Part 16

Siddhant found only double bed was available in the room..

Other than that only chairs were available...

Siddhant; Oh God.. no sofa available in this room.. I too didn't notice while coming here... Let me check with them.. whether bigger room available with one more bed or sofa...

He went out to check in the reception... while Receptionist gave a weird look on his request...

But she confirmed.. no other rooms are vacant and this was only available as they pre booked...

Siddhant came back to room...

Siddhant; Roli.. no other room available.. ok.. let me sleep on the floor.. you sleep in the bed...

Roli: But why...

Siddhant looked at her what she mean...

Roli; I mean.. no need for sleeping on the floor..

Siddhant; Then...

Roli: You too sleep on the bed only...

Siddhant again gave sharp look to read her expression...

Roli: i mean.. you sleep that side.. i will sleep this side.. this bed is big enough i think...

Siddhant; But.. then how you will keep the pillows on your sides...

Roli realised he noticed her keeping pillows on the sides...

Roli; NO.. i think we can keep...

Roli kept a pillow in the middle and looked at Siddhant...

Roli; See.. still we got space to sleep...

Siddhant: You dont have any objection right...

Roli; No.. i dont have...

Siddhant went to one side while Roli lay down on her side...

Roli & Siddhant were looking at each other...

While Roli remembered the night of their marriage day where the bed was completely decorated with red roses and remembered Receptionist asking them whether they want decoration...

Roli with a blush looked at Siddhant...

Siddhant who kept his eyes closed felt like she is gazing at him...

He opened his eyes and expressed like 'what'...

Roli nod her head as 'nothing...'

Roli turned against Siddhant as she was unable to face him anymore...

Siddhant was wondering what happened to her...

He too turned against her & closed his eyes...

Roli as well as Siddhant slept in a while...

Alarm rang...

Siddhant wake up and looked at Roli who was sleeping hugging the pillow which was kept in the middle...

Siddhant admired Roli for a while...

But this is not the time to admire.. She is getting late...

Siddhant; Roli.. Roli...

Roli wake up and looked at Siddhant...

Siddhant; Get up.. fresh up & you revise the important points.. i will get you tea...

Roli went to wash room and returned to sit for revising the subjects...

While Siddhant returned room with tea cups...

Siddhant; Have this...

Roli & Siddhant had tea...

Even after having tea.. Siddhant noticed Roli gazing at him...

Siddhant took the tea cup from her...

Siddhant; Roli...

Roli; Hmm...

Siddhant; Roli... In couple of hours.. we need to start for your exam... remember its your ambition.. your aim.. this is the first step for moving towards that ambition... wish you do to your best possible... it doesn't mean.. you should take tension and start getting exam fear.. instead.. just visualize the aim of becoming police officer... To get it from imagination to real.. you should write this exam well.. you understand...

Roli realised the truth on his words...

Roli; Yes Siddhant...

Roli concentrated on the subject to revise it finally...

Siddhant got ready and told Roli to get ready too...

Roli & Siddhant started from room towards the exam center...

Siddhant was waiting outside looking at his laptop doing his works...

While Roli was writing her exams...

Roli came out with a big smile on her face...

Siddhant; How went the exam...

Roli; I did very well...

Siddhant; Good... Come lets go...

Further days of exams too went the same way...

Siddhant encouraged her to concentrate on her exams and do her best...

After completing all the exams of preliminary level...

Roli & Siddhant returned to village...

Part 17

Roli was at the peak of happiness...

Why not.. she gave the exams very well...

Now for further final exams.. time is there...

Moreover online course for the final exams are going to start only after 2 weeks...

Now Roli can relax herself for 2 more weeks very well...

But After that.. she is not even going to find time to think to relax...

As Final exams are not like preliminary exams..

its going to be tough.. also its score is very important for her to decide her fate... of her ambition...

Siddhant was getting ready for work...

Roli; Siddhant.. thank you...

Siddhant; Thanks for what...

Roli; Without your encouragement.. it might have not been possible to even give that preliminary test...

Siddhant smiled...

When Siddhant tried to go out of room... Roli rushed towards him...

Roli; Siddhant.. i never seen our fields.. i wish to see it...

Siddhant; No problem.. i will tell maaji to bring you to fields..

Roli; Ok...

Roli & Siddhant came out...

Siddhant; Maaji.. ROli wish to see our field... can you please bring her.. as i already got ready & she is yet to get ready.. otherwise i might have taken her...

