Thank you for the awesome updates Nisha!!!

I really don't know how you write these updates--Suvi and Neel were absolutely sizzling...☺️

And in this update, you can feel Amma's struggle to be more welcoming to Suvi At least Ruchi and Suvi seemed to get along ok!!

I really hope Neel tries to understand Suvi's concerns and takes them seriously. The physical attraction seems to be blinding him to the rest of the aspects of living together...get it together Neel!!!

It seems like Preeti's and my virtual thoughts have reached Mrs. Pandit and she is making a concerted effort to be cordial and courteous to Suvi !!

Amma will come to terms with it, but neel has to live through it, so it's important that he has sensibly made that decision and not in the heat of the moment, Cz when you have lived one life you ought to compare it with others. Suvi has learned from her mistakes, it takes many to learn for some but she has learnt it the tough way, so she is being reasonable in taking cautious steps towards that new relation.

Hello folks, back again in Delhi after a three day hiatus in Thaland. Fantastic holiday at an island called Ko Samui. Did parasailing, scubadiving and other water sports, it indeed was fantastic.. Kept imagining I was some extended family of RB's indulging in these fancy sports and expensive resort type holiday! 😉 Came back to these fantastic updates. OMG the chemistry between them is indeed sizzling. Would be nice to see some real action between them. Have a feeling that just like II is forever trying to make peace between Rb and Appa, here Suvi will expect Neel to be that wedge and he will be, but perhaps for a short period of time and then will lose patience making things a little rocky for her.

Amma is the only one who gave the add in the papers and was so keen for his marriage and wanted him to meet the girls also for that purpose...
And now she is so hesitence seeing suvi in that light. God knows how much time she will take coz according to me she could be of great help in mannofying nihar which is so necessary

I was just thinking the same thing.

Nupur's no more ... Ironical I say this but Nupur should have been blessed to get such love from Amma and vice versa .

Having said that I can't shake off the feeling that had it not been suvi and had it been one of the girls through the paper advt... It would have been tables reversed with Neel resisting and Amma coaxing him to move on. It's not easy for Amma though but she's trying.
The best thing about suvi is she is unpretentious and that admirable quality in her is not going missed ... That quality of hers is being registered by Amma and Ruchi.

Delhi is getting farther away now for Amma.

Travel diary is interesting indeed.

On suvi and Neel.. I was hoping that Neel doesn't be that wedge between them and the ladies work it out between them after marriage set their own wavelengths with outside support from Neel.
Keep the man out and build a bond ... Even if it's not the same as the one with Nupur.

I prefer to believe that the worst of misgivings in amma's mind are done with and the building of bridges is due to begin between her and Suvi ..

She has taken the first step to be nice to her. She is smart enough to realise her son's happiness hinges on her approval and even if she does not vocalise her feelings, she is making a great effort in this direction.

Letting go of Nupur would be the major step for her

I know we won't get a typical MIL scenario here as that is too " Lalitha Pawarish " for Nisha's style. I don't even see a huge hurdle after marriage as she is in Mumbai in any case ( now don't I sound like Neel ?!!! )

But Nihar is the one who will be addressed now and he is the one who will be directly affected by this move.

I so look forward to a progressive MIL and DIL relationship in the future ...built from the scratch with respect and affection duly given by both of them. Nisha...please oblige !

Oh how we change!!

We are really excited for something to happen, and when it seems like it might actually happen how we wanted it to... we no longer want it

Amma is not so sure any more

In fact, be it anyone... I think Amma would have struggled

Its easy to "want" to see your son remarried

But achieving it is challenging

This is a mother that loved her first daughter in law to bits, Nupur was like a relative pretty much

There are cultural, culinary and language differences with Suvechha

The road is indeed very rocky
