she was changed not just the colthes or looks but also her attitude

the khushi he knew always had a smile on her face even in problems which was now lost

her eyes always gave her away to him which were now guarded even he cant read or get to now what was in her mind

her beautiful eyes which were always soft which always had love for everyone now had a fire in them fire to win and achieve fire to dominate fire to maybe burn someone

he too was shaken for a while at looking at the dangerous fire in her eyes

later he composed himself

it took them about 4 hours to discuss finalize and divide the work accordingly

arnav didn't got time to talk to khushi he was still sitting in conference hall and thinking about the changes in khushi her clothes her attitude her fluent English with a little foreign accent effect of living in London for 5 yrs not just that she has become very professional her intelligence her command over her work everything is just so perfect about her

yes he was happy for her but a little sadness was there as he was missing the crazy innocent khushi he was missing his khushi

Arm-today don't know what is gona happen with us princess asked one of us to be home early as she gets bored

She didn't notice arnav coming out of the washroom with a little wet face and looking at her

Just when khushi was about to go out arnav held her hand which was on the door knob and closed it and khushi didn't needed to turn around to recognize the touch even after 5 yrs

Arnav turned her around and crushed her in his arms buried his face in her crook was kissing her shoulders neck and checks and squeezing herto himself holding her waist tight brushing his stuble on her skin

Khushi was getting out of control feeling his touches his kisses and caresses after such a long time and she had surely not missed his moist eyes when he turned her around

Her face was buried in his chest her warm breaths were caressing him

Arnav just didn't knew anything what he was doing what he was feeling he was aware of just one thing that khushi his khushi was in his arms after a long time and he didn't wanted to ever let her go now

Khushi got reminded of times when she use to plead and cry of her innocence and he used to continue inflict pain to her with his words and actions that brought back the fire in her eyes

Khushi pushed him with all her might and looked with anger towards him

Arnav first didn't knew what the happened but later he came to understand whathe did and khushi was angy with it

He felt a stab in past his khushi would always be so happy to be in his arms and feel his love but just because of his own deeds she is feeling anger today

Thinking all this arnav went to his room and just as his eyes feel on his bed there was huge smile on his face remembering how when he last came in this room he was with his daughter

Khushi was in her room crying silently standing near window when a hand came hugged her waist

Khushi slightly jumped with sudden move and turned to see the person and smiled instantly hugging the person

Ridhima just patted her shoulder and asked her to come down and join for dinner before her brothers come to her bombard her with questions for her aloofness

Ridhima was thinking about khushi and arnav she very well knew about how khushi's husband was through khushi and everyone in the world k new asr and she was like a sister to khushi she knew her in and out she didn't need to ask something to khushi to know how she feels about a particular thing or person and she knew how much khushi denies of her love but still some part of her was still the same old khushi who loved her arnavji and just wanted to spend her life in his arms with his love

But she decided not to interfere in destinies work god will decide what is gona happen and how it is gona happen but this definitely didn't mean she would become blind to her khushi's sufferings she will keep watch full eyes on asr and if anything happened to khush she won't spare the reason of it

With this she went and joined her family for dinner

When asr reached mallick office to see the work in progress as asked by arjun he was watched by ridhima very carefully no one understood it but asr was not asr for nothing he knew that ridhima was observing him and he also saw how khushi was nervous around him but hidding from her brothers

Although coming to work he was surly very impressed by mallicks

and their work enivornment too, all the mallicks and khushi,[ yes he does not take his khushi as a mallick she is a raizada for him she is still mrs khushi arnav singh raizada ]very friendly with their employs but they even knew how keep themselves in limit and get the proper work done by their employs and he was especially impressed by his khushi but somewhere this even disappointed him that his khushi has become so professional and all she was no more his crazy khushi

he had checked all the progress he didn't find any problem but a few very minor things were to be discussed and he was in khushi's office to discuss it with her as others were engaged with other works

when khushi saw that he was about to eat mushroom forgetting everything she held his hand to stop him

kh-arnavji what r u doing that's a mushroom dish u r allergic to it ,how can u be so irresponsible to eat that

arnav smiled inwardly or better say he was dancing experiencing that she cares for him and forgets all her anger and what all blah blah she says about not loving or caring for him

he mouthed a little sorry I didn't knew it was a mushroom dish I should have checked ,others nodded

ridhima was gritting her teeth as she knew he did it on purpose

other two men were confused as to why khushi called him as ARNAVJI' and how did she knew he was allergic to mushroom ridhima too sensed it