Sujatha; No problem Siddhant.. i will bring her.. infact since long.. myself didn't came to field...

Siddhant had breakfast and went to work...

Roli with all excitement got ready...

Sujatha & Roli had their breakfast and started...

Sujatha noticed the excitement in Roli and smiled...

When they reached the field...

Roli noticed.. Siddhant was helping in running some equipment...

He kept the shirt removed as it may get dirty...

Due to hard work.. he was completely sweat...

After initiating the equipment he turned while Roli was already gazing at him...

Siddhant went near the shirt & towel which he kept...

He took the towel and wipe his sweaty body...

Then put the shirt and came near Roli & Sujatha...

Sujatha was watching around their fields... while...

Siddhant; Come ROli.. i will show you our field...

Siddhant took her around and showed till where they do farming...

It was very vast to the length of their eye reach...

Siddhant explained what all they cultivate in their field...

What all modern equipment they use to reduce the difficulties of man...

Roli was looking at everything surprised...

But while walking.. her jeans pant got dirty with mud...

When they return...

Siddhant; Roli.. come & wash your legs...

Siddhant took her to a pond like where they had water...

Siddhant: Wash your hands & legs...

Roli washed her muddy legs and hands...

Roli; You didn't wash...

Siddhant; No. .. before coming home..i will take bath...

Roli; You will take bath in this pond...

Siddhant; Yes i do... you go with maaji to home... i will return taking bath...

Roli moved from there and came back in search of Sujatha...

But Sujatha was not found around.. & Roli was not knowing where she can be...

Roli went back in search of Siddhant...

That is when Siddhant was taking bath keeping his shirt removed...

He was enjoying swimming inside the pond...

Roli smiled looking at Siddhant who was enjoying like a child...

Siddhant who turned to return saw Roli...

He rushed towards her side...

Siddhant; Roli.. what happened... you didn't go...

Roli; I cant locate maaji.. thats why i came back...

Siddhant; No problem.. i will take you...

Siddhant went another round inside the water and came out with wet pant...

He was completely wet and came near ROli...

He took the shirt which he kept there and started moving towards room like which was there...

Roli was finding difficult to look at wet Siddhant who was disturbing her a lot...

When they reached a room like place...

Siddhant; Roli.. wait here.. i will change and come...

It seems like Siddhant was having alternate dress there...

He went inside and came out changing to dry dress...

Siddhant; Come lets go...

When they return home.. Sujatha was preparing lunch...

Roli; Aunty.. you know i was searching for you...

Sujatha; No. i return in sometime as i need to prepare lunch.. i thought you are with Siddhant and will come with him during lunch...

Siddhant; Roli.. change your pant which is wet.. then we can have lunch...

Roli with a smile went inside and came back changing her pant...

All had lunch together...

While Roli was looking at Siddhant with corner of eyes which was noticed by Siddhant...

Siddhant raised his eyebrows like 'what'...

Roli nod her head as 'nothing...

Siddhant smiled...

Part 18

Roli & Siddhant came to their room after dinner...

Siddhant was about to go to sofa to sleep...

Roli remembered sharing the bed in the city...

Roli; Siddhant...

He stopped...

Roli: Are you going to sleep in the sofa...

Siddhant; yes of course...

Roli; But why cant you sleep in the bed itself...

Siddhant looked at Roli to understand what she mean...

Roli; I mean.. you were sleeping in the bed only in the hotel right.. then now why you need to sleep in the sofa...

Siddhant; But Roli.. in the hotel there was no sofa.. that is why we shared the bed.. here we got sofa right...

He took couple of steps towards sofa again...

Roli; But what is wrong in sharing the bed here too...

Siddhant; its ok... i am comfortable with the sofa.. so let me sleep here itself...

Siddhant went to sofa and lay down in the sofa...

Roli looked at Siddhant with upset face...

While he doesn't seems to be disturbed at all...

She took steps towards the bed and lay down in the bed...

She was not getting sleep... and was turning sides...

Roli: This man is a puzzle...

She murmured...

Siddhant; Roli.. did you told anything...

Roli; What... i didn't...

Siddhant; Ok.. i felt like you told something.. thats why i asked...

Roli: As if heard when told to sleep in the bed instead of sofa...

Again she murmured...

Siddhant; Roli...

Roli: no.. i didn't tell anything...

Siddhant; Ok...

Roli: Why cant he understand.. i am used to his closeness now...

Again same murmuring...

Siddhant; Roli..

