~All I Need Is You~

"WTH is Vicky doing here Dad?" Arjun's voice was coarse, rasping with anger.
"Yeh Vicky ka hi toh ghar hai Arjun..." Rudrapratap said, pulling Vicky in a hug.
Arjun was looking at them in disbelief, it was unable to digest that this selfish, mean man is his father, whom he has literally worshiped throughout his life.
"Vicky toh jail main tha?" He uttered in an astonished whisper, Rudrapratap laughed.
"Uncle lagta hai Arjun bhai khush nahi hai mujhe yahan dekh ke..." Vicky said in his same vile tone.
The on going happening had brought back the remaining family members; including Mohan & Paddy. Vicky smiled broadly seeing his parents. Mohan wrapped him in a side hug though Paddy remained still.
"Thank you RP..." Mohan said looking at Rudrapratap. Arjun noticed his dadi's face cringed in hatred. He can't deny the fact that he was feeling the same.
"Apne Vicky ka bail karwaya...?"
Arjun looked at Salil, who was as surprised as him. Rudrapratap nodded & suddenly his facial expression changed. Rashi was standing on the stairs with her luggage.
"Rashi...dekho kaun aya hai...!" Rudrapratap exclaimed. A nonchalant look appeared in her face, she didn't say anything, came towards him with her bag & stopped,
"Congratualtions Dad!! Vicky ko bail mil gaya, toh isliye ap ghar jane se mana kar rahe the..."
Rudrapratap ignored Rashi's irritated expression & shook his head, a sinister smile played on his lips,
"Nahi, main tum sabko rok raha tha taki hum sab ek saath ghar ja sake..."
"Matlab...?" Arjun frowned.
"I know Vicky ko jail se chudane keliye tum sab mujhe galad samaj rahe ho...lekin mujhe mera personal life ke saath saath professional life ka bhi dhyan rakhna padhta hai..."
Arjun narrowed his eyes, Rudrapratap went on,
"Airport mein utarne ke saath saath media hume gher lenge, ajeeb ajeeb sawal puchenge, stories banayenge...iss halaat mein agar hum sab alag alag Mumbai jayenge toh sare sachhai bahar aa jayegi, isliye main Vicky ko bahar nikala...hum ek saath jayenge Mumbai...aur baad main media ko kuch bhi reasons de denge...like..." He tried to think a bit & then said, "ma ki tabiyaat kharab thi..."
"Waah beta waah!! khud ki jhoothi zindagi keliye ma ki tabiyaat kharab kar raha hai tu..." Teji said at once in a loud tone. Arjun was looking at Rudrapratap, trying to decipher his real self.
"I can't believe you dad...ap itna selfish hai..." Arjun spoke.
"Arjun try to understand, company ke shares already gir chuke hai...tum kya chahte ho tum logon ko khush karne keliye main business ko hi doobon du..."
Rudrapratap said in a cold tone, Arjun smirked,
"Main?! Main toh ap logon ke saath ja hi nahi raha hun..."
Rudrapratap's smile vanished for a moment,
"Tum nahi ja rahe ho...matlab...?"
"Matlab...main is waqt Mumbai wapas nahi ja sakta..." Arjun said.
"Kyun?"
"That's my personal matter..."
Rudrapratap nodded thoughtfully & then said,
"Aur rahoge kaha tum?"
"Hamare purane ghar mein..." Arjun said in one breath.
Rudrapratap's jaw dropped,
"Purane ghar...?"
Arjun nodded.
"Aur Uncle, " Salil came forward, "I will stay here...toh Arjun ko koi problem nahi hogi..."
"Salil..." Mohan rolled his eyes at him,
"No dad...I can't leave Arjun here all alone..." He replied.
"Lekin beta, Purane ghar mein...purane ghar bahot chota hai...aur itne salon baad...main toh bhul hi gayi thi uss ghar ke bare mein...saaf-safai bhi nahi hoti hai wahan..." Kumud said with a worried tone. Arjun hold Kumud's shoulder,
"I know mom...main bhi bhul gaya tha uss ghar ko...lekin pichle kuch dino se jo kuch bhi ho raha hai...mujhe lagta hai yehi sahi waqt hai root mein wapas jane ki..." He smiled & then said, "Aur Salil toh hai hi...hum manage kar lenge..."
Rudrapratap was about to say something but Arjun made him stop,
"Ap iss bare mein kuch na bole toh hi better hai dad..." & then turning at Rashi he smiled, "I think tujhe ab nikalna chahiye warna you will be late..." He patted rashi's cheek. Rashi looked at Rudrapratap for a moment & then left.

