PART 71




"Roli..." shouts Rithik as he finds her completely numb on Ahaana's shoulder. Ahaana shakes her softly first and then a little heard. But she isn't responding. Ahaana finds it difficult to hold her and Rithik supports her quickly. "Roli..." Aarav calls slightly tapping her cheeks which are bearing the traces of tears. But nothing falls in Roli's ears. Rithik quickly picks up in his arms and walks towards her room whilst Ahaana follows him hastily. Aarav remains in the hall to manage the confused crowd who raises numerous questions.


Back in Sid's car. Sid stops his car by a tree shade and breaks in to tears. "how long will this go on Roli??? How long will we stay like strangers??? I saw the tears in your eyes Roli...I know you still love me...but what can I do??? I can't just force me on you until you realize yourself...It was my mistake to come to you...it was my mistake..." he breaks down to loud sobs leaning on the steering of the car.


Meanwhile at Roli's room. Ahaana breaks a vial and injects its contents to Roli's vein. Aarav and Rithik stands by her side as she covers Roli with a blanket. "What happened Ahaana? Is she fine?" questions Rithik as she turns towards him. "haan Rithik..She's fine...She fainted due to the stress...Nothing else...even the baby's heartbeat is normal...It's just out of tension..." clears Ahaana. "Siddhant shouldn't have come here..." says Rithik keeping his palm on his eyes as he feels a bit upset with the turning out of the happenings. "Rithik...Do you seriously think all these happened because Siddhant came in...no...Roli didn't get this much tensed when he entered...But she became weak when he left...Did you understand the meaning? It means inside Roli doesn't want him to go away from her..She still craves for his presence..." says Aarav holding Rithik's shoulders and making him face him. Ahaana too nods as she thinks on it. "Aarav said it right Rithik...I too felt that...Did you see the tears in Roli's eyes when Siddhant was singing? she still loves him so much and we all know that..." says Ahaana. "Then why are we delaying to say it to Roli? Why should we keep them apart even after knowing the truth?" asks Rithik. "I too feel it Rithik..i think we have to say everything to Roli..Why should we hide more?? Now with this incident, we came to know that Roli will definitely forgive Siddhant if she comes to know the truth...And even if she doesn't, we have our ways na, we'll convince her..this is not right to keep both of them separate for long..You don't know, both are suffering like hell...Why should they bear all this without a reason???" questions Aarav. "haan Aarav...I too feel so.." supports Ahaana. "then when all of us are convinced, why don't we make a move???Why don't; we say the truth to Roli?" questions Rithik. "But Rithik...she is still under sedation..." reminds Ahaana. "I know Ahaana..but she won't be in the sedative effect for ever na? When she gets alright and fit to face things, we'll say everything to Roli...And remember, don't tell anything about it to Siddhant now...he'll only object if he comes to know..So let him know after things clear up..." suggests Rithik. "I think you're right..." says Ahaana. "me too..." supports Aarav. Hence they decide, decide to make things clear very soon. They can't see RoSid separated any long and they'll make sure they unite soon.


Next morning. It's a bit late. Roli opens her paining eyes with great difficulty. It feels that her head is having some big weight over it, she can't just lift up. Her vision was little blurred but as time passes, she gets to see things clearly. What happened last night? How I ended up like this? She wonders. It then sparks on her. Her baby shower function, Siddhant's unexpected appearance, the song he sung as if it is a message to her, the tears in his eyes all comes in to her mind. She quickly sits up on the bed and finds Ahaana rushing to her. "Roli...don't get up...just take a bit more rest..you need it badly..." she says as she tries to make her lie on the bed and pull covers on her. Roli does a tiny protest to release herself form Ahaana's hold and succeeds in the same. Ahaana is baffled to see this surprising response from Roli and looks up at Rithik who stands with the same expression. Roli doesn't looks to their eyes. Her vision is fixed elsewhere. "What's the truth?" asks Roli shocking Rithik and Ahaana. "Wha..what truth? what are you asking Roli??" asks Ahaana as sweat forms on her forehead. . Roli turns her face to Ahaana now. "This fake expression doesn't suit you Bhabhi...You and Bhaiyya very well know what I'm talking about...I'm asking about yesterday..." she pauses. She looks at Rithik who panics at her straight question and then continues. "yesterday, Siddhant came in for the baby shower...he sung for me...he cried...but even after all these, I could see no response from my Bhaiyya who used to go mad on his name...the person who baldy wanted to kill Siddhant watched calmly yesterday when he was here, talking all the freedom...it seems that you accepted his rights...but can you tell me why this sudden change came over? Don't think that I'm a fool to not see what's happening around me...I'm noticing since a few days. Bhaiyya is hiding something from me...I didn't ask because I felt that it was just my imagination...But now I can confirm...there is something that all of you're hiding from me...Tell me now..What's it??? I need to know what it is..."shouts Roli as she pushes away the covers. Rithik and Ahaana looks at each other. Ahaana nods positively at Rithik affirming him to go on with his decision Rithik walks up to the bed and sits on it beside Roli. He keeps his palm on her disturbed hairs and caresses them. Roli pays no attention to his gesture and just looks down. "Roli...I know you're confused..And your confusion is justified...there is something that we hid from you all these days..." he confesses. Roli looks up with shock in her eyes. "but now, you should know everything... We'll tell you everything now..." he continues. He confesses everything to her, leaving her in pure shock.


