Chapter 6

There was a courier for Raizada house that morning but rather than Hp who had been worrying himself ever since the mention of his replacement Khushi thought it better to get it herself.

Signing for what looked like a rather significant package Khushi's eyes are expressive the moment the post man leaves and Khushi opens the box to see it was a coffee machine.!

Taking a gasp Khushi quickly shuts the box. Ignorance was bliss she told herself, ignorance is bliss! But it also slowly sunk in that after Hp, Akash and Dadi and Aarav she was inevitably the next one to feel the wrath of her husband.

A panicked Khushi had put her brain into gear and even Aarav was aware that his mother was up to something when she stood in his way as he watched his cartoons but he like his father knew that Khushi wouldn't go away so easily.

So Aarav listened to his mom who was being extra nice to him.

Aarav beta you know how to tie a tie don't you .. she spoke as she waved one of Arnavs ties in his face.

Aarav looks at his mother suspiciously and then replied.

Will you help me learn? she said In the sweetest tone possible..

When Aarav wasn't sure Khushi had knew exactly how to convince him.

"Hame pata hai ke aapka game console kaha hai Aarav" she said with a cunning sparkle in his eyes and one thing Aarav wanted more than anything was his game console back.

And It was a deal.

A little later Arnav is stood in front of his wardrobe and looks for his blue tie but fails to find it getting frustrated he decides to go for the red one but that too is missing and the green one! What the f--! He curses and gives up.

Getting frustrated he decides to cancel the meeting all together he couldn't be seen in his own office without proper dress code.

...

Later on as Arnav decides to make his own coffee to bypass all the fuss the thought of the coffee machine he had ordered that had not yet arrived crosses his mind but what gets his attention is when he comes across one of his ties lying on the kitchen table, odd! Not only that but as he taking a seat on the sofa he finds another one of his ties behind the cushions.

Throwing it aside in confusion he is beyond baffled when he sees another around Laxmi ji's neck who crosses his path.

Raising an eyebrow Arnav mutters under his breath at the absurd nature of what he was seeing.

When Khushi walks through the lounge Arnav makes a point of asking her if she knows anything about the whereabouts of the coffee machine he had ordered.

Khushi was there post for me today? he says over his laptop..

Khushi pulls a worried face for a second but then just smiles.. ji.. nahin toh ..(er no there wasn't )

She says softly and walks off thinking she'd done well to avoid the matter.. but not quite.

"Hang on a sec.." he pulls her back before she can walk off. Making sure to look at her..

"What was that tone of voice.. aur tum mujse nasre kyun chuara rahin ho?.. (Why are you not looking my way..? ) his eyebrow is a little raised.

She pretended like what he saying wasn't true but both of them new it was.

He put down his laptop to observe her a little more after all his wife came above everything.

That also meant that he knew her better than everyone she found lying hard, lying to him even more difficult.

"Come here .."

She felt like she had been summoned by him if she didn't make the advance then he'd know there was something up for sure.

Take a seat his eyes insisted she perch in front of him on the coffee table. She had no clue what he was going to say or do but she watched him pull out a tie from behind the sofa she'd left behind and she panicked a tad. Panick that she controlled of course.

He handed it to her his eyes asking her to help him with it .. after all he couldn't find one this morning when he needed it.

He watched her observantly as she went about it looking uneasy..

But she seemed to do it all incredibly right .

He observed her as always admired her why are you nervous love? He asked as he could see her fidget a little as she went about it, it was strange because his wife was usually very forthright, bold and fierce no matter what.

She looked up at him a moment into those charcoal eyes of his she didn't know whether to fall for the warmth in them or fear the intensity of them when he'd turn all Raizada on her.

She pulled the last strand to perfect the tie and then replied .. with honestly because no matter what she'd say he would always work out the truth.

Because you said you would get around to me and I'm maybe just a little worried..

She confessed as she looked into his eyes but then shun away from them again..

He smiled at his wifes craziness..but he wasn't going to go easy on her ..oh no. she'd get exactly what she asked for.

"So you've been practicing.. that's why all my ties are all over the place.. ?

And the coffee machine.. ?" he asked with a semi stern tone and look on his face.

She wasn't proud of her mischief it seemed but it was all in aid of keeping harmony in her life and making sure he doesn't go mad at her.

Its in the attic.. she said in a softer tone hoping he wouldn't scream at her every second of the way .

And Aarav he's got his game console back from you I guess. She nodded, all the while his wife seemed so innocently afraid of him.. what crazy lady she was he thought and kept his amusement at bay.

He could kiss her right now in fact that is exactly what he was going to do. His lips took her by surprise as did the way he followed up by trailing them to her ear .. "This was supposed to be fun jaan save the nerves for tonight" he whispered and Khushi took a moment to process that even after he left she was all tingly inside..

He was right this was supposed to be fun.. she was supposed to get her sexy ASR and she finally would but it was also true that she was a tad bit scared at what he had in store for her. She took a shower, got into her nightwear, put the air con and ruffled the pillows not long after did she feel his arms around her, insisting her neckline, his aftershave surrounding the air around her. She bit her lip a little at the frantic nature of her own heartbeat and when he turned her around she lost sight of all else but him and his love for her. Her hand upon his shirt a little and her tone soft.

"So kya sochna hai. .aap ne hamare liyey" ..the fact that she dared to ask was more like his Khushi.

Not so easy.. there are some rules to begin with ..he said a little bluntly.

Rules she looked up at him knowing that this was the ASR in him talking she found it ever so attractive in her husband but was equally nervous too.

"You'll call me Mr Raizada,"

"You'll oblige to it all, all of it."

"You will not sleep till I allow it.."

"You will not rest till I let you ."

"No speaking back"

"No smart comments"

"No questions.."

"Ji, she replied when his eyes questioned her on whether he had made himself clear her heart pounding that much more then it ever did around him.

"Good" ...taking her in his arms Arnav sweeps khushi off the floor onto their bed and begins on his agenda.

...

A night full of intimacy it was he'd loved her in many ways ruthlessly yet with passion, affectionately yet with a little dominance just the way Khushi had requested of him and here they were resting in each others arms the next morning.

Arnav stirred his fingers through Khushi's hair whilst she rested on his chest.

"Arnav.."

"Hmm" .. he answered in the same matching tone of voice .

"You can go back to being like before if you like now.."

"Right after this!" - he says pinning her to the bed in a swift motion taking his wife my surprise who breaks into laughter which her husbands silences with his kiss.
