Naina is now totally trapped between the Jeep and Rajveer. She has no way out, no more escape. Her eyes are cascaded downwards while Rajveer is staring at her constantly and intensity. Both of their heartbeat picks up pace after what just happened few minutes ago.
"Cadet Singh"
says Rajveer, sternly
His stern voice makes Naina's heart to skip a beat and because of the fact that he called her "Cadet Singh" instead of "Naina". Nervously and hesitantly, Naina looks up in his eyes, they lock eyes immediately.
Naina gets surprised as she sees anger taking place in his eyes, instead of love. What could be the reason for that? Did she do something wrong? What happened suddenly? Did she cross her limits.
"yes...yes sir?"
asks Naina, stammering
He looks in her eyes intensely and his constant gaze succeeds in making her cheeks to turn red. Naina wonders what happened suddenly that he is acting like that? He keeps gazing at her for couple of seconds with serious expressions. After awhile. he removes his hands from the jeep door and takes a step back. With his eyes, he warns her not to move an inch from here.
"Ye kya harkat thi Cadet Naina Singh Aaluwalia?"
he asks her, sternly
Naina's heartbeat picks up pace as he utters each word. Her cheeks starts burning. She is not able to digest what he just said. Why is he saying this? Is this what he didn't want? Not just her cheeks, her whole face turns hot red, out of fear and nervousness.
"sir aap ye kya keh rahe hain?"
she questions him back
Naina's voice reflects her guilt, fear, and anxiousness. Now, she feels guilty for taking such a bold action.
"Tumhe achi tarah pata hai ke mein kya keh raha hoon Cadet Singh. Tum aisa kaise kar sakti ho? wo bhi apne teacher, apne senior and apne mentor ke sath?"
says Rajveer, looking intensely in her eyes.
Naina has had enough. She is not enough to bear this anymore. How can he even say this? Did she really do something wrong? Not wanting to face him anymore, she decides to go from there.
"mujhe ab iss baray mein koi baat nahi karni"
informs Naina, sternly
Her feelings cannot be described in words at the moment. She is not feeling guilty for what she did, but she is feeling guilty because of the fact that Rajveer is blaming her and thinking that she crossed her limits. She has had enough now. Fine, if he does not want all this, she will leave, not just from here, but she will leave from KMA and she will go away from his life.
As anger builds up inside her, she moves to take a step away from him. At that moment, she wants to stay there and tell him about her feelings but she is afraid, afraid of getting rejected, so she decides to leave from there.
Before she can go away, Rajveer grabs her by her left wrist and pulls her towards him as he twists her left arm behind her back. His grip is firm, not too strong that it will hurt her, but firm to keep her close to him.
"lekin mujhe karni hai"
declares Rajveer
Rajveer's dominant behaviour skips Naina's heartbeat. on one hand, he is confronting her and on the other hand. he is showing his right on her. What does he want? Can't he express his feelings, just once?
Rajveer finds Naina's eyes cascaded downwards and anger is evident on her face as she tries to get out of his grip.
"Meri aankhon mein dekho Naina"
he orders her
Not wanting to follow his orders, she stands in her position and does not move an inch. She makes no effort to look in his eyes. This succeeds in reaching Rajveer's anger. With his other hand's index finger, he puts it under Naina's chin and forces her to look in his eyes.
"Tumne mere sawaal ka jawab nahi dia Naina"
he reminds her
Naina gets confused and gives him a questioning look while she tries to get out of his grip, but fails miserably.
"Kon sa sawal?"
she questions him, sternly
Oh, so, she forgot now. He pulls her a little closer as his anger reaches to another level.
"yehi ke tumhe meri feelings se kyun farak padta hai?"
asks Rajveer
This succeeds in making Naina's heart to skip a beat. Did he really ask this question? Even though she has not answered his question in words, but with her actions, she answered it perfectly. What else does he want?
She does not reply as she keeps staring in his eyes. She constantly tries her best to remove his hand from her wrist and get out of his hold. Rajveer feels what she is trying to do.
"koshish karne ka koi faida nahi, so, stop trying"
he warns her
Naina's heartbeat picks up pace at this comment. His warning makes her breath to hitch in her throat. Following his order, she stops trying to get out of his grip.
"mujhe jaane dijiye"
requests Naina, rather orders
Instead of letting her go, he makes no effort to loose his grip on her wrist.
"Jaane doonga...pehle mere sawal ka jawab do"
he orders
Naina has had enough with his behaviour.
"Jahan tak mujhe pata hai mein aapke sawal ka jawab de chuki hoon or Us ke baad mujhe nahi lagta ke mujhe aapko shabdoon mein batane ki zaroorat hai"
she replies, raising her voice a little
Oh hell no Naina. You will answer Rajveer, that too in words. He will not let this go so easily.
"MAINE POOCHA KYA FARAK PADTA HAI TUMHE?"
he yells
This sudden yelling from Rajveer jerks Naina. Anger builds up inside her. There is no way she can take this anymore. Enough is enough. Her eyes starts blazing withe anger.
Somehow, she manages to push him off and takes a step back, to distance herself from him. Rajveer's heartbeat picks up pace as he gets shocked by Naina's sudden behaviour. He has not seen her this angry before. With her right hand's index finger, she points it towards him.
"aapko itni si baat nahi samajh aati ke mujhe kyun farak padta hai aapki feelings se? to suniye, PYAAR KARNE LAGI HOON MEIN AAPSE"
she yells, not realising what she just said
A huge and a wide smile creeps on Rajveer's lips. This is exactly what he wanted to hear. He made a strategy in his head earlier that he will make her confess first, by hook or by crook.
"Kya kaha tumne?"
asks Rajveer, smirking
Naina still does not realise that it was all Rajveer's plan.
"yehi ke mein aapse beinteeha mohobaat karne lagi hoon"
she repeats her words, yelling
Smirking Rajveer, takes a step towards her.
"phir se kehna...mujhe sunai nahi dia"
he says, smirking
This is when Naina realises that it was all Rajveer's plan. He said all that to build up her anger, so she will confess. WOW! He is surely an expert in making strategies. All her anger vanishes and her heart starts beating fast as she finds him coming closer, towards her. She moves her step backwards until her back hits the jeep again, lowering her eyes, blushing.
Something comes up in her mind and she decides to confront him about saying all that. Looking back, she looks in his eyes, angrily.
"iska...iska mathlab..ye..ye sab aapka..."
she utters, shocked
"plan tha!"
he completes her sentence
Moving her head from left to right to left, she looks at him, unable to digest.
"Aap..."
she starts saying but stops abruptly
She stops midway as Rajveer pulls her into his embrace. He moves his lips near her right ear and breathes leading Naina to shiver and her heart skips a beat.
"I LOVE YOU NAINA!"
he finally confesses
Naina's breath hitches in her throat as she finally hears those magical words that she has been dying to hear. She hugs him back with the same intensity.
"I LOVE YOU RAJVEER"
whispers Naina, in his ear.
The fact that she called him "Rajveer" for the first time, it makes his heart to skip a beat as he makes his grip tight around her waist.
Suddenly rain starts and the night becomes more intense and romantic as they stay like this in each other's warm embrace, smiling, never wanting to let go off of each other. Both are lost in each other to such an extent that they forget about their surroundings, they are just thinking about each other and their future together, as a couple!
