She woke up with a jerk. Her body all covered with sweats. All the moments that she has spent with him started flashing through her mind. Tears were visible in her eyes thinking about the horrible incident that took place three years ago.

She sat up on her bed. Reaching the lamp on her side table, she turned on the light. Taking the jug from the side table, she poured some water for herself to drink. Wiping her tears from her cheeks, she slowing drank some water.

After few minutes, she was much relaxed. Getting up from her bed, she walked towards the window. She felt even more relaxed when the cool breeze of air touched her face.

She shut her eyes tightly and again, all the scenes started flashing through her mind.

She opened her eyes immediately and thought, "Kyun aapki yaadein mera peecha nahi choorti? Inh teen saloon mein ek bhi pal aisa nahi gayya jab aapki yaadoon ne mujhe sataya na ho. Kyun aapki yaadein mujhe meri zindagi jeene nahi deti? Kyun aap mera peecha nahi choortay? Itnay bade dhokay ke baad bhi kyun mujhe aap ki yaad har pal satati hai?"

"MAMA!!!!!"

Her thoughts are broken by a sweet voice. Hearing that voice, a bright smile immediately appeared on her face.

She turned around smiling and found her little angel! Yes, her little angel, her daughter, her reason to live, her Payal!

She walked towards her Payal. Kneeling down on her knees, she hugged her little angel and asked, "aa gayi meri princess? Meri princess ko aagayi apni mama ki yaad?"

Little Payal smiled and replied in her sweet voice, "payal ko toh apni mama ki hamesha yaad aati hai."

Listening to those big words from her little angel, she immediately placed a sweet kiss on Payal's cheeks.

Their sweet talks were interrupted by a knock on the door. They both turned around and found a figure standing near the door.

"Agar meri Princess Payal or uski sweet Naina mama ki sweet sweet baatein khatam ho gayi hoon toh neechay chale? Dinner ready hai!", the figure said with a smile.

A bright smiled appeared on Naina's face hearing those words and she replied, "G Shalini Bhabhi mein or meri princess abhi aatay hain! Naveen bhaiyya aa gaye wapis kaam se?"

"Haan Naina! Naveen aa gaye hain or aap dono ko dinner table pe wait kar rahe hain. Unhe tum se kuch baat karni hai, jaldi aao neechay!", said Shalini

"G bhabhi aap chaliye hum abhi aatay hain", says Naina and Shalini leaves.

Yes, Naveen and Shalini have gotten married three years ago. Naina and Payal are living with them for the past three years as they moved to Canada after the horrible incident that took place three years ago. Naina took leave for three years from her work and decided to spend it in Canada with her little angel, Payal!

Dinner table -

Naina, Payal, Naveen and Shalini are sitting on the dinner table having their dinner. There is silence for the first 15 minutes, but, Naveen decides to break the silence.

"To kya soocha hai tunay Naina?", asked Naveen

This comes as a surprise for Naina, putting the spoon down that was in her hand, she replies, "kis baray mein Bhaiyya?"

"Tujhay achi tarah se pata hai mein kis baray mein baat kar raha hoon. Kya soocha hai tunay? Tu wapis jayegi India?", says Naveen immediately.

"India? Kyun Naina tum wapis kyun ja rahi ho?", asks Shalini out of confusion

"Shalini, Naina ko wapis apni duty join karni hogi. Ussay ek bohut important mission ke liye bulaya hai. Wase bhi uski leave ke 3 saal khatam ho gayye hain so, she has to go back.", replies Naveen.

"Wase mission kya hai Naina?". Asks Shalini

"Pata nahi Bhabhi, wo toh India ja ke hi pata chalega..", replies Naina.

Getting worried, Shalini asks, "lekin Naina tu sach mein wapis India jana chahti hai? I mean tujhay pata hai na India mein wo bhi hoga. Shayada tum dono ko aamna samna phir se ho jaye...or Payal?"

"please Bhabhi!! Zaroori nahi hai ke hum dono ka phir se aamna samna ho. Wase bhi mujhe NDA mein posted kya gaya hai, so I am sure wo wahan nahi hoonge so, it is not possible. Rahi baat Payal ki toh wo bhi mere sath hi jayegi", replies Naina

"Nahi...Mujhe Mami Mamo ko chood ke kahin nahi jana...please Mama!!", yells a little Payal.

"Haan Naina, please Payal ko yahin chood jao..hamara Payal ke bagair dil nahi lagay ga", says Shalini

"Haan Naina, Please!", requests Naveen

"Bhaiya, Bhabhi, Please!", says Naina getting a bit frustrated, "aap dono ko pata hai ke Payal mein meri jaan basti hai, mein apni beti ke bagair nahi reh sakti."

His thoughts are broken by the ringing of the phone. Tears are visible in his eyes. Wiping his tears, he immediately picks up the phone and in a very heavy voice, says , "Hello!"

"Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, Bunty Choobay aapse milne aaya hai..kya mein ussay andar bheejh doon?", says the person on the other side of the phone.

"Yes, send him in", orders Rajveer and then puts the phone down.

Few minutes later, a knock is heard on the door of Rajveer's office.

"Come in!", Rajveer orders

Choobay comes him and salutes Rajveer.

"Bolo choobay...kaam hua?", asks Rajveer

"yes sir, sari information mil gayyi hai..wo 1 week mein wapis India aa rahi hai. Us ki posting NDA mein hui hai . She is appointed as a drill commandant and as an under cover officer on special mission.", informs Choobay

"kaisa mission?", asks Rajveer

"Pata nahi sir...ye information abhi mil nahi saki hai..", replies Choobay.

A frustrated Rajveer punches the table with his fist and yells, "tumse koi kaam theek se hota bhi hai?", now being a little calm, "okay try to find out as soon as possible and mein kal hi apne seniors se baat karta hoon NDA mein posting ke liye. NOW LEAVE!"

A scared Choobay walks out of Rajveer's cabin.

Yes, a lot has changed in the past three years. Rajveer has became an angry young man who does not care about anyone's emotions. He has temper problems and he is known for his strictness and rude behaviour.

Walking up to his chair, Rajveer takes a seat and thinks, "ab meri zindagi ka ek hi maksad hai Naina, or wo hai tumhari barbaadi..."

Dil jala hoon bohat mein
saari dunya jala doon
uski raahon ki saari
roshni mein bujha do

"Jo tumne mere sath kia hai, us ke baad mein tumhara jeena haram kar doonga"

mujhko chahe zamana
auro se ye dil chahe
mujhko thukra ke kaise
chain se woh reh paye

"Jald hi Mulakaat ho gi NDA mein, Capt Naina Singh Aaluwalia, tayyar rehna...tumhare buray din shuru ho gayye hain..", Rajveer smirks
