Kripa was dressed up for the college wearing the same jacket Angad gifted her, she saw herself in the mirror and smiled.
She reached the college and made her way to the class. She found Angad and josh standing there chatting.
She went to Angad and smiled…Angad smiled back, he felt really happy to see her dressed in that jacket…she luked awsum.
She spoke up "thanx Angad… I really liked it."
Josh eyes widened on hearing it.
"Don't even mention it. I did it completely for my pleasure" Angad said smiling. He meant it.
Kripa smiled and went out of the class.
Angad saw josh smiling wickedly and asked him reason for it while punching him a little in stomach.
" yaar yeh wrong no. kaise lag gaya" josh asked wid a grin.
"wat do u mean?"
" what I mean is that in ur tries to hook Nisha , how come u actually fell for kripa?"
"wat rubbish r u talking abt, its nothing like that"
"oh so u go around gifting every second girl" josh teased him.
" well its just that…." Angad cudn't think of any of the excuses. But he knew he has to come up wid one to make josh keep his big mouth shut abt his idiotic ideas and conceptions. After all he has a reputation to protect.
" yeah man speak up" josh nudged again unable to keep humor out of his voice.
" well its all bcoz I want to get Nisha and I gifted kripa the jacket she liked to impress her and to make kripa feel that I really think of her as a frend" Angad said sarcastically laughing. That was gud he thought.
Josh widened his eyes. "Man Angad, u certainly have got sumthing in there" josh laughed out while pointing at Angad's head.
They were busy laughing wen Angad felt some ones gaze at him… he turned his head to door and froze on seeing kripa standing there.
He cud clearly see the hurt expressions on her face and tears welled up in her eyes.
"Kripa…" Angad uttered.
Kripa turned back and started walking away hastily. Angad pushed josh aside and ran after kripa.
She felt used, betrayed, hurt… she came back to ask Angad how he came to know that she liked that coat. She was on the door when she heard them talking abt her and stopped to hear… only to witness these two ppl mocking her, making fun of her life, her emotions.
Kripa quickly removed her spects to rub off her tears ignoring shouting Angad, demanding her to stop.
Angad ran to her and pleaded her to listen to him.
"Just listen to me once kripa"
Kripa continued walking.
"Please kripa stop"
She ignored him once again.
Angad caught kripa's wrist and swirled her around to face him. He holded her wrist tightly not letting it go, while kripa kept struggling.
"kripa please listen to me once , u r getting it all wrong" Angad pleaded.
"Angad please leave my hand and don't create a scene" kripa said with anger but in low voice.
"No kripa I won't…first listen to me, it wasn't my mistake"
Kripa jerked her hand out of Angad's grip.
"Yes Angad u r right…It wasn't ur mistake, it was my mistake to trust u , it was my mistake that I thought u as a friend, as a….forget it Angad" kripa tried to hold her tears back and continued
"I was such an idiot to even think that someone wud like to befriend a girl like me" she let out a small sad laugh.
"Please kripa don't say this…everyone likes u…I like u…just let me explain kripa…once" Angad said softly.
"No Angad…u r lying…I know u r" she said moving back as she turned away and ran out of college campus.
Angad stood there in shock and guilt as he saw kripa running out and hiring a taxi.
The prof was blabbing out something from past 50 min, out of which Angad was not able to get even one single word in his head, his eyes were constantly glued to the door, every time he tried to concentrate the teary eyes of kripa flashed b4 his eyes. Every one in the class was wondering abt kripa as she never missed any class…so how come today!! Nisha was sitting cracking fingers worrying abt kripa.
But Angad was sitting in guilt oblivious of anything else except 4 kripa.
Finally the class ended and professor walked out followed by students one by one. Everyone moved out except for Angad. He started collecting his books wid a heavy heart…but suddenly startled as he felt some one entering the room.
He turned around, rather nervously…as if sensing who it was. He went numb as he saw kripa approaching him with a stern look on her face…she was dressed in her t and denims and not in the coat he gifted and, it sort of hurt him. Angad stood there near his table as kripa approached him, nervous at wat was cuming nxt.
She came near him and smacked a packet on the table and said in a calm but stern voice "here is ur gift…I don't think it serves ur purpose anymore" she turns to go back leaving Angad stunned and immensely hurt. He holds kripa's arm while looking down at the packet "plz kripa take it"
"why shud I take it, Mr.khanna? mujhe khairat lene ka koi shauk nahi hai"
Angad gets angry at this and pulls kripa towards him and pushes her towards his table placing his hands on either side of kripa on the table such that kripa is locked b/w his arms, his body and the table.
"Listen to me once, goddammit ."
"Leave me Angad" kripa said while struggling to get out.
"I wont leave u till I am done with wat I want to say" Angad said in an angry manner.
Kripa smiled sarcastically at this and stared directly into his eyes "I know wat u want to say Angad"
" u know!!" Angad said widening his eyes.
" yeah I do…don't worry Angad I wont tell Nisha wat u did to me…I am not that sort of girl who goes around bitching against those who hurt her…that's wat u wanted to sat rite" kripa said with sarcasm in her voice and tears in her eyes.
Angad, too shocked to react, suddenly loosened his arms allowing kripa to push him aside and run away.
Angad stood there as tears rolled down his cheeks … he murmured under his breath "I never knew u thought so low of me kripa…I thought u understand me lot better…but I was wrong kripa….so terribly wrong"
So that was part…longest till date…was it anything u expected. Sorry if I disappointed u. But it was important after all "duriyaan badne se pyar badta hai" rite!!! omg…I am no more a sweet sixteen!!!!!😆
