Jen,

Wishing you & your family a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!! Have fun at the parties :)
I wasn't sure why you had "photograph" as your song until I read Navin's and Sujatha's part. It was very touching and emotional. I think letting your child go to be his or her own person is the hardest thing any parents have to do. We try to keep them safe with rules and advises, but at one point, they have to make their own mistakes and find their way out themselves.

Beautiful update
glad Sujata finally talked to both Khushi and Arnav
oh Anu, whatever happens is for the best, Mr. Foster & Anu?? Good things ended between Anu & Aman, it would not have been healthy relationship specially Aman still having feelings for Khushi.

Wishiing you and your loved ones Happy Holidays and Happy 2016!

Apologies for the prolonged absence from SF... I just finished reading and savoring the last 5 chapters. The growth and improvement in Arnav/Khushi has been remarkable; these two have matured immensely; the depth of understanding and the attuning to each other's feelings and outlooks is noteworthy. You have meticulously chartered the growth of these two protagonists with utmost care. I love how you have crafted your Arnav and Khushi to be imperfectly perfect, in turn making them so relatable and significant.

Loved how Khushi wanting to be there for her man, insists on boarding the train with him to Delhi minus a ticket, pleading her situation with the bemused ticket collector. These two are so tuned into each other's needs, the perfect personification of true soul mates.

Loved the beautiful bond between "Jiju" Arnav and his "saali" Anu. I can see the development of a beautiful brother/sister relationship here. The picturesque drive from Jammu to Srinagar was a delightful pictoral depiction, only surpassed by the heartwarming, symbolic twilight private wedding of Arnav/Khushi at the glorious Shankaracharya temple. Their matrimonial union blessed with the chanting of holy mantras before god and humans alike was a visual delight.

The suhaag raat was a beautiful rendition of the coming together of two beautiful souls. You have penned this with the right amount of vivacity, animation and sensuality.

Navin is a perfect father... understanding, supportive and an accepting parent. Khushi is truly blessed to have him as her father. The patience with which he counters all of Sujata's contentions, allays her fears, make her understand Khushi's perspective and appeals to her to try and understand Arnav, speaks volumes of the remarkable person he is.

I am on the fence vis-a-vis Sujata. She is a conservative Indian mother alright, but I think she is so preoccupied with societal acceptance that she has unknowingly alienated her own child Khushi. I hope that her talk with Navin has made her realize how much she has hurt her beloved "first born" Khushi. Her calling/facetiming Khushi and Arnav on their wedding day/night seems to have made her realize her mistakes and I sincerely hope that this will be the beginning of her acceptance of Khushi's choice, compelling her to give her relationship with her son-in-law Arnav a chance... only time will tell !!

I am glad that the "Aman" chapter in Anu's life has come to an end. It breaks my heart to see a lovely person like Anu suffer due to unrequited first love, unfortunately some things are not meant to be... It seems like destiny has something better planned for her in form of a caring grey-eyed Adonis... let's see where her encounter with Arian Foster leads her.

Looking forward to dreamier, more amorous and passionate moments between Arnav/Khushi; and also keen to see where Anu's happenstance meeting with Arian Foster will take her.

Jenny, thank you for this incredible journey with our beloved couple Arnav/Khushi, ably supported by the striking supporting cast of Navin, Sujata, Anu, Astha and all the other well fleshed out characters. I cannot believe that this journey is on its penultimate leg; I am not going to think of this, but will focus on enjoying/appreciating the remaining journey.

Wishing you and yours a Merry Xmas and a very Happy and prosperous New Year !! ❤️ 🥳

Jenny that was one of wonderful yet emotional upd I have ever read, I simply loved whole upd, loved how u penned down arhi, navin sujata and anu and nowhere have new guest in form of arian
First of loved how u showed everyone's povs, aditi is enduring her first heartbreak n it will be interesting to see where her will belong, arian seems pretty joyous but understand in person, let's see how aman will react on it

Finally sujata shared her fear n talked with navin, u penned down that wonderfully, can't wait for next part, and happy new year in advance

Sujata's thawing was just fantastic. I have always berated her rigid stand regarding Arnav and Khushi's relationship and felt that she did not support Khushi when she needed her the most. I wondered if there was any way to salvage their mother daughter bond.

You found a beautiful way to reconcile the family and kudos to Navin for being a very good father and husband who has taken care of his family's emotional welli being and guiding Sujat back to Khushi.
While the champagne was 'flowing freely', I started to feel a twinge of sadness that this story is inevitably going to draw to a closure and I will have to say goodbye to these characters who have become so dear and so familiar.