Arohi was lying on the bed staring at the roof. Arjun's words were echoing on her mind, "I know, I did hurt you" , "I know how much pain you have endured..." She opened her eyes with a jolt. Arjun...Arjun...Arjun...when ever she closed her eyes the same face popped up, every single time.
"I wanted him & now he is here, begging for my love, why am I running from him?" This question was bothering her but she didn't know the answer. "Can I see him again? could I bear it?" Arohi closed her eyes & tilted her head back as grief & longing lanced through her. "Of course I do" Her inner self replied on behalf of her. "No no no!! But I can't live with someone who has already inflicted pain on me, a pain which is still weigh me down, the heaviness is still on my chest...numbing me...exhausting me..." Tears rolled down her cheeks as torturous memories flashed through her mind - the night in the forest, Arjun's song for her, his smile, his dark brooding stare.
"I love him...I love him...more than anything else..." She whispered inwardly & just then her phone buzz,
"Have you eaten anything yet? if not then eat & take the medicine"
"I am not a kid Arjun & it's none of your concern" Arohi typed back. A moment passed. Her phone buzzed again.
"Arohi whatever you do concerns me"
Arohi rolled her eyes heavenward.
"No it doesn't. It shouldn't." She typed again & send.
"We will talk about it later. Now please eat & take rest"
Arohi groaned. She visualized Arjun's face in her mind's eye. His grin, his tortured expression - still haunted her. He wanted Arohi, just the way Arohi wanted him once - and wants him still now, but deep down a panic raised in her chest - a fear of what? Being hurt again by him? Arohi didn't know. Turning on the opposite side she hugged the pillow. Her thoughts plagued her into the early hours until eventually she fell into a fitful, exhausted sleep.

Putting the phone aside Arjun heaved a sigh, Vicky is here, maybe he won't stay long, but he is here now, that's what matters right now & it means he can be a danger for Arohi again, no of course he will be, he will again try to hurt her. Arjun closed his eyes, he was still trying to realize that it's his dad who has bailed him. And with that he has opened the gate for Vicky to try to do something horrible this time. Vicky's last word gave him a jolt, "Tumne mujhe jail bheja, main tumhara zindagi jail se bhi battar kar dunga, har din jeena bhi ek saza lagega tumhe..." & with it an intense fear grasped him, he stood up, no, he can't let anything happen to Arohi, he will do everything to save her.

