For me, i think Arnav is the flame and Khushi is the moth.

Arnav is the control freak yet madly in love with khushi. his love is intense as a flame.

while khushi is the one who bears all and despite knowing that she might be burned by the flame, she will circle the flame.

both are hurt by each other but will always co-exist together

this line is really apt. 4 this story.
just like "Nafrat pass aane na de Mohabbat door jaane na de"

When he used to hate her he himself destroyed her, when he started loving her, he wanted her 4 himself not understanding Love can never be gained forcefully, it is earned.

and then his fear 4 her lyf made him let her go, confess how much he loves her knowing very well it'll led to his own destruction.

Then there's Khushi, She didn't realise but she was attracted to Arnav from the start somewhere this is the reason she let him intimidate her but soon her fears kicked in and she thought she can't fight back.

But again her fears one day had enough and her confidence was back and reason was Arnav. When she was set free she was happy, happy for the freedom girl in her got which she never had. So she was all set to live her all dreams and hopes she had with her life.

But then again as time passes unknown to her she starts yearning for the safe cocoon she used to live in Arnav's presence, she starts yearning for the true and possessive love in her life, she started yearning for her companion without whom now her lyf seems incomplete after the momentarily happiness was earned. and then came the realisation that she fell in love with the same person from whom she started to run away.

Both of them had Love- Hate relationship which was first covered by the fog of Hate and when it cleared they found their Love far away from their reach to get.

So in 1 line " They're two confused souls fighting with their own fears and mistakes, & still falling for the same person they once claimed to hate."

Getting love back is more than complicated from the whom you broke."

And here same with both khushi n arnav..

Khushi didn't know she love him but arnav know n he break her.. when he try to mend his mistake and get his love, khushi back.. but she broke him and now khushi is standing in the place of arnav where he was broken n hurt by none other than his love and she is trying to get her love back..

I m not a poet so I don't own any poetic answer of this..Neither I can mention their characters in one line..
