It was yet another day in Singhania mansion, Reyaansh Singhania woke up and stretching himself went to the window only to see his wife waiting for a rikshaw. His heart clenched, she got into a rikshaw and left for her hospital. He turned to see the time was 8:30 AM. How badly he wanted to drive her to her work but their relation had no importance in his life.
It has been 8 months of their marriage when, in the beginning she used to wake him up to request him to drop her to the hospital but he was too adamant and accuse her saying that she is good for nothing as she can't even drive a 2 - wheeler. He didn't know how much he hurt a poor soul by his words. She never had drawn any money deposited in her account nor asked him any money. She shops only on her salary and doesn't want to depend on anyone. Especially on her so called husband who doesn't give her any importance.
He reached his office by 10 AM, and he was lost in her thoughts. He is not able to get over the moment which they shared almost one month back. They were back from an office party when taani was removing her jewelry one by one and rey's heart was thundering under his chest. His legs made his way towards her and she saw him from the mirror and stood up, she walked backwards and hit the wall while his eyes were holding a soft gaze on her. To be honest, he wanted to love her, the feelings budding inside him were making him crave for her, for her love but unfortunately she started trembling while he approached her. A wave of pain flashed over his face, what has he done? He crushed a tender soul and he is not even sure whether he can repair her bruised heart.
He made up his mind and drove to the hospital that evening wanting to pick her up from there and both will go home together. He reached the hospital when he called her up, taani was surprised seeing his name flashing on her screen. She received it whispering a hello which made his heart skip a beat. He enquired her when she is finishing her work when she said she is done and she will start off soon for home. He asked how would she reach home, she answered in a rikshaw. He then told her that he is outside the hospital and they will go home together.
A deadly silence was there in the car when he was driving, her mind was filled with so many thoughts and his mind was trying to figure out what she is thinking. He was stealing glances from her, whereas her face has a frown trying to focus on something and looking out from the window. He was feeling guilt occupying his heart and he need to make things normal between them. He wants to love her and nothing else. She has been through a lot of pain from past 8 months. He blinked a tear which was rolling in his eye and hesitantly grabbed her small hand in his and entwined his fingers with hers. He needs to calm down his erratic heart and he wanted her softness to help him. Her heart leapt up when he grabbed her hand and he dint have any plan to leave her hand at all. She was happy, her heart was feeling elated after a long time.
That night, once they had dinner and changed into night clothes, rey slowly approached her, taani walked backwards feeling scared, by the time she hit the wall behind her, a lone tear escaped his eyes. He circled her waist in his arms and slowly leant on her forehead with his forehead. She is still scared on what is changing him. She is still scared to touch him, her small hands were on his chest while he was lost in the moment. His eyes were closed and he was feeling peace at heart, so peaceful at heart that he can stay like this forever.
She gathered her guts and finally whispered his name when tears started to flow from his eyes, he tightened the hug and leant onto her shoulder, his guilt was slowly easing up and he was feeling better crying. The Reyaansh Singhania is crying, but this feeling is beyond beautiful, he wants to feel the pain which he has given her, he decked his face into her soft curls. Taani on the other hand, everything is so over whelming for her, her heart was racing to the maximum limit and she trembled once he let out a sob.
He broke the hug and cupped her face, tears were rolling in her eyes and those eyes were shining like constellations.
T: Rey, what happened? Is everything alright?
R: no, but everything will be alright, Soon.
Taani gave a confused look
R: I just wanted to say, I love you, and I am yours.
Taani was in shock when rey took her to the bed and made her sit when he sat on his knees in front of him kissing her hands.
R: I want to be your husband taani, for the first time in my life I want to share my life with someone whom I am in love with. I need you, you may be very independent but I am not able to tolerate the pain I gave you from day 1 of our married life. Please can you give me a chance to restart our relation? Please?
Her agony started to crack open and she burst into tears after he said everything in one breath. She herself was not sure whether she is crying for her suffering all this time or that she is happy that he confessed he loves her. Rey cupped her face unable to see her breakdown, his heart panicked at her sudden outburst, he pulled her into his arms and his heart bled looking at her broken figure. A lone tear escaped his eye when he fondled her with his strong arms and held her tight enough in his embrace. She finally calmed down and snuggled closer into his chest. His face was in her soft curls, they sat like that in some sheer silence and when he noticed that she fell asleep, he gently cradled her and made her sleep on the bed. He kissed her forehead and laid beside her when she frowned in her sleep and her hand started searching for him, he smiled and gathered her nearer when she slept with her head on his chest. He understood that her answer was a yes and slept with a peaceful heart finally.