Roli; Oh God.. i didn't anything.. ok.. Good night...

Siddhant; Good night...

Siddhant said and turned against her...

Siddhant smiled...

Roli was unable to even express anything through words..

Nor was able to accept this distance between them...

its fact that the pillow was beside them.. so what.. she used to admire him till she fall asleep...

Now he is sleeping so far that it is not becoming possible...

But not sure.. how he hears when she murmur...

It seems he got sharp ears... to listen from such distance...

Or its Roli talking loudly thinking as murmuring...

Not sure.. what is the truth...

But Its fact that he steal Roli sleep for sure...

After trying very hard... Roli sat on the bed and looked around...

The pillow which was kept by Roli beside her was giving irritation now...

She took the pillow and throw it on the floor...

She took some water and drink a little...

She looked at Siddhant who was sleeping peacefully...

Roli got up and went near the window...

She looked at the sky where full moon was seen beautifully...

Roli tried to admire that beautiful moon...

But not for so long...

Siddhant with a smile came in the moon and made Roli to blush...

She looked at Siddhant who was still on deep sleep without understanding the storm he created inside her...

After a while... Roli went back to the bed...

She closed her eyes while he was only disturbing her for long...

After much difficulty Roli started sleeping nearing the dawn...

Part 19

Siddhant wake up and looked at Roli...

She was not sleeping hugging the pillow today unlike other days...

He got up and saw the pillow thrown on the floor...

Siddhant with a smile went near that and took the pillow...

He went near her and kept beside Roli...

He took her hand and wrapped on the pillow...

Roli hug the pillow tightly even in that deep sleep...

Siddhant admired Roli for a while and went to fresh up...

Roli didn't got up today as she slept very late...

Siddhant had breakfast and went to work...

Roli got up and looked around for him...

But he was missing...

Roli fresh up swiftly and came out...

She rushed towards Sujatha...

Roli: Aunty... Siddhant went to work...

Sujatha; Yes.. he went to work already...

Roli showed upset face which was noticed by Sujatha...

Roli went back to the room and was walking here & there...

But she was feeling bored...

She think for a while and got idea...

She came out and rushed towards Sujatha...

Roli; AUnty...

Sujatha; Yes Roli...

Roli; Aunty... shall i cook today...

Sujatha; But Roli.. do you know to cook...

Roli; As such i dont know.. but wont you teach me...

Sujatha; of course i will.. come...

Roli with excitement went near her...

Sujatha strated teaching how to cook...

It was not easy for Roli to do it...

She tied her hair which was disturbing her while cooking...

She was sweating a lot... in the heat of kitchen...

Roli: Aunty.. how you cook daily...

Sujatha; We will get used to once we start doing it...

Roli; Thats right...

With all guidance of Sujatha... Roli finished preparing food...

Sujatha; Its done...

Roli: Aunty.. please dont tell Siddhant that i cook today...

Sujatha; But why???

Roli: I want to see what comments he give... whether he likes or not...

Sujatha: Ok.. as you wish...

Roli: Aunty.. let me fresh up.. i am feeling sweaty...

Roli went inside to take bath...

When she came out changing dress...

That is when Siddhant too entered into house...

Sujatha kept plates for all...

All started having lunch...

Siddhant who had couple of times looked at Sujatha...

Siddhant; Maaji... There is some difference in the cooking today...

Roli expressed not to telll anything...

Sujatha; What is the difference you found...

Siddhant: taste is all the same.. but i dont know why.. some difference is there for sure...

Sujatha; Well... today.. instead of blend of motherly affection.. you might have got blend of wife love...

Siddhant; What??? do you mean...

Siddhant looked at Roli...

Sujatha; Yes.. Roli only cooked today...

Siddhant; Oh ok...

Roli was thinking.. what this 'oh ok' means... you know how hard it was to cook...

For whom i did all these.. while you are just expressionless Siddhant...

Seeing her expressions.. Siddhant smiled as if he read her mind...

Roli was thinking.. this smile only.. this smile only kills me...

But you pretend as if you are not at all disturbed right...

Let it be.. lets see...

She was blabbering inside..

Siddhant; Roli.. have food...

He reminded her...

Roli: Sure...

She gave a weird expression and continued having food...

When they came back to their room...

ROli was unable to hold her from asking Siddhant...

Roli: Siddhant.. did you like my cooking...

Siddhant; Of course.. yes...

Roli: Then why you didn't express anything...

Siddhant; I didn't gave any negative comment too...

