I started The Hands of Time at the worst possible time of my life coz something or the other (extremely important commitments) takes me away from writing. Having said that, I don't regret starting the story for a moment coz if it wasn't for HoT and my guilt for not posting as per my promise, I may stop writing all together.

Those of you who are not sick of me yet, I thank you for putting up with me and to the rest who stopped/plan to stop reading, I totally understand your stand 😊

I am Alive

Hi My Beloved Virtual Friends!

Yes, I am alive but barely and completely washed out due to multiple stresses that life has been throwing at me.

One of the difficult things about vitual friendship is that you cannot really express your troubles explicitly coz the platform is too public. Hence, I hope you understand why I cannot share the exact nature of my issues but problems I have - plenty.

I won't be exaggerating if I say that the last two years of my life have been the toughest phase for me in more than a decade. And not a day goes by when I hope to see a better tomorrow and not a week goes by when I don't think of my writing aspirations and my abandoned book on India Forums.

Yet, there are times when one needs to put aside their own dreams, passion and ambition on hold to be there for your loved ones. And that is exactly what I am doing right now.

My apologies, I am sure, don't hold much value anymore. Yet, here it is. Sorry! For letting you down. For not keeping you in the loop. For not trying hard enough to write not because of lack of wanting but lack of energy, mind set and creative flow. Life has a way of doing that sometimes, I guess.

Like my apology, once again, I would like to reiterate my promise, that I will complete this work, come what may. I am that person who doesn't leave things incomplete. And The hands of Time is too precious to me.

I do worry about leaving the 17 chapters here unattended and out in the open on a public platform; yet I do it only to show you my commitment, that I want to come back to complete it.

Therefore, I have a request for you all. Could you please let me know if you ever come across any other work that closely imitates HoT be it in plot, characterization, language (descriptions and dialogues lifted from this story) etc. Basically, I am requesting you to keep an eye out for plagiarizers.

I am hoping for life to get back on track post X-Mas. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying to every God out there.

My sincere best wishes to you and your family, friends.
