Throughout the festivities of Akash and Payal's marriage, Arnav's eyes were just searching for Khushi. But as shaken as she was, she still tried to act as the cheery and jovial Khushi she always was for her family and for her sister's happiness.
Though on one side, it dawned upon her that Arnav trusted her love but it hurt her all the more that he didn't have any trust on her. But she chose to ignore everything else to enjoy her sister's wedding for her.
As Khushi was lost in her own world of thoughts, suddenly someone jerked her to the present. As she brought herself back to the stark reality, she realized that her younger cousin sister, Khusboo was holding hoes towards her.
" Khushboo? Shoes? Whose are they?" asked Khushi, forgetting the rituals of the marriage for an instant.
" Arre Jiji, these are the shoes of Akash Jeejaji. You only told us naa, that we will get money and whatever we want if we steal his shoes." chirped Khushboo, innocently while smiling at Khushi.
Khushi was so disturbed that the rituals of marriage which she always wanted to enjoy lay forgotten today. But she immediately faked a laugh for Khushboo and said,
" Arre haan! Waah, Khushboo! I am proud of you! Now Jeejaji will have to gift us whatever we ask for."
As Khushboo clapped in joy, the smile which she faked stayed on her lips but her eyes filled with tears, remembering the words spoken by Arnav whenever she uttered the word 'Jeejaji'.

After-Marriage.
"Paise De Do, Jhoote Le Lo. Paise De Do, Jhoote Le Lo. Aur Haan, we don;t need just money Jeejaji, you will have to fulfill all the wishes that we all place." demanded Khushi, while holding Akash's shoes in her hands, while all her cousin sisters demanded, " Gifts Aur Paise Do, Jhoote Lo."
" Haan Haan, Khushiji and Meri Saaliyon. Now if you are demanding, I will have to fulfill the demands and empty my pockets." pouted Akash, to which everyone around him laughed.
As all of the younger sisters demanded various gifts from Akash, Khushi who was just eyeing them and smiling, felt a penetrating gaze upon her. She didn't take long to realize whose eyes were looking at her with an intensity to burn her skin from a distance. But when he could ignore her eyes filled with love for him, she can also ignore his intense gaze.
" So Khushiji, now your turn. You better ask for some gift because my pockets are completely empty now." said Akash, while everyone laughed at the way he said it.
" I was going to ask for a gift anyways, Jeejaji. I want you to take care of my Jiji throughout your life and never hurt her. That will be the biggest gift for me, Jeejaji." said Khushi, with a smile on her face while reassuring to herself that her sister's husband would not leave her just because of her, rejecting the Akdu Singh Raizada.
" Is this even something to ask Khushiji? But Aapka Hukam Sar Aankhon Par, Saali Sahiba. I will take care of Payalji forever." promised Akash, while patting Khushi's shoulder affectionately.
On the other hand, Arnav had realized that she had intentionally demanded this gift from Akash so that she could show to him that Akash truly loved Payal and would never leave her.
Seeing the increasing intensity in the air and calmness around, Nani signed Anjali to speak up what they had thought of before. Anjali nodded affirmatively at Nani while moving towards Akash and Payal, while holding them both by their shoulders.
'" Now that Payalji has joined our family won't you miss your dear sister, who loves you so much?" asked Anjali, naughtily.
" Arre, what are you asking Anjali Bitiya? Surely Payal Bitiya will miss Khushi Bitiya, isn't it?" added Nani, as Payal nodded shyly in affirmative.
" So Khushiji, why don't you too stay back here, as the Raizada Bahu and Bride of Chotte?" asked Anjali, playfully while holding Khushi's hand while Arnav's and Khushi's gazes locked in a intense eye lock, which Khushi immediately broke.
"I request your apologies, Anjaliji. But I cannot get married to your brother. Because I believe that a marriage is based on mutual trust, understanding, respect and love. And I don't think it is possible for us to have it anytime soon." said Khushi, while holding Anjali's hands in hers and looking into her eyes with respect.
It was like a tight slap on Arnav's face who realized that she clearly rejected him again. But this time he was not going let her go away from him so easily. And for that he needs to take a big step now.
" What do you want Chotte? Do you feel the same as Khushiji?" asked Anjali, who was a bit sad that Khushi rejected Arnav but still she was sure that she saw love in their eyes.
" Arre Rani Sahiba when Khushiji doesn't want to get married to Saale Sahib, why are you asking him again? I mean it is a bit like forcing her." said Shyam, who clearly didn't want Arnav to marry Khushi because he felt that he loved her, which was clearly wrong.
"Di, I would love to marry Khushi but surely with her own acceptance." said Arnav, much to the everyone's happiness except for Khushi and Shyam for obvious reason.
Khushi immediately withdrew her hand which she used to hold Anjali's hand and stood with her mouth open. The Laad Governor who wanted to marry her for 6 months now wanted to marry her for real?
She was not going to fall in his trap. Khushi started feeling that he was going the crooked way to get what he wanted. She felt sure that he would divorce her after 6 months like he told her before. But she would not let him play with her feelings.
As everyone started smiling and laughing about Arnav agreeing to marry Khushi, expressions of anger and distaste took over Khushi's face seeing a rare smile on Arnav's face. How low can a person stoop to get what he wanted and satisfy his ego?
Will Arnav be able to show Khushi the purity of his love or will Khushi continue to remain in dark about his love due to her anger and pain?