Roli; But neither positve...

Siddhant; Roli... leave that.. shall i tell you something...

Roli; What...

Siddhant; Its just 10 days now.. then you need to start studying very hard.. your classes will be started... leave all these which can be taken care at any time.. instead its time to work for your aim.. ok...

Roli: Ok...

Siddhant: But why this ok is with no expression...

Roli artificially smiled...

ROli; Ok...

Siddhant; Earlier one was better...

He commented and started from there...

While ROli smiled...

After he left...

Roli; in 10 days.. i need to work hard.. dont i know that... i just got 10 days Siddhant to do whatever i wish for.. but where you are understanding..

Roli took a deep breathe...

Part 20

Roli wake up early as she was not getting sleep...

She looked at Siddhant who was sleeping in the sofa...

Its first time in all these days that she got up before him...

Roli with a smile went to wardrobe... She looked at her pant & shirts...

But she was not feeling like wearing any of these...

Her eyes moved towards Saree...

She took one of the saree and went to take bath...

She took shower nicely and wrapped the towel on her wet hair...

She wear the saree and came out towards the mirror...

She looked at Siddhant who was still sleeping...

She swiftly dry her hair and put a clip on her hair...

She kept Sindoor on her forehead with a smile...

She looked at herself in the mirror once...

Then moved towards Siddhant who was sleeping in the sofa...

Roli slowly forward his hand to hold his shoulder...

Roli; Siddhant.. Siddhant...

Siddhant wake up & looked at Roli...

He was surprised...

Roli; Siddhant... good morning...

She greet him with a smile...

He look at the hand which was on his shoulder while Roli swiftly took her hand with a blush...

Siddhant; Did i slept so long...

He got doubt as Roli got ready while he was still sleeping...

Roli; No.. no.. i wake up early today...

Siddhant; Oh ok...

he sat on the sofa...

Roli; Siddhant.. fresh up and come.. i will bring tea...

Siddhant with a surprised expression went to fresh up...

Roli fold the blanket and went to kitchen to prepare tea...

She came back with tea cups when Siddhant was sitting in the sofa...

Siddhant; Roli.. Check for the sun rise...

Roli: What to check???

Siddhant; whether it is rising in the east only or in the west...

He tease her...

Roli; Siddhant.. you are trying to tease me...

Siddhant; Then what.. what happened to you..

Roli: What happened???

Siddhant: You know.. when i wake up.. i thought someone else came inside my room...

Roli: Someone else...

Siddhant; Yes... As normally i am seeing you in pant shirt... today if i suddenly see you in saree.. then its obvious right that i thought some other girl entered into my room or i went to someone else room...

Roli; Siddhant...

Siddhant laughed...

Roli: Why.. cant i wear saree...

Siddhant; Not that... if its your usual.. then it was different.. now if you suddenly wear.. then i will think like that only right...

Roli; Ok ok.. no need to tease more to stress that i am not wearing saree regularly...

Siddhant; When i said like that.. i only told you are wearing Pant & Shirt usually...

Roli; Siddhant...

Siddhant; Ok ok.. let me take bath...

Siddhant rushed to take bath and was getting ready combing his hair...

Roli went near him...

Roli; Siddhant...

Siddhant; Hmm...

Roli; Will you take me to temple...

Siddhant; But Roli.. when you dont know the route you went yourself.. now you know the route also right...

Roli; Then.. wont you take me...

Siddhant; Not that...

Roli; Then what.. please...

Siddhant; Ok...

Roli & Siddhant came out of the room...

Sujatha was surprised seeing Roli in saree...

Roli rushed towards Sujatha...

Roli; Maaji.. bless me...

She touch her feet...

Sujatha was surprised too as she used to call her Aunty.. not as Maaji...

When she was stunned seeing Roli...

Roli; Maaji.. i wish to go to temple with my husband.. can i...

Again it was surprising Sujatha.. as its not Roli regular to ask permission...

Its used to be in informative way...

Moreover.. my husband.. she used to call him Siddhant in every sentence...

Sujatha; Sure Roli...

Roli & Siddhant started towards temple...

When they reached temple... Priest performed prayer and gave Sindoor and flower to Siddhant...

Roli showed her hair to keep the flower...

Siddhant with a smile kept the flower on her hair...

Then filled the sindoor on her forehead...

Roli prayed to God to bless them to live happily...

Roli & Siddhant went around the temple and return home...

Siddhant went to work while Roli went to kitchen to start cooking...
