Looking forward to this one! This is different no ego clash as of yet I mean the characters don't seem to have any or that's what I caught from what you have portrayed.

Thank you to everyone that has come back to read yet another one of my stories, hope you enjoy this one. I've read all your comments thank you all for the love you've given this even before it was posted. I seemed to found time and momentum today and here goes the second chapter.

Chapter 2

In no time at all Khushi and Mr Raizada were busy talking about the wedding they had to plan, Khushi had fantastic creativity, and he had a great eye for detail. They were like a house on fire from the way their conversation bounced off each other to the way their minds were so in tune with each other from a distance anyone would compliment them as the perfect match.

They had spent a considerable amount of time talking and now it was time to put those ideas to action but before Khushi went about her work there was something she wanted to say to him.

"Mr Raizada.".-! . she caught him before he could get up and away from beside her and move on to his next job.

"There is something I wanted to ask you and it's not directly related to this". He wasn't sure what that meant but he didn't mind. His eyes smiled along with the smile on his face.

"Kahiyey ." (Do say.) - he spoke politely.

"Its about Payal.."

And he focused more now she had mentioned that name.

"Woh aap ke parivar ka hissa bane jaa rahin hai ..aap unka khyal rakhenge na?" . .(She is about to become a part of your family, you will make sure she is looked after won't you.)

The moment he saw Khushi's eyes take to the most adorable state of concern, of revere, of love ,of hope and prayer for her sister Arnav Singh Raizada was in awe of her. He hadn't met many who were as sincere as this.

"Of course I will, Payal will be very happy here I assure you." he said reassuringly waiting to see if she needed more convincing but she was happy with his reassurance and thanked him.

Why was that moment so special they both wondered?. Why on earth was a casual meeting of this sort so seem so meaningful for both of them them? but like new acquaintances did they part and get on with the reason they had met in the first, place the wedding!.

...

Mid day

She was incredible, the more he saw her the more he wanted to see her. Stood at a balcony of Raizada house on a much needed coffee break Arnavs eyes time and time again took him to Khushi and even now as he stood up there supposedly seeing if everyone was doing their job properly the only person he really noticed was her.

From the way she had tied her hair up, to the way she got stuck in with the decorating, bossed people about, tripped up over things or just looked pretty stood doing what she did. He didn't know why but this girl had been on his mind, in fact she made smile, she made him feel as if innocence and sincerity in this day and age was still very much around in the form of Khushi Kumari Gupta.

The thing was his admiration for Khushi was pure, yes she was pretty, she was attractive and he was attracted to her but he was attracted to her personality, her mind her heart. Okay it had been what half a day but Arnav Singh Raizada knew when he was fond of something especially people and Khushi he had more than taken to.

...

He was incredibly handsome and god she thought he was going to be some old man dare she say it even if it was all in her mind. She looked around for some reason and their eyes met. Him stood at the balcony and her stood on the very top step of the ladder going about her decorating.

He smiled as their eyes met and she nearly toppled but not quite. This was embarrassing she thought and looked away. Did he have to be this handsome because even she Khushi Kumari Gupta who had always said she would probably never marry after seeing the outcome of the million weddings she had planned wondered how great it would be to be wife to a man like Mr Raizada. He was tall, dark, handsome, mature, wealthy and he was sensible not like the goof balls she had gone to college with --yuk!!

Yes her mind got carried away but this is how she was, what was the fun in being all serious anyway and it wasn't like this would ever happen in real life so she might as well entertain herself with her thoughts.

He laughed a little at the site of Miss Gupta on that ladder and walked off into his room with his coffee. The thing was that he liked her and he was going to do something about it . Reaching for his phone Arnav dials Aman's number and asks him something out of the ordinary.

...

A little later Arnav receives a call as he is sat at his laptop in his room trying to hide away from the crazy wedding prep for a little while, someone was sure to find him soon but he was taking his chances and checking his emails while he could.

"No - Khushi doesn't have a boyfriend, nor a finance, nor a husband but why does it matter?? why am i even prying on the planners personal life?"- Aman asks confused over the phone at the unusual piece of research ASR had made him carry out.

Aman was unaware of how happy this made Arnav, he didn't have time to explain he put the phone down with a rash goodbye picked up his blazer and circled his arms through it. He had wedding to plan.!