"Bhaiyya...is this all true?" questions a baffled Roli as she came to know the truth. Her eyes have been welled up. Rithik nods seriously. Roli downs her face as tears spill from her eyes without a pause. "Just calm down Roli..." says Ahaana as she holds Roli's shoulders. But Roli pushes her hand off and gets up. "Stay calm??? You still want me to stay calm after knowing all these? Everyone knew everything except me..Everyone..And me, who should have known it, first just became a fool...Very good...very good..."she sobs. Rithik rises up and keeps his hand on her shoulder. But she does the same what she did with Ahaana and looks at him. "Even my Bhaiyya started hiding things from me... " she says as she walks aimlessly through the room. "You all really didn't understand me...you don't know the pain I have gone through these months...you saw me smiling for you all, but inside me, I was broken in to pieces..You all have any idea of how I felt when the life I lived for months suddenly proved to b a lie...that too on the day I realized that the symbol of that relationship has started growing inside me??? No...none of us you understood..And if you've understood, you all might have not done this with me.." she says as she hides her face in her palms. Rithik rushes to Roli and holds her shoulders. "it's not like that baby..it's..." he says in a cracking voice. But Roli pulls herself off from him. "What all I said to Siddhant...What all I did..." she touches her neck which is empty. "I...I broke my mangalsutra...I hurt him...i even doubted his relationship with his own sister...how cheap I became...how could I think so???I always preached that I loved him flawlessly..But if my love was flawless, I would never have trusted on all those blunders..I should have thought that my Siddhant wouldn't do such a cheap thing without an appropriate reason...if I might have heard him once, today his Nithi might have been alive..I'm responsible for all these..." she cries.

Ahaana comes near and tries to explain her but Roli stop[s her. "Enough...Enough...I don't want to talk more...Please leave me alone...Please...go...please..." she cries as she settles on the floor. Rithik tries to move to her, but Ahaana holds him back. She nods in negative and takes him out. Roli rises up quickly and closes the door literally on their faces. "Ahaana...Roli..." he begins with tears. Ahaana cups his face quickly and wipes his tears. "Shhh..Don't worry...She's just shaken by the revelations..Just that...give her some space...heard what she said...She said her Siddhant...you got it??She forgave him...We must be happy for this na?? Roli will get her life back now...the baby will get both its parents..." says Ahaana with a beaming smile. Rithik quickly pulls Ahaana in to a bone crashing hug. His tears fall on her shoulder as he keeps his head on it. "You're right...my Roli will get her life back...That's enough for me...Even if she hates me na...I will be happy..." says him. Ahaana pulls him back from the hug and wipes his tears. "Hate??Will your Roli ever hate you...Areeyyy...just see, few hours... she will come to you calling Bhaiyya,..." she says. "Truly???' Rithik asks like a child. "Truly...Trust me..."she says. Rithik tries to smile and remembers something. "Siddhant...I will call him and tell everything...He'll be happy..." he says. Ahaana nods with a smile. Rithik rings up Siddhant but is startled as the calls ends up unreachable. He tries twice more but is welcomed by the dame response. "It's unreachable..." he says. "May be network issue..." Ahaana says. "Hmmm..." he nods. "Come...we'll go to kitchen and cook something for Roli...She didn't eat anything from yesterday night..." says Ahaana. Rithik smiles at her and follows her to the kitchen.



