@BOLD - As Acharya said, when he was overthrown by Nand and was mentally weak, Parvatak had offered him help. He had helped Chanakya build a Gurukul in his kingdom border - through which he educated Malay, Chandra and others. This way, he is much like Drona, who feels trapped like Drona (who was bound to Hastinapur) ... even Nandini is like that (she feels indebted because her Maasi spent time in bringing her up after her mom died)

Why will Parvatak not wage a war against Chandra until Malay marries Nandini ?
Parvatak wants to hurry the marriage so that he can fulfill his barbaric lust ?
It was discussed in Nandini-Lopa chapter. Malay is impotent. he is already of marriageable age. So parvatak has to get him married FAST, to get a heir through his wife... If malay wages war with chandra, he will get killed. He doesn't want his son to die before his grandson comes out to run his kingdom.
But now, if chandra marries Nandini, obviously Parvatak will move on to another kingdom searching for another princess victim. So, Chanakya says we need to keep an eye on which kingdom he is going to ally with.
As once Malay marries Nandini Chandra can never save her from her fate ?
Honestly, I dint look at it from this angle. Its a very good angle, Priya. Its a good revenge against Chandra.
And Malay and Parvatak know that Chandra Nandini have feelings for each other ?
Ofcourse... Malay knows. Chandra kidnapped her from his marriage hall, didn't he? He even taunted her dreaming about Chandra - in his chapter - and about Chandra touching her all over...
Parvatak... i actually did not think about him at that time... Now that you asked it, I think if the son and father both are lecherous minded, they would definitely share such information about Nandini no? I mean both want Nandini and Magadh. And Chandra is Malay's enemy and Magadh King.
I really hope no one allies their kingdom with them

Its much like the Rescue Teams we have today (for reference).. acutally i should say, we learnt from our ancestors 😛
Those days, women get married between village to another vilalge, kingdom to another kingdom. And those days, relationships mattered and relatives list is HUGEEE... These spies will go and install themselves in the other kingdoms. They will go and stay in their relatives house, tell them that they are trying to start some business, or searching for work etc. Relatives will help using their good office in the Government (forts, palaces, minister houses, merchant houses, people of powerful positions like Dancers, Courtesans etc...)
They will gather information and secretly pass it regularly to their home kingdom. If need be, they will kill someone to escape or to rescue the hostage. The hostage in this case, could be the imprisoned king or prince also.
These people were paid more than the normal govt pay - coz they are risking their lives living in another kingdom, leaving their family and hometown, for being loyal towards their King.
This will save all the doctors from Asur , help them to spread the truth and incite Malay
Why does Acharya want to avoid a war now ? Chandra can finish Malay once and for all then ?
This war is primarily done for rescuing Nand. And C&C want to rescue Nandini first and End the current war .
Second : Just like Nandini said, Malay should initiate fight with him. Then Parvatak wont be able to blame Magadh, or begin war with him.
Also Acharya feels Malay will step out and challenge him i.e the Acharya ?