...

Nani was partaking in prepping for the wedding as much as anyone else and why not her grandson was getting married. When Arnav approached the dinning table in the house he saw that his grandmother along side Om Prakash and Hariprakash was making ladoos. ASR was very fond of his nani. He pulled a chair up turned aroud and decided to sit on the dinning table with his feet on the chair next to his nani.

Nani just smiled - Arnav may have been a heightened personality for many but their relationship was a close one.

"Nani woh ladki dekh rahe ho aap" ..(Do you see the girl over there nani?) - he said looking at Khushi in the distance busy working.

"Hmm".. nani trying to look around and the finally seeing her when he was specific about how she was dressed.

"Aap ki bahu ban ne ke layak hai?"? (Would you says she's a worthy candidate for the role of your daughter in law ) he said with expressive eyes. Nani was astonished, Arnav Singh Raizada and marriage.. ?

Why she was wonderful grind Nani. "Who is she?" She wanted to know more.

Khushi on the other hand wondered if it was her imagination but she was certain she saw Mr Raizada at a distance with his grandmother and she got the feeling that he was talking about her. Their eyes seemed to look her way a little, she could only pray that she hadn't shown herself up and continued to go about her work like she had not noticed a thing but again she noticed something peculiar, this time it was her Babuji and Mr Raizada talking, Khushi wondered if there was something wrong or she had something stuck to her because they were certainly looking at her from time to time it was strange.!

...

Something was strange because all the way home her father would not tell her what it was just said they needed to get home they could speak. Now they were finally at Gupta house they could talk right but never in a million years did she think ever never ever that her father was going to come out with his.

"Arnavji ne tumara haath manga hai." (Mr Raizada has asked for your hand in marriage.)

There was pin drop silence for a moment in the house after which all the ladies of the house reacted the way ladies did. They were excited, they were all excited but Khushi could not believe it. She needed a moment she walked to her room closed the door sat down on her bed.

"Yey kya ho raha hai", ("What is going on..")

"Yey kya ho raha hai".

"yeh kya ho raha" she repeated to herself over and over again quietly. This was so not what she had ever imagined.! Ever.

..

Payal spoke to Khushi from the other side of the door.

"Well do you like him?"

"Yes .. -I mean I don't know." So that was a yes though payal, the first reply was always from the heart but she had to make sure.!

"So you don't like him?"

"No .. I mean .."

"But what. ..!"

They couldn't carry on like that Khushi got up off her bed walked to the door and opened it to let her sister in and went straight back to her bed and sat back down.

Payal took a seat next to Khushi and just was quiet for a moment.

"He has nice eyes..that is all I remember." She did remember his eyes.

That was when another voice interupped, it was their mother.

"And are they kind, his eyes?" asked Garima from the door of Khushi's room.

Payal then knew that it was time for her to leave and for their mother to take over.

Garima sat beside Khushi and looked at her like all mothers did, with love with understanding.

"Yes" Khushi answered, he had kind eyes she spoke with a smile.

Khushi's eyes told her mother that she must have liked him because nobody's eyes glowed like khushi's did without a special reason.

"Its your choice Khushi but all I will say is that there are very few out there that respect a lady enough to ask for her hand in marriage the way Arnavji has asked for yours."

Khushi was fortunate, she knew that as did her family, she needed time to decide and they gave her that. Late night as khushi thought about everything that occurred today and at the speed of lightening at that her heart from reason said yes.

As she lay to rest that night in bed with a great decision to make she searched "Mr Raizada" on her phone and came to an image of him, he did indeed have nice eyes she confirmed with a smile.

Back at Raizada house Arnav stood at the French doors of his room on looking the pool the night sky the stars that adorned it hoping that a new day would bring into his life a new dawn in the form of Miss Gupta.

Next Chapter:

"It's a yes.." she said with her eyes to floor before him dressed a little more traditionally today because she was soon to be his wife if he still wanted her to be.?

"Would you like for me to court you or would you like to do this the traditional way?"

The moment he asked her this, looked at up at him and knew she had made the right choice.

Aww that is so cute arnav went to khushi parents and asked for her hand that is really a good thing .
