This March / April has been awful and temperatures have gone above 40 when we still have two more months of summer. Hope the wedding doesn't see any rise in temperatures of any sort ??!

I guess Suvi is more used to the short end of the stick and will cope better than Neel in handling these kind of sticky situations

Very true, Suvi has dealt with lot of bitterness in past hence it should be easier for her.
For Neel reality will hit post wedding.

I am sorry people find it sad and depressing. There is no easy way to make it "fun"

Its a different genre actually, its about an almost orphan strong woman, single parent marrying a emotional grieving man

When families are involved it can get painful

There is warmth, vigor and enthusiasm but also a strong underlying thread of grief.

Its not depressing.

Sad but one needs to taste sadness to value the happiness all the more.

Love the way you are taking this. Wonderful writing. The subject of the story is what keeps me hooked to this story the most. The strong single women (who hadn't got any happiness apart from Aadhya).

And its interesting to see how man moves on. Nothing wrong in it but its difficult for women to do so irrespective of social conventions.

I desisted from writing as I felt shaadi hai woh bhi hamaari Suvi ki. But the latest couple of posts on underlying sorrow and sadness even in moments of happiness makes me put this down...

The bombing of the church in Alexandria, the mindless killing of innocent civilians that too with chemicals, the lynching of people here in our own country, the shameless arrogance of men who break the law with the confidence that they can get away, that too due to a position of power, a woman being unsafe in her own city with rape cases dotting our papers each day...what is the world coming to ??😭

Where are we going wrong and why ? Is it avarice , greed and struggle for power or is it really Kalyug at its worst ??? I remember my paati saying when kalyug is at its depths, even an earthworm would spread its hood like a serpent ..