"Ma..." Arohi made a soft whisper. Yesterday what surprised her the most was Savita's behaviour towards Arjun. Though she knew that Savita somehow like Arjun. But she haven't expected that her mother will allow Arjun to see her after all that Hariprasad has done. Savita was making breakfast. She didn't turn. Arohi stepped inside,
"Breakfast abhi ready ho jayega...tu kamre mein ja...main leke ja rahi hun..."
"Nahi" Arohi mumbled. Any topic related to Arjun has been so sensitive for her that it makes her uncomfortable all the time. "Main Arjun ke bare mein baat karna chahti thi..." She spoke, Savita turned. Arohi smiled weakly.
"Bolo..." Savita said.
Arohi took a moment before speaking, "Mujhe pata hai apko Arjun se utna problem nahi hai jitna papa ko hai, lekin, kal jab Arjun aya tha, apne use mujhse milne diya...thoda unexpected tha..."
Savita nodded & then said, "Tujhe yaad hai ekbar tune mujhse pucha tha, dil ki sunna chahiye ya nahi..."
Arohi gave a short confused nod,
"Aur mein kahan tha hazaron sapno mein se kisko chunna hai ye bas dil hi bata sakta hai, isliye dil ki baat hamesha sahi hota hai..." Savita smiled.
"Haan...par..."
"Main bas woh karne mein Arjun ka madad kar rahi hun, kyun ki woh apni dil ki baat sunna shuru kiya hai..."
Arohi heaved a sigh, the memory of yesterday's late night phone conversation popped in front of her. Arjun is listening to his heart, of course he is. It's just Arohi who is trying to running away from his for some unknown reason.
"Lo...breakfast kar lo..." Savita put the plate in front of her.
"Ma...bhookh nahi hai..." Arohi made a face, Savita frowned,
"Huya kya hai? kal se bol rahi hai bhookh nahi hai, bhookh nahi hai...Arohi tabiyaat..." But before she could complete the doorbell rang & Arohi went almost running to open the door to avoid any more of Savita's question. How can she tell her mother that it's Arjun who is bothering her, she is missing him, she wants to see him. Arohi opened the door & there he was - Arjun - wearing a simple white shirt, open at the collar & sleeves rolled up. His brown eyes a bit tensed. He looked glorious expect the worry in his eyes - there was something wrong. Arohi could tell.
"Arjun..." Arohi said which came out like a concerned whisper.
"Mujhe tumse bahot jaruri baat karni hai..."
"jaruri baat? Kya?" Arohi asked, her intuition was right, there was something wrong, definitely.
"Arohi...aake breakfast kar lo...mujhe market bhi jana hai..."
Savita's voice came from the kitchen, Arohi didn't react, her eyes were gazing at him. Arjun's brow creased,
"What's wrong with you? tum khana kyun nahi kha rahi ho?"
"You don't have to worry about it Arjun, main kha lungi..."
Arohi answered automatically, a platitude.
"Mujhe pata hai tum bahot gusse mein ho but I mean it..."
"Please don't..." Arohi replied with a disdain in her voice & turned back. It's not Arjun's concern which was bothering her, it's the audacity, the sense of belongingness, to which Arohi was losing herself each & every time. This man who has out her through hell over the last few months - emotionally, physically. No, that's wrong. She had out herself through through hell, she fell in love with him on the first place without knowing his real self.
"Arohi main tumse yahaan jhagda karne nahi aya hun..." Arjun entered.
"Toh kyun aye ho...?" Her voice was loud.
"Arjun!!" It was Savita, "Mujhe laga hi tha tum ho, warna Arohi darwaje pe itna waqt nahi bitati..."
Arjun smiled softly, "Hum bas andar hi ja rahe tha, Arohi ko bahot bhookh lagi hai...hai nah Arohi?" Arjun smirked leaving her speechless. Arohi was taken aback for a second, Arjun's lips curved in a cunning smile.
"Thank god...subah se bol rahi hai bhookh nahi hai, tumhari baat sunti hai Arohi" she smiled,
"Ma..." Arohi muttered sulkily.
"Chalo achha hai...Arohi ko khilane ki zimmedari main tumpe chodti hun..." Smiling again she got inside & came back with a bag, "Main bazar hoke ati hun" & she left. Arohi looked at Arjun,
"Breakfast..." He said with a mischevious grin. Arohi gave him a clod stare & went towards the kitchen.