Much later. Rithik and Ahaana reach Roli's room with a bowl of freshly cooked macaroni made in her favorite Chinese flavor. Ahaana tries to knock the door but is startled to see the door already open. She looks at Rithik confused. Rithik flung open the door and gets in followed by Ahaana. They look around fro Roli but find her nowhere. "Might be in washroom Ahaana says and reaches the washroom. She's shocked to see it empty. "Not here..." she says with horror in her voice. "May be somewhere here...let me see..." says Rithik and goes out to see Roli.



A while later. "Not there too..." says Ahaana to Rithik after returning from the storeroom. "I searched everywhere...she's nowhere..." says a panicked Rithik. "Where must have she gone? It's her seventh month...god..." cries panicked Ahaana. "Wait...let me thing..." says Rithik though he's equally tensed with Roli's missing. What will we do now Rithik???" ask Ahaana as she's on the verge of breaking down. "Nothing will be wrong...we'll search..."says Rithik as he hugs Ahaana with teary eyes.



Meanwhile. "Bhaiyya...please go little bit faster..." Roli requests the cab driver. "It's a busy day madam This is the maximum speed I can take..." replies the driver. Roli feels really twitchy as she sits in the car. Tears well up in her eyes as she remembers everything. She remembers Siddhant's tears last night. She remembers how she behaved with him the day she came to know all those things. She feels so stupid of herself for not thinking with her brain on the matter. "I'm so sorry Siddhant..I'm so sorry for all what I did...But now..Now I can't wait to see you...you hug you...to tell you how much I love you..Why did you hide from me yaar.,. you know Roli...I was just expecting to hear a word from you all these days...Even if you've said a stupid reason, I might have forgiven you...I love you na yaar..."she sobs holding her pinky finger. "madam..We're here..."says the cab driver as he reaches the spot. Roli steps out anxiously and pays the cab driver. She looks around confused. though she had come to know among Rithik's talk that Sid eves somewhere here, she don't exactly know where. She got to find him soon, and that's the only the thing she knew.



Meanwhile in Rithik's place. Aarav joins Rithik and Ahaana as they called him up. They tired calling Siddhant as well but his phone was still unreachable. "I wonder where she might have gone..." cries Rithik as Aarav keeps a consoling arm on her shoulder. Ahaana has been thinking all the while and suddenly rises up as she gets a clue. "I think I know where she might have gone..." says Ahaana giving a ray of hope to Rithik and Aarav. "Where???" asks Rithik as he holds her by her shoulders. "You remember you have said where Siddhant's new place to Roli ..Considering her present mindset, she might have gone there only..near Siddhant..."says Ahaana. "ya...that's right..." agrees Aarav. "Why didn't we think this before...Aarav..Ahaana come...we'll go there..."says Rithik as he quickly picks up the keys and walks out followed by Aarav and Ahaana.



Roli stands by the roadside, having no clue of where to go. She has asked many about Siddhant but couldn't get any positive response. The sun was shining bright making sweat beads form on her forehead. She feels tired and her legs ache, but she ignores them and keeps a protective hand on her belly. It is then when she notices it. Siddhant on the opposite side of the road coming out from a baby shop. She feels happy; excited to see him. "Siddhant..." she calls but he fails to hear her. She walks forwards ready to cross the road to reach him. But the fast-moving vehicles fail to give her any gap. It's then when Siddhant looks to the opposite side and spots Roli. "Roli..." he mumbles as his eyebrows furrow up in confusion. Roli smiles happily as tears sprint from her eyes. Siddhant look at her confused whilst Roli rushes to cross the road. She steps forwards first but steps back quickly seeing the fast running vehicles. Sid tenses up as he finds him trying to do it. He tries to stop her but she being lost in her emotions and wish to meet him runs forward as she finds a little gap. But much to dismay, a fast approaching truck appears suddenly from the momentarily emptied road. Before Sid could do anything, it hits Roli throwing her to the road with great impact.
