him. He didn't know about Chandra until he met Moora. Even Chandra did not know until he met his mother.

wow I admire his quick decision to aim at that python
he did not want Acharya to die and so wanted to protect him
how I wish the python had swallowed all Nand's men then]
It was wise of the dance master to hide Acharya and Dev

she could not trust Nandini so easily after all that had happened
I can understand her dilemma very well in this matter
she is scarred for life from her past experience
she needs some time to understand the whole situation here

All her sirens alarmed when she saw Avantika back in the Palace ! Her tragedy, her loss, her pain and prayers for 15 years - the entire nightmare came rushing back to her. I pity her. Still I would say that she handled it well and asked the right questions to chakku.

so when Nand knew he was Chandra he wanted to kill him
he was scared that he can revenge the death of his parents murder
he purposely lied to Nandini ; as it is he is a pathological liar

No, Nand did not know that Chandra is Moora's son at all. Just like Avantika did not know till she saw herself.
He had killed sooo many people, so many kings of the neighbouring kingdoms and so many women raped - that he knew he will have many such enemies waiting to take revenge on him.
So, he just made it up. He lied to Nandini . YES, ON PURPOSE... because he does not want to let her go.

wow so now Nandini's instincts made her trust Chandra over Nand
that is indeed a very good sign that for a first time she trusted a stranger
she is feeling guilty for the consequences of her decision and action
so she took the responsibility to take him out from there herself

Yes, she applied her mind over her heart for her father. That was the first sign of doom for Nand. That she trusted a stranger's integrity over her father's sweet lies.
Her guilt of killing an innocent made her plan his escape.

wow this is quite a thrilling part from the mixing sleeping medicine in the food
I smiled reading when she pointed to her own room sub consciously
this is such an adventurous part - a princess rescuing a prince

Me too, when I imagined it while i was writing ... 😳 We all make such mistakes in haste na? It was kinda cute.

uff his anger is just too charming ; he had conflicting emotions about her
even in his weak state he is trying to fight her and show his anger

I wanted to have a start of lovers tiff... and this was the most available opportunity with their distance, and time they would get together...

but she is not much bothered for his anger but for his wounds only
a true wife in the prefect sense taking care of her wounded husband

Oh, this didnt occur to me at all ! yes, now that you mention it, I could see the magnetism in it.

uff Chandra really has an ego higher than him I am sure
if she can't marry him he too can't marry her

Lovers tit for tat replies ... Nothing to worry 😳
For him, he was a commoner and she was a princess at that time. So, when she says this marraige cant happen, she is worried about his survival.. for him, it hurts his inferiority complex that she is rejecting him for being a commoner...

he could not have taken her hostage in this state
he was too weak for that but it is an attractive thought
she was only concerned about taking him to safety
ahh what a romantic posture that way they are sitting
is there any such pic available from the show ?

No, dearie. That was my imagination - him poisoned and she rescuing him. Princess rescuing a Prince was something different to the typical Prince rescuing a damsel in distress. Which anyway Chandra will do now...
So, I wanted to bring in a balance to both their characters and similarities in their souls and actions.

good that he told her where he was staying some how
the dacoits thought Chandra had kidnapped her
in a way it was the other way round she had kidnapped him
had never heard of rakshas vivah earlier though

Today, Lovers elope and get married without their parents approval. Same thing. Prithviraj and Samyukta for example.
However, at times, men kidnapped women against their wishes for ravishing their bodies, much like today's rape and then sometimes they married - that does not fall under Rakshas Vivah category.
Rakshas Vivaha primarily should have consent of the couple, where their parents dont agree.

of course Moora and Sujan were surprised to see her carry Chandra
that too at such a time in the night in that place
even in that state he is concerned about he pain for his weight
they are really behaving like a proper couple
I am sure Moora was watching her and Chandra
and in her mind was putting 2 and 2 together
mothers' instinct work actively in such situations
even the others were surprised at this

She did !!!! 😳
