Chapter three:
"pack up" the two words reverberated the studio... Khushi went into the green room and started removing her make up... She soaked the cotton balls in the warm water and rubbed against her face peeling off the extra layers off her skin exposing the originality inch by inch from the veil she wore in the day light... She then looked at her now cleaned up face and stared for good two minutes when she felt wetness against her cheek and saw the two pearl drops rolling from the confines of her eyes travelling down the valley of her cheeks painting her whitish cheeks with streaks of black strokes... Now all she could see before her is the image of a broken girl .The real her that peeked out of her disguise is now tainted with blackness. Isn't that how her fate now is??? It's either with the mask or black mark but never the true self...
Her kajal mixed with salty tears smeared all over her face when she tried to hastily rub off the traces. But her tears won't budge as her every attempt to make them vanish would only increase the intensity of it's flow. She could not take it anymore to see the sight and covered her face with palms and cried into it as much as she could.
"Why? Why her? Why can't she go back to her earlier life nor accept the present? Just why?"

Arnav was resting in his room. The meeting went smooth and his father was quite happy about this. The RG delegates were important clients for them.
His door knocked and his di came in carrying shravan in her arms who was showing his arms to his mamu asking him to pick up.
Arnav: Hey champ! Missed mamu haan?
He said tickling shravan and hearing his laugh
Anjali: No need to cajole him so much.. You know these days he's becoming much stubborn just like his mamu.
Arnav: Is it sharu? You like mamu so much?
Shravan: Maam Maam uhhhnn Choco..
Arnav took the chocolate bars from the bedside drawer and gave him
Anjali: You spoil my son too much Chote.. (she sulked. when her son and brother are together they forget her)
Arnav shook his head at her di's antics
Arnav: Di I really don't know who's the kid now. Coz right now you look more like one than shravan
Anjali: Haan haan as if the father-son duo not enough now the mama-nephew joined the hands to team against me. (she turned her face)
"u do know I'm always on my daughters side right chote" entered inside Sushma Singh Raizada. Carrying a tray of hot beverages.
Arnav: Maa I know you like di more than me. After all she's your darling daughter. (Arnav exclaimed in a fake upset tone)
Anjali: Did I smell something jealous here? Maa don't you think something's burning?
Sushma: Anju you didn't mean chote right? After all he's the one who spits fire with his glare? Dekho dekho like the one he's throwing us now...
Arnav: Sharu baby... Dont you think your mom and nani is too dramatic? (shravan giggled at arnav's question)
Shravan: Maamma nani drumtikua...
The duo laughed at shravan's cute antics and continued their routine of pulling each others legs with light chatters... In between their talks Arnav made shravan sleep in his arms to which both his di and mom complimented how much good he would be as a father. At the mention of such a comment suddenly he imagined a familiar image in his mind carrying baby and walking towards him with a smile... Yeah that smile which could bring up many hidden emotions within him... He shook his head at the direction of his thoughts and continued talking...

Flashback
"Khoosie beta stop running.. Maa is tired beta"
"amma come... Khushi wants to play"
Garima smiled at her daughter and extended her arms widely to which little Khushi ran to her happily and hugged her knees.
Garima caressed her daughters hair and took her four year old daughter in her arms...
Garima: So gudiya wants candies or running?
Khushi kept her index finger in her cheeks in a thinking gesture and told cutely...
Khushi: Gudiya ko cotton candies chaiya...
Garima kissed her daughters cheeks and took her candy shop...
After getting candies of her choice, Khushi grinned and hugged her mother's neck...
Khushi: Gudiya loves amma
Garima: Amma loves gudiya
"AMMA" Khushi woke up from her sleep and looked around the empty room... How much she needed her amma's lap, her warm hugs and assuring kisses right now... Khushi took her mobile and dialled a number frantically...

The crew were busy in making right arrangements for the shooting...
Khushi was going through her dialogue sheets sitting in a corner... Today some crucial scenes are to be shot between the leads and also the major part of today's shoot is gonna feature in the first teaser of the movie which is slated to be released by the end of next week...
The film is a rom com genre and some parts of the song sequences are planned to be shot abroad while some bits are gonna be shot before the teaser release...
"Hi" she heard a husky voice and turned her head to look at THE ASR...
Khushi was surprised it has been more than a month, the shooting process is happening. In these days the conversation she had with him is only when the camera starts rolling. Apart from few formal smiles and the initial intro session they hardly interacted.
Khushi: Hello (she gave him a small smile)
Arnav: Work at early hours are always painful right? (He asked taking the seat beside her)
She nodded looking at her watch which indicated sharp seven.. She now kinda felt nervous...
Arnav noticed it and decided to calm her down before conversing... So he tried to take her hand in his hold as a gesture of assurance... But when Khushi saw this she immediately drew up from her seat...
Khushi: I will be back now... (she told and started walking without waiting for his replies)
Arnav fumed at her retreating back... No one and he mean it no one had behaved this way with him... How dare she? Till now they shared only four to five scenes together in a single frame... But now as the story progresses they would have scenes that would include mostly the lead pairs and some scenes that would require each others comfort... So he decided to have some good rapport as it would help them professionally. Hence he himself decided to take that first step and came to her to build a conversation... But all he got is her ignorance... Heck... For all he cares... Think she forgot who he is and what he is capable of... It's time to show her the place... He thought arrogantly...
