She happily retires to bed thinking how understanding her father is. She secretly wishes her life partner should be similar to him. The moment she thinks about life partner, she tries to think who should she choose, Prem or the alliance which her parents are going to bring and drifts into sleep eventually.
Yesterday's pondering made her get up late and rush to office alone as she missed the bus and Simar had travelled earlier. On reaching office, Roli moves through the aisles thinking. She had not realized that Simar came rushing and standing in front of her and waving her hand. Simar without a choice, taps on Roli's shoulder. "Oye my dear buddy, where are you lost?" Roli tells Simar what worries her. Simar then guides her saying, "Since it's difficult for you to choose, why not leave the decision to. God". Roli wonders how and Simar explains, "have both the options in lots, throw them in front of God and ask someone to choose". Though Roli finds this silly, she has no other alternatives. In the evening she rushes home, refreshes herself, writes the lot and sits before the God. Roli's mom hardly understands a thing and wonders what her beloved daughter does. That's when her father enters home, she rushes to him and explains Simar's technique. Her father laughs at his crazy daughter and excuses himself for time being and then returns after retiring into his night suit.
