Chapter 1

There was a joyful buzz in the air at Raizada house, Aakash Singh Raizada was to marry his love Payal and everyone involved was in delight of the occasion.

If there was one person in the Raizada house that was in charge of the family and its every responsibility including this wedding than it was Arnav Singh Raizada. The most responsible and in every way rightfully respected as the proprietor of Raizada house.

As Anjali wondered busy around the house the thought of her brother crossed her mind and she thought to check on him.

He was stood in front of his dresser when she entered his room, he was a handsome man Mr Raizada. Tall dark and handsome, there was something very calm and gentlemanly about him and at the same time you knew you were dealing with a tough cookie. That is too say in all the right ways was he a strong personality but for Anjali would always be her baby brother.

Good morning she said getting his attention, and he looked up into the mirror to give her a smile.

"Good morning Di" he said as he adjusted his tie and put on his blazer. Blue looked good on him it complemented the color of his eyes.

As he turned around he talked about his plans for the day, he had various things to do. Sort out the invitation list, check on the dcor, speak to the caters and he had an appointment with the wedding planner.

"Okay?" He said referring to his appearance to get an opinion from his sister who looked at him in thought for a moment in reflection at her brothers appreance. He always looked good and with age Arnav looked better and better. Today he stood before her a handsome man supporting a very grown up beard, an very expressive suit with its trimmings but that wasn't what made Arnav so attractive. It was his smile, his eyes and the incredible ease of the man whom still needed a second opinion from his sister even at this high and mighty stage of life he was at.

He watched her step closer and attack his tie, he didn't need that. It would have been annoying if it was someone else but seen as it was hi di it was okay.

Yeah well.. I turned out to be the lucky one didn't I he joked as he unbuttoned his blazer now there was no tie there was no need for that either . After which he looked up at his sister whos eyes he could read well. He knew what she was implying.

"Like what.. " What was that supposed to mean he thought looking at her with confused eyes.

"Like me .. Perfect in everyway"... she joked and he smiled. "Maybe you're right"

"Ask for Mr Arnav Singh Raizada."

Said Payal as she sat under a fan, blowing air onto her mendi to try help it dry in Gupta house.

"And be polite, Khushi he is Aakash's older bhai sahab" and he's father figure to Aakaash.

"Oh so I'm meeting your Sasurji am I ?" ("Oh so I'm meeting your father in law am I?")

"Shut up Khushi!!" .. Payal shouted throwing every cushion at Khushi she could find around her because all she had done for the past week was tease her about her wedding and on this occasion even Khushis mother and bua sided with Payal. Khushi was to be very careful at Raizada house because Payal was about to be their bahu and so she had to be on her best behavior and that she promised.

Khushi was brilliant at her job. Her and babuji made the best team, they planned weddings and perfectly at that and this wasn't just any wedding this was her sisters wedding and so this meant a lot.

Off she went like her family had lectured her Khushi made extra effort for this meeting. She had all her portfolios ready, made sure she looked her best and was ready with the best ideas.

When she got to Raizada house its grandness something else and seeing it for yourself was indeed an experience however Khushi had catered for many big weddings it was just that this home would make for such a beautiful wedding that it made her smile as she walked in.

Various workmen, including members of her own team were at work, Khushi's eyes looked for her father and when she found him at a distance she smiled. He looked busy talking to some senior members of the Raizada family it seemed but said her hello and smiled from a distance reminding herself that she had to be nice to everyone here this wasn't just another wedding it was her sisters wedding. She stopped a man who seemed to be serving water around the house to inquire upon the name she had been given.

Elsewhere ASR who was just on his way gets to the balcony of the upper floor when he gets his reminder phone call from Aakash.

"Okay ASR you should be in a meeting with the wedding planner right now."

On my way - he says as he continues to head downstairs.

" A heads up shes not just any wedding planner either shes Payals younger sister"

Okay". Erm..there's lots of people here Arnav says heading down the staircase trying to find the one he was looking for.

Shes tall, slender, pale toned, long hair, smiles a lot. - Aman trying to help as much as possible.

And that is when his eyes fell upon a lady that caught his attention in a totally different way. He didn't know why but this girl seemed to please his eyes and not just his eyes his heart to.

"I've got her .. .Khushi was it .. ?"

"Yes Khushi.." Aman confirmed.

"I'm Arnav Singh Raizada" he said.. drawing his arm out for a handshake where as Khushi could not believe this is what Arnav Singh Raizada looked liked. She expected some middle aged older looking gentleman. After getting over the initial shock Khushi smiled replicating with a handshake.

Arnav invited her to sit down and as they did the conversation flowed with ease. Khushi began to talk about her ideas for the wedding and he was impressed. It was just that Khushi seemed to pay a lot more attention to Mr Raizada than what he was saying. She noticed his eyes .. he had lovely eyes, and he noticed her smile yet it was as if they were oblivious as to one and others observations that went beyond just planning for the wedding.

Next: He had decided that he was attracted to her and more than attracted to her he liked her and he was going to do something about it.

Khushi wondered if it was her imagination but she was certain she saw Mr Raizada at a distance with his grandmother and she got the feeling that he was talking about her. Their eyes seemed to look her way a little, she could only pray that she hadn't shown herself up because later on she saw him again and this time in conversation with her father and again she wondered if she was just being paranoid or they were really talking about her. ?
