Praveen and Manisha were excited.
M:I can't wait to meet all.
P:Me too Manisha.
Tanu entered.
They were surprised to see the chubby Tanu so slim and stylish.
M:Tanu!
Tanu saw them and smiled.Manisha hugged her.
M:How are you Tanu?
T:Nice.Hi Praveen.How are you doing?
P:Nice.
M:What a makeover Tanu.You were so traditional earlier.Now what a make over!So stylish.
T:I am still traditional in mind Manisha.I am a business woman.So I have to meet many people and this make over was demanded.
M:Good change.But i can't believe that you became a business woman.Earlier you used to say that you prefer to be a house wife.
T:But my views got changed.I realized that marriage is not the only priority.
P:Where is your husband Harsh?After graduation you guys got married and after that only now we are meeting.Is Harsh busy?Is he out of station?
Tanu's eyes became wet.
TANU:We got separated.
Praveen and Manisha were shocked.
M:What?I can't believe it.But why?
T:.When Harsh betrayed me I could'nt bear it.
She shed tears.
Manisha was shocked:What?Harsh betrayed you?
TANU:Yes Manisha.I found him with a girl.I questioned him.But he shouted at me.
M:I can't believe that Harsh is that sort of a guy.
P:Even I did'nt expect this from Harsh.
M:But who was that girl?
Tanu cried bitterly.
T:Sonia.
Praveen and Manisha were shocked:Sonia?
They remembered how close were Tanu and Sonia in college.They were inseparable buddies who could do anything for each other.
M:How can Sonia betray you?She was your best friend.
T:I don't know...I don't know what really happened.Infact still I can't believe that it happened with me.
M:Tanu...don't waste crying over those two.We are here to enjoy our reunion.
Tanu wiped her tears.
P:Did you really divorce Harsh?
TANU:Yes.How can I continue my relationship with a cheater?
P:Did he really want to break up with you?
TANU:No.He is a shameless man who is still trying to patch up with me.He still says that he has'nt cheated me.Then what I saw with my eyes...My eyes can't betray me.Right?
Harsh and Sonia came together.
Praveen and Manisha stared at them.
Harsh and Tanu looked at each other emotionlly.
Sonia ran towards Tanu to hug her:Tanu!
But Tanu moved backward.Tanu left the area silently.Sonia was hurt.
Manisha:After what you did are you trying to hug her shamelessly?
Sonia was upset.She ran away weeping.
Praveen:First we have to find out the truth of what happened between Tanu,Harsh and Sonia.
Manisha:What truth Praveen?You heard what Tanu said.Right?You think she is simply saying that?And more than that we saw Harsh and Sonia together.
P:Did't you see the way Harsh looked at Tanu?As if he was longing for her.Did'nt you see the tears in Sonia's eye? I feel that there is something which we don't know about Harsh and Sonia.That we should find out.
M:I also wished Tanu was misunderstanding Harsh and Sonia,but when I saw them together...anyways I hope you are right Praveen.
Harsh went near Sonia who was standing the pool.
H:Sonia...
Sonia burst into tears.
S:My best friend Tanu who was the most closest to my heart hates me to the core.
H:Then what about me Sonia?Though I loved her the most in this world she also hates me.She thinks I betrayed her.You know that I was not able to live without Tanu even for a moment .But now I am living without her.
S:It's all because of me.That day if I had'nt called you home this would not have happened.
Flash back...
Tanu went to the temple.Harsh smiled:When Tanu returns from temple I will take her to Sonia's house and celebrate her birthday there.She will be very happy.
Sonia was an orphan who was staying alone in her house.A man came to repair her washing machine.Unexpectedly he tried to molest her.Sonia pushed him and locked herself in her room.The panting scared Sonia dialed Police number.But it did'nt get connected.Tanu's number.But it was Harsh who picked up the call.
S:Tanu..I am in trouble.
H:Sonia,it's me.Harsh.
Sonia cried:Harsh... I am in trouble.Please save me.Harsh was shocked.
That man hit the door and opened it and attacked Sonia.Sonia screamed.Suddenly a punch on him.It was Harsh.Harsh punched him hard.Sonia rang up the police and luckily it got connected and they came and left with the man.
Tanu who came back home was disappointed with not seeing him.She tried contacting him.But his phone was switched off.Tanu was upset.
T:Where did Harsh go switching off his phone ignoring my birthday?
To get peace of mind she went to Sonia's house.
Sonia was still in fear.
H:Sonia,now no need to get scared.He has gone.And your brother is here to protect you.Me.
Sonia cried embracing Harsh.Harsh caressed her.Tanu who reached there saw this and was stunned.
She remembered how Sonia played cupid between Tanu and Harsh and dressed Tanu for her wedding functions.
T:My own husband and best friend cheated me?My best friend who united me with the move of my life snatched him from me?
They were shocked:Tanu!
T:Harsh...I was waiting for you to spend my birthday with you.But you...
H:Tanu...listen to me once.
S:Tanu...it's not like what you think.
Tanu ran away crying.
Present...
Harsh and Sonia cried recalling their past.Praveen and Manisha who overheard this came in front of them.
P:We heard what you discussed.Is it true?
Harsh nodded painfully.
M:Then how come both of you came together for the party?
S:It was a coincidence that Harsh and I reached here on the same time.So we entered the hall together.Not because we are together now.Harsh lives alone in memories of Tanu and I got engaged recently to Uday.
He is busy.He will come soon.
P:What a big misunderstanding!
Tanu who overheard cried silently.
They all went to the main hall.Their other classmates also arrived.
Somebody asked Harsh:Hi Harsh...where is your wife Tanu?
Harsh could'nt open his mouth.He was depressed.
H:Tanu and I...
Suddenly Tanu came from behind holding Harsh's hand.
T:I am here only.
Harsh looked at Tanu unbelievingly.Tanu looked at him emotionally.
Praveen and Manisha smiled.Sonia was surprised.
T:I am sorry Harsh.Won't you forgive your Tanu?
Harsh cried embracing her.I love you Tanu.I knew that my true love will make you understand the truth once.
Tanu smiled through tears in his eyes.She walked to Sonia.Sonia wept:Tanu!
T:Sorry Sonia.
S:You forgot?No sorry and thank you in friendship.
They hugged each other and wept.
T:Sonia,your fiance?
Uday came:Hi Tanu.I am Uday.Sonia's fiance.
Tanu smiled:Nice to meet you.
U:I am very happy to see you both together.Sonia always missed you and every word she utters is about you.
Tanu looked at Sonia with guilt.
U:Anyways you and Harsh should come together for our wedding.
Tanu held Harsh closer:Sure.How can we not attend this wedding?
They smiled.
S:But you both also should get married along with us.
Harsh and Tanu blushed.
Uday-Sonia.Harsh -Tanu got married on the same mandap.
