Api had told me long back to post this and when I was going through the thread I found this, so I am posting this now.
A mother can go to any extent for their child. Will you name it as stupidity? There are mothers who sold themselves, there are mothers who killed, there are mother who died, can you name it all as stupidity? This is exactly what I wanted to tell through this fiction. The love today has become of two types, by love here I mean the romantic one. The showoff type or the extra serious type. Getting scared of the showoff type, some people have become extra serious about their love so that they wouldn't have to lose their love. And they actually love very deeply.
Love is all about giving and not about what you received. I don't know if you have ever listened to this, but I was unfortunate enough to listen this advice that if your husband/lover goes out of your hand, which is a better way of saying that he has other women in his life, then you should try harder and show how much he is wanted in your life. I have even heard that husbands love it if the wife is submissive and bears everything they give. Don't blame Khushi here. Blame the upbringing and society here. Her parents pushed her into this as I clearly stated in the first part. It was not just plain love from their side, it was also lust for money which possessed them. They might have wanted a better life for their daughter but they also wanted fame and money for themselves. Her mother was one who was oppressed by her husband. That shows that he was not the best of men and Khushi's suicide only brought in guilt to him. He was guilty when he died not in pain. They cut off all the love and affection when Khushi fell for Arnav Malhotra. Why? Because they thought that they wouldn't have the power on Khushi they would have had without them. I am in no way saying that our parents think like this but this specific set or if I can say her dad was that. Power had got into his head and he even oppressed his wife, restraining her from talking to them, to show their dissent, hoping that she would back off from the relationship but for their reasons.
Love happens from heart not from brain and heart has no brain. She was not selfish, she was devoted to Arnav. Her parents abandoned her with him and what else she should do? He was her sole support and everyone clings to their last support with a grip harder than a normal person would. Every part of this fiction shows her true love to him. True love has no actual logic and psychologists have proven it. This fiction shows that you should know where you should draw the line. Usually I try to give a message through my fictions and I leave it to people to understand it.
Secondly, they were never married. She wanted to win his heart which might be synonymous to Arnav Singh Raizada winning Khushi's heart in Khel Khel Mein. That lady is better than Arnav Malhotra but if the way Arnav forgets his self-respect and everything to make sure his wife is in love with him is same as this Khushi's. That Khushi hates Arnav but this Khushi knows for sure that AM likes her, desires her and it makes it all easy for her. Hell, she thought for the better part of her life that he was in love with her. She thought that it was something in her that made him go to Sheetal. That is how our mothers and our fathers teach us. If your husband leaves you, it is your fault. Every advice she recieved just backfired. That's all I have wanted to tell through this.
