Huda sat in his room staring into the blak walls...he culd hear sounds of laughter cumin frm d dining tent...but for once, he wasn't in the mood to join in.his heart was beating slowly, n sumhow,his senses weren't working too well...his mind jus kept playin d same scene over n over agn..nainas luk wen raj came near her...her eyes so lost wen raj was working in that bullet....it all jus kept playin as if sum1 was hitting the replay button over n over agn in his mind...."huda..." he turned in a shock...

naina stood before him...a puzzled expression on her...."kya hua..yahaan kyun akele baithe ho? baahar sab tumhaari bhainson ki kahaaniyon ka wait kar rahe hai..." she sed wid a smile....even her smile sent a shiver up hudas heart...it was so beautiful...he wanted to hold this moment 4ever...."huda...tum theek toh ho na..?" asked naina shaking him slightly..."hann..haan phoolan...is jatt ko kya hoga...mein EKDUM theek hoon!" sed huda forcing a smile onto his face..."woh...main bas soch raha tha ki colonel rajvee ko kaise thank karoon.." "thnk?" asked naina.."kis baat ke liye...?" "arrey..usne meri phoolan ke haath se itna bada bullet jo nikaala....dekh..ab tu kaise has rahi hai.."

naina smiled agn...n dis time...huda saw it...d very mention of His name made her blush....oh...how he wished she wuld blush like dat for him..."thnk tabhi karoge na..jab baahar aaoge...chalo huda..sab tumhaara wait kar rahe hai.." "chal phoolan..tu kehti hai toh chalta hoon...." "toh chal na..." haan..abhi aaya...tu jaa...abhi aaya.." "pucca na?? promise?" "arrey phoolan...tujhe keh raha hoon na..kabhi tere wishes ko main poora kiye bina reh sakta hoon?" "tu bilkul nahin badla na huda?" she asked wid a smile shaking her head...she den moved out..n huda stood dere..waiting 4 her 2 go...so she dint see dose tears in his eyes....

outside the tent..every1 sat round the ire..singing n joking round..it dint seem as if dese very ppl had jus had a brush wid death...naina came out n sat next 2 alekh....n noticed sumthin very strange...."alekh...." she asked...alekh turned to luk at her.."haan..bol.." "tujhe koi ladki pasand hai kya..?" alekhs expression changed....shock..embarrasment...n suddenly..he started lukin down.."yeh kya..tera dimaag khisak gayela hai kya?! apun ko...koi ladki..." naina smiled a knowing smile.."dekh..tu mujhse jhoot mat bol...kya main apne dost ki dil ki baat nahin samajh sakti? kaun hai woh..bol na.." alekh luked round makin sure no one was hearing..."divya...uska naam divya hai...woh...apun..woh..usse wahaan...lakshadweep island ke paas mila tha..jab apun wahaan posted tha..woh..woh..wahaan..chutti manaraili thi..woh.." naina began laughing...."yeh kya.." asked alekh hurt.."ek toh apun tujhe uske baare mein bataata haiaur tu hasraili hai.."

naina shook her head.."tujhe IS tarah dekhoongi..kabhi socha bhi nahin tha maine,,," alekh suddenly smiled...shyly...naina culdnt belive dat it ws her frnd..."kya woh jaanti hai..?" "haan...apunlog phone pe baat karte hai....lekin abhi tak uske maa-baap ko nahin pata...woh..apun ka koi nahin hai na..toh baat kaun karega?" "yeh kya...main teri koi nahin lagti? aur maa aur baba...dekh..yeh sab khatam ho jaane de...phir mein KHUD maa aur baba se unse baat karne ko kahoongi..." alekh smiled a grateful smile....

huda soon came out of the tent n began warming his hands near the fire...he tried to stel glances at naina..but saw her busy wid alekh....he saw hr smiling..n..wats dis?!! qaidi...BLUSHING?? 'kuch toh gadbad hai.."thot huda..."is qaidi se baat nikalwaani padegi..." a few minutes later...ali sat next 2 him...huda dint even cast him a glance..n nor did ali....a few minutes later,naina n alekh strolled over 2 d gang which poo n ud joined...as naina came n sat down near ali..ali moved away....."ali..." naina began....but ali turned to leave d grp...."ali..khaan ja rahe ho..?" asked naina.."hum jahaan bhi ja rahe ho..aapko nahin bataana humein.." "ali..plzzz.." began naina..but huda n alekh were already on their feet....

"chal shaane...bahut ho gaya tera.....tu bataa...teri kya prob hai...?" asked alekh.."humaari koi prob nahin hai.." "achcha usool?!" sed huda.."dekh...hum yahaan ek jung ladne aaye hai...magar tu aur bolega...toh ek aur shuru kar denge...sajhaayi???" "teri naina se problem kya hai??" asked pooja hotly..."humein naina se nahin.....humein aise logon se problem hai,jo raaste se bhatakkar aisi cheezen karte hai jo sahi nahin hai..." he turned towards naina..."aap achchi tarah jaante hai ki hum kya baat kar rahe hai...aap aur colonel rajveer..academy mein jo hua..yaad hai na aapko?" naina was shocked...she turned in shock.....n left....

raj came upto d grp.."ali...main yahaan ek soldier hoon..magar ek aur baar tumne..." "kya karenge aap sir?? aap jaante hai ki main.." "jus GET OUT!!" cried raj....ali left leaving behind a shocked silence..

back in her room...naina lay her hear on the pillow..the memories came flooding back..bout her days in the academy..that fateful day...which had changed everything.....
