If I Told You I Love You

I'd Have To Kill You

Happy Birthday Milly! This part is dedicated to her!

"So honey how was your day?"

I looked up at my mother and smiled like usual. "Good mom. The practice mission in the Australian lab was successful and I got the new 750 Gi."

"That's wonderful honey! Good job as usual. Now, I have a very important subject to talk to you about."

I straightened in my chair and nodded. Knowing my mom's important talks, this one would be full of secrets and gossip.

"Well, do you know who Mr. Sanjay Khan is?"

I nodded. "He's the Indian Embassy representative right? I saw the press conference on the news last night- he seems like a big deal."

My mother smiled and nodded. "Yes honey, he is a very big deal. He is worth 15 billion dollars actually."

"That's nice mom." I said, confused. "But what can I do for him?"

"His daughter, Alliyah Khan is your age." Mom started. "She's a bit of a….a wild child, you can call it."

"Ok…."

"According to Mrs. Khan, Alliyah is bad for Sanjay's image and she wanted me to take Alliyah in the academy. Apparently, she thinks that if we train Alliyah to be a spy, Alliyah will become responsible."

"So basically you want me to baby-sit her?" I said bluntly, surprising myself; and by the look on my mother's face- surprising her as well.

Kripa Sharma was never blunt. She was responsible, sophisticated, and diplomatic. I quickly regained my composure. "I mean, would you want me to keep an eye on her?" That was the best I could come up with at the moment, without sounding like a smarta**.

My mother relaxed in her chair again. "Well basically yes. But Kripa, I chose you for this job because I know I can trust you and not because you are my daughter. You are the best student at the academy. Will you keep my trust intact?"

I signed. Now that she said that, I didn't have much of a choice. "Yes mom."

"Oh thank you honey!" she said, "Now, before I let you go let me just brief you on Alliyah. Name- Alliyah Arora Khan. Age- 17 about to turn 18 on January 15^th. She is a rebel, with brown hair; which she recently highlighted with blonde streaks. She has 6 piercings in her ears, one on her eyebrow, nose, and belly button. She loves to party and has apparently drunk her way to jail."

"Wow mom! Do you think I can handle her?" I asked, apprehensively.

"Yes honey, I know you can. She will be staying in your dorm room, with you and Liz- that way you can always keep an eye on her. She should not act up or try to escape ok darling?" My mom said firmly.

I nodded, hugged her, and stepped out of the room. This was going to be a hard mission. I would rather climb Mt.Everst in my bikini again! But there was no way I could back out- my mother trusted me and counted on me; I just had to be successful in this mission!

I knew that inside the academy, I could handle Alliyah- after all, this was my forte. I knew everyone and everyone knew me. It would be impossible for her to cut classes or do whatever bull she had planned. And as for sneaking out, she might as well forget that idea altogether. This academy had so much security it was unbelievable. The laws were covered with motion censored alarms, there were more than 3000 guards employed, and silent alarms were imbedded in the walls. Nobody could tamper with the alarms, not even my mother- the owner of this academy.

"Kripa!" someone called out. I spun around and saw Liz. She smiled and strode towards me, her long platinum blonde hair flying behind her. Her tiffany necklace shined in the light coming from the windows.

"Dude, you will soo not believe what Mackenzie said our next practice mission is!" she said excitedly. I smiled at her and fixed her skirt, pulling it down. She always did something with her school uniform to make it seem sexier. And she always got in trouble for it too.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You know that fair going on in town?"

"Yes"

"Well, Mr. Mackenzie decided that it would be a perfect place to teach us the lesson on hiding and attacking; since it's all crowded and everything. So we get to go out! Woophy!"

"That's nice" I replied, bored. It wasn't like we weren't allowed off campus at all…..we had four hours a week! But, most of us, (namely me and the other studious girls) stayed at home and studied, while some (namely Liz and girls sharing the same ideologies as her) went out and did whatever they did.

"Yup! We get to use all the awesome gadgets, and the place will probably filled with cute guys…plus all the yummy food and awesome rides!" She said, loosening her tie.

"Well, I like the awesome gadgets and the food and rides." I said, tightening the tie up again. She smacked my hand away.

"Kripa you really need to lighten up! God, do something naughty for once. Don't worry, Santa will forgive you" Liz said laughing.

I laughed as well and just shook my head. Trust Liz to make a joke when she's dissing me.

"But really Krips. We have got to get you a boyfriend!"

"You do that Liz. But right now, we have really got to get to class." I said walking away. She laughed and followed me.

We reached our class and ducked inside just before the late bell rang.

"Phew! Made it!" I said.

Liz rolled her eyes "Oh thank the lord we made it. It would be just a great disappointment if Ms. Kripa Goody-Two Shoes Sharma got a tardy in her life for once." She said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes right back. "And it would be a great freaking surprise if Ms. Liz Never on time Smith actually didn't get a tardy if Kripa Sharma isn't with her." I retorted.

We both laughed and shook out heads. Although Liz and I were both totally opposites, we were best friends. She knew what I was feeling and she was the only person in the world who knew every thing about me.

"Ok everyone shut up." We all turned to see Mr. Mackenzie standing in the front of the room. What was he doing here? We were supposed to be in World Civics, learning about the secret routes that spies took to go around the world. Mr. Mackenzie was the teacher for field operations….

"You all seem surprised to see me here and believe me, I don't want to be here but I have to. For the next two periods, I will be talking to you about our next field operation. This one will be perhaps the most difficult and dare I say it, the most fun. You will, for the first time, be left on your own, with only one classmate, and one camera, which will be imbedded in your earrings. This will be the first time that you will interact with the locals, without us barking orders and information in your ears."

"Ooh! Perfect time for me to finally hook up with hotties in town! And perfect time for you to find some one!" Liz whispered in my ears.

I rolled my eyes. She was right though. Every time we went out, (even those four so called 'personal' hours) we were under surveillance and not allowed to talk to anybody other than our classmates. No wonder the locals called us all snobs. This would be the first time we would be able to be ourselves- and actually wear our regular clothes outside. This would be fun.

That is the first part! It was pretty long I think. It had a lot of run on sentences and the grammar sucked so sorry for that. (And it's not proofread either!) Im going to see Baabul with the family (not my choice of movie) so I can't write much more. I had planned to have Angad introduced in the first part, but that won't be possible. He will come in the next part for sure. Comments please! Thank you for all the comments! And I need 7 or more people to comment if I will continue!

it was great dude continue soon i just relieased that if someone compared me liz and kripa together we would have loads of things in commen anyways u never wished me or gave me my gift my birthday was on saturday and u forgot 😭 i mean last saturday i know i know i'm being greedy lol but its funny ive been getting belated wishes and gifts and some people say their going to give me something they never do oh well alost is a lost anyways welcome back and continue sooon i can't wait till aliyah's intro its going to be great for her to come into kripa's life...or will it oh well heres a long comment continue soon 😊
