"Cancer", Viren reasoned with himself as he saw his grandfather put on the life support system in the intensive care unit with tubes running over and around him, machines showcasing information which was beyond him. It hurt to see him like this. Vijay Singh Vadhera, he was a man of principles, fiercely lively along with a sense of humour and wisdom who now lay weak, fragile, breathing his last moments. He gave a weak smile as Viren sat beside him quietly.

"won't you ask me about my last wish?" he asked good humouredly.

"So, what is it?" Viren asked him with a gentle smile.

"You know it", he said looking at Viren with great hope.

"Nothing escapes your eye"

Grandpa Vadhera smiled pleased with himself and drifted off to an endless sleep. It's been 4years and his last wish shines brightly in Jeevika's finger..Well in Jeevika Vadhera's finger..