Arjun & Arohi were sitting in the kitchen, face to face. There was an apprehensive look on her face; wondering what Arjun has to say.
"Tumhe jhooth kyun kahan Ma ke samne...?" Arohi snorted. Arjun's mouth twitched with a smile,
"Tumne hi majboor kiya..."
He pushed the plate in front of her, Arohi heaved a sigh trying to press her lips in a hard line.
"I am not a child Arjun..."
"Well, then stop acting like one"
Arohi blinked at him, there is certainly something going on in his mind. He came here to talk about something but it seemed that it going to be an agitated, fraught conversation.
"I am child because I am not hungry?!" Arohi muttered.
"No, mera gussa khane pe nikalne keliye. It's a childish thing to do. Apne parents ke bare mein socha tumne? Puri tarah thik nahi hui ho tum..."
Arohi kept her head down & took the spoon. She had not thought of that. Arjun had a point. But it was not exactly the anger, it was confusion, anxiety & fear. Arohi nodded & then looked at him,
"batao..."
"Vicky is out of jail Arohi..."
"What?!" Arohi felt the dryness in her voice. A subtle panic raised in her chest. Her heart was beating fast, Vicky is out of jail, that Vicky who had tried to kill her.
"Kyun? kaise?" She asked, putting the spoon down on the table. Her voice was anxious. Arjun sighed, then ran his hand through his hair. His expression serious.
"Dad bailed him, but that's not the thing I want to talk to you about..."
Arohi frowned at him,
"Then?"
"I want you to have some protection from now on, jab tak Vicky wapas Mumbai nahi chala jata..."
Arohi remained silent for a brief moment, Arjun's concern was breaking her heart. It was like facing everything once again, but this time more in an intense way & that's why she wanted to take revenge on him by giving him all the pain which he has given her,
"Arjun, tumhe mere bare mein itna sochne ki jaruraat nahi hai...I can handle myself..." Arohi swallowed & a lump in her throat swelled as she recalled all those desperate anguish since the day she met him first. The last few weeks had been the worst in her left, the pain almost indescribable.
"Mujhe samaj mein ye nahi aa raha itna concern, pyaar kyun dikha rahe ho tum mujhe, it's unexpected & sudden & more importantly I am just not ready for it..." Arohi squeezed the words out past the lump in her throat.
"Arohi, please try to understand...I can't risk your life once again..." Arjun said in his soft voice,
"What kind of a protection you are talking about...main koi bodyguard nahi rakhnewali..." Arohi said in a curt way & get up taking the plate.
"You are upset because of what happened last time. I behaved stupidly and that's why...that is why these all are happening...accident ke waqt tum meri bahon mein thi Arohi...behosh...that day reality did hit me...& tabse I am trying to evaluate things...analysing everything...par tum apni narazgi mein itni dub chuki ho ki na tum meri madad kar rahi ho na hi khud ke bare mein soch rahi ho..." Arjun's tone was changing,
"I don't care about my health Arjun...I don't care about Vicky...about anything" Arohi whispered in a sullen yet chastened voice. And before she could understand anything, Arjun got up from the chair & pushed her up against the kitchen wall.
"But I do care Arohi...I.Do.Care." He uttered emphasizing each & every word,
"Because I love you...tum mano ya na mano Arohi...but this is the truth, aur ye baat tum bhi janti ho kyun ki tum bhi mujhse isi tarah pyaar karti ho..." Their eyes locked. The same tingling sensation enveloped her, she felt paralysed under his gaze, lost for a moment.
"I am sorry..." Arohi whispered.
"For what...?" He said, alarmed.
"For not thinking about myself, but Arjun it's really stupid, main apne saath koi bodyguard nahi rakh sakti...I am really sorry but I can't..."
"Arohi you are not understanding, ekbar Vicky tumhe marke kaushish kiya hai matlab aage bhi karega , aur mujhe pata hai iss bar woh jo karega woh handle na toh tum kar paogi na hi main...that's why I am bothered. He is evil Arohi, he can hurt you in a way you can't even imagine...aur kaal raat se isi baat pe main pareshaan hun...I can't even sleep..." Arjun said.
"But you look fine..." Arohi spoke mildly. Though he knew it's just his outer self.
"Tumhe lagta hai tum itni kabil ho ki bas dekhke hi jaan jaogi mere andar kya chal raha hai..." He said quietly, "I am in perpetual night Arohi..." He whispered. Arohi's heart constricted. His hot gaze was on her, his breath was burning her skin melting her veins & bones, their lips were inches apart.
"I thought you loved me" He said gazing at her, sealing the distance a bit more, "But I have messed things up, I know that...but I do love you Arohi & I can't lose you at any cost...you are my everything Arohi...You understand...?!" His voice was low, laced with anxiety. Arohi nodded, though she wanted not to, but in front of Arjun all her emotions responses in a different way. They don't listen to her. Arohi noticed a bit of vulnerability in his eyes, for the first time, as he exhaled. Arohi was shocked by his admission. He has had a change of heart, from an arrogant, heartless, emotionless man to this vulnerable man - he has come a long way. Arohi kept her eyes down, & Arjun grabbed her face between his hands, forcing her to look up into his ardent, determined eyes. Arohi gasped. His eyes were luminous with desire, firing the already heated blood that was pounding through Arohi's body.
"I want you to be safe Arohi..." He whispered & abruptly pushed away from her & bend, hands on his knees as if he's ran a marathon, "Please...".
Arohi dragged air into her lungs leaning against the wall, trying to control the riotous reaction in her body, trying to find her equilibrium once again.
"I will be safe Arjun..." Arohi said.
"Itni ziddi kyun ho tum...?"
Arohi shrugged & smiled.
"Main apni puri zindagi har ek extreme emotions se khud ko dur rakhne ki kaushish kiya hai, avoid karne ki try kiya hai, yet you...tum hamesha mere andar ki woh sare feelings bahar lati ho..which are completely alien to me...it's very..." He frowned, "Unsettling" He muttered & took a deep breath.
"Mujhe nahi pata tumhari baat sunke sahi kar raha hun ya galad but I think bas yehi option bacha hai..." He clasped her hand, "I trust you..."
Arohi nodded, she had never seen such kind of a grief in his voice. Arohi opened her mouth to say something, just then a mechanical tone vibrated in his pocket. He stepped back. Bringing the phone out of his pocket, he looked at the caller name, His brow creased.
"Kiska phone hai?"
Arohi asked, suddenly anxious. Is it from Vicky? and if he is out on bail would he try to do something to her? or to Arjun? This thought gave her a fear, a fear which she can't face. The other person was saying something & Arjun was listening carefully. His face clenched. Arohi looked at him.
"I've got to go..." He said, turning at her while cutting the phone & with a rush went towards the door.
"Arjun, baat kya hai? Kiska phone hai? Vicky ka...?" Arohi followed him, It was evident that there was some more problem which he was hiding from her.
"Arjun main kuch puch rahi hun...is it from Vicky?"
Arjun stopped there, & after a moment he turned & faced her, Arohi was standing holding the door.
"Tumhe pareshaan hone ki jaruraat nahi hai...I will handle it...trust me...Please be safe & please take care of yourself..." He placed his hand on her cheek,
"I love you" he whispered & left abruptly as he had come.

