Just come across this story.

I am ai intrigued to know the equation betwee shyam and khushi!

Thank god arnav trusts khushi now and didnt blow a fuse and let his temper get the better of him. Especially as ram was there. That would have been super unfair to khushi.

Chapter 2:

Interesting indeed! Present day scenario speaks about a lot of things that have happened in the past...all obscure, of course. The part about Shyam left me wanting...aisa kya hua tha?

But I like that this story has an Arnav who's regretful, and is working towards making amendments. Humein aur kya chahiye?

From the looks of it at present, I think Khushi's the fool (but only from the aspect of getting betrayed). But I have a feeling by the end of the story, it'll be Arnav who'll deserve the tag (I believe as a result of his actions)

Ram Shenoy is going to be my favorite👍🏼

Chapter 3A:

Ok I tried to think about suitable metaphors but could only come up with this one. You know how DNA makes up chromosomes and chromosomes are arranged into our genes, and a slight mutation in the DNA can cause a great change in the genetic makeup. I can liken the plot of this story to this. The basic facts (at least the ones visible) are pretty similar to those in the show. But its that one major factor of Khushi and Shyam's relation that makes a major difference. It makes the story take a different turn, and opens the prospects for so many things.

Loved where you ended it...and glad that I can read the next chapter immediately😉

Chapter 3B:

Although you had help from outside, I must commend you on the wonderful explanation on Khushi's psyche...and also why she could've fallen for him...padh ke mazaa aa gaya😃

And to have Akash and Payal as teens...a bit difficult to picturize, but I guess I'll get accustomed to it eventually.

By the way, I loved Khushi's thoughts. If it were any person in her shoes, he or she would definitely wonder why a person was judged on his monetary status. And the line about respect being bought and not earned in some places was bang-on!

Arnav saying 'I trust you' reeked more of regret for not having trusted her earlier rather than actually trusting Khushi...or is it a mixture of both?

Can't help but share this...Khushi's attire made me envision her as a cowgirl...bas ek hat missing thi😆

Nice update. I'm glad that Arnav is learning from his mistakes. Khushi did not try to defend herself in front of Arnav other than the simple statement she made, and who can blame her? The man who was always out to get her would not believe her without proof. Little did she know that Arnav is following Ram's advice and is trying to improve.

Finally I could make it time to read this new story from you. I used to ardently follow One Winter but Asli Duniya is quite hectic at the moment so I couldn't come on IF too much. Heard that you had started a new story from my old friend on IF so here I am - To read the new story and give my comments.

Forgive me if this comment turns out to be too long as I have read the whole story now so I am giving the comment for everything included here.

First of all I absolutely am loving this Alternate Universe stories which you have added your own twist to classic ArHi scenes. So Arnav insulted Khushi a lot when they started out and I guess he was under the misunderstanding that Khushi was in love with Shyam or was flirting with Shyam. This made him to stage an engagement with Khushi just to insult her on the engagement day. He insulted her and broke off the engagement only to know the truth later on and now he is left to repent his mistakes but Khushi has moved on - Moved on in the sense she is not the same old naive Khushi who believed every one earlier. She walked out of Arnav's life to make a life of her own and now is working with Ram Shenoy.

Ram definitely has understood that there is some thing that happened between Arnav and Khushi - He is encouraging Arnav to pursue Khushi and is playing the match maker between them secretly. Loved the scene when Arnav understood the intentions of Ram to get Khushi to AR to be his associate in this deal. Yup Khushi is going to be running into Arnav lot too many times and hopefully one time her mask of indifference will fall apart thereby we will get to see her feelings come out in open.

And definitely Arnav has changed - He has changed from an arrogant person to a person who knows he lost something precious. Right from the beginning of the story - he comes across as someone who is regretting his quick conclusions a lot but the egoistic that he is, he won't say that he was sorry. But how long is he going to hold the fort when Ram is so ardently pushing Khushi towards him and more over when things like these happen with evil Sim and Pam trying to put Khushi in more awkward situations. It will be only matter of time when the truth will be out. I for one want to read a reprise of "I love you Dammit' in your story with Arnav declaring it. Hope that happens.

Looking forward to the next part and hopefully I will be regular here from now on.
