Amma wants what every middle class mom in India does- happiness, health and comfort for her children. It's there and yet, not.

We've read quite a few chapters and understood several nuances about the disparity in financial and personal lives of both the sisters. Yet, Nisha never fails to surprise me with the little every day details.

The entire Iyer clan is in the house. And each person seem to have come together for the common joy of a baby. Yet, all that gives them joy are different.

Akka's joy currently, would be in getting some extra leaves and staying at D II. Bala's every act seem to revolve around to be the best son and provider.

R&B wants II on his terms and vice versa.

Appa still doesn't know what he wants from R&B exactly🤣

The babies are happy enough to eat and sleep, for now.

Amma's daughters have everything, but not in equal or required portions. And that is the case with every single person in this world. The joys are always within our grasp, And then they just seem to fly away.