nice and interesting update... bt don't know why I'm fed up of this arohi 's stubbornness 😆...kya h itna kya gussa hna and yes feeling bad for Arjun ...he is literally begging his love... I really wish ki arohi K thra dimag Aa Jay and she stop being childish and stubborn... The end is cliffhanger... I hope all is well with Arjun...please do update the next part soon.. Waiting eagerly😊😊

Seriously Arjun & rashi r really unlucky to get father like rudrapratap

He is disgusting as son husband & father

How dare he bailed out that monster Vicky who played with rashi emotion &tried to kill Arohi

Now Arjun is hell worried for Arohi safety as he know that jerk Vicky will do something horrible

On the other hand Arohi was confused even after knowing Arjun love her but she is still running away from him

Arohi mom now understand Arjuhi love for each other

Glad Arjun told Arohi abt that monster Vicky

Uff Arohi is so stubborn she wasn't understanding at first what Arjun was saying

Oops I like how Arjun made Arohi understated the situation

Now who called Arjun that made him more worried?

Hope soon arjuhi will punish that monster Vicky

Very nice update Nira
I can see a gradual change of heart in arohi - she had loved and still loves Arjun very deeply - soshe is justified in her anger and attitude towards Arjun - Arjun too has understood his feelings well for arohi - that accident was a reality check for Arjun - he has understood very well his feelings for arohi because of that accident
Vicky , that jerk, has been bailed out by rudra? What a pity - I don't know what Vicky has planned for arohi and Arjun - will wait to know more - nice update dear - thanks for updating and the pm

I just don't understand Rudra...what will be do of money if his kids are not happy!! For whom he is earning money and power!!

I see a little progress in Arjuhi and now all I am waiting is for future bloom romance.

Arjun is being such a sweetheart and he really have fallen for her and learnt his lesson so I am sure he deliberately won't do anything to hurt Arohi.. What must have Vicky done to part Arjuhi..