later sweet too was served to him when he was engrossed with arjun and armaan talking business he didn't paid attention to what was served to him but his sharp eyes caught khushi fidgeting and when he looked that he was holding a spoonful of a sweet dish he couldn't hold back a small smile but instead of getting khushi in trouble he gave her a relief by leaving that dish with a polite sorry telling that he was a diabetic

when he came down to parking lot he sensed someone was behind him and turned to find ridhima

ridhima angrily looked straight into his eyes and said

ri- don't u dare play those silly games of urs with khush again because believe me asr u will be in big trouble next time u tried these stunts of urs because I will tell armaan and bhai everything about u being that monster of a husband of khush who troubled her so much and u r alive still because they r not told about who was khushi's husband and restricted by khushi their angel to find or harm that person but believe me once they come to know who the person was they won't leave that person or his so called family members alive or in a good state to live u have just seen their goodness but they r at their very best when they r evil so for ur betterment stay away frm khush and stop troubling her

she was about to go inside when she slightly turned back and looked at a shocked surprised asr and said I have my eyes on u I know the great asr would have observed it long ago saying ths she left to go inside office

arnav was standing at the same spot for almost like 5 minutes trying to grasp all that happened in jiffy he turned around sat in his car and went towards his office thinking about his first encounter with ridhima

he knew this by now that she arman and arjun are very very protective of amaira and khushi as well they take khushi as no big than amaira he was happy about this that amiara and khushi have got happiness in these 5 years but he was aware of this that this very protective people will create great problem for khushi to come back to him

by the looks on ridz face he knew it was no joke what she was telling about the arjun and armans plan of doing things with khushi's husband and his family and this truth is going to come out one day for sure but he is going to tackle it in right way he had already decided no wrong ways no forcing he would do all efforts from his side everything possible and at the end it will be khushi who would decided if he is worth to get her back in his life

Note m taking a leap of 4 months

It was night time and khushi was lying on her bed thinking about arnav and her life in these 4 months in Delhi

She remembered several incidences and compared old arnav to the arnav she saw in these 4 months he was trying so hard to change yes she can't deny that he is changing something in her heart stirred that he was changing coz of her but the old memories always over powers this feeling

she remembered how he never ordered her and not only her but did not ordered or behaved rudely with anyone leave her or her employs but his own employs too

she remembered several incidences where he tried keeping his calm instead of busting out how he tried understanding others point of views and problems and taking them in consideration

she remembered how he was keeping his anger and demeanour in check how he was giving respect to others p.o.v. how he was trying hard not to react on certain things like her way of greeting talking being friendly with her male frnds which includes them being close to khushi holding her hands or some times her waist sometimes kissing the back of her palm in chivalry how he was genuinely caring about her and amaira and not only them but he some times help and care about her family the Mallicks and her frnds everyone around him or her how a softer side of his was growing how he was trying to befriend her but at the same time giving her time and space

and also how he have grown to be a part of Mallick family how he would come to home almost daily and will play with amaira and listen to her rants for long will bear punishments from her for any mistake how he would even give her hoarse rides and would even play with her with her dolls and also all her family and doctor doctor type of all girly games and would even enjoy them with her she herself had for the first time seen this much of caring loving patient and soft arnav and also came to see the trust arnav was able to gain from armaan and arjun as they have allowed him to come which never allow to any one and that too he was allowed to come even when they r not present he was also asked to be there once or twice in situations were both not present in home in order to safeguard the precious ladies of Mallick family but still the thought of truth coming out in front of her brothers scared her but she can't deny that she was loving the change in arnav and specially the fact that she was the reason for it

she has even seen the change in ridhima's view and stance towards arnav

she turned her side on bed and saw her daughter sleeping hugging the teddy bear which armaan and arnav both choose for her on the best fun filled day of her life as she said which was a shopping with armaan and arnav and going to different places she liked

just then she heard a voice from her balcony but before she could think of anything she heard her name being called in a whisper and she knew instantly it was arnav she immediately closed her eyes and acted to sleep to see what he does and why he was here

arnav came close to her sat on the side of her head and caressed her hairs and her cheek and only she knew how difficult it was to control the shiver that ran down her spine then she heard him talk to her softly

ar-how are u khushi ? I know it's a stupid question to ask as we met just today and worked together but that is not enough for me khushi I hate the fact that I have to come to a house where there is no khushi no amaira I loved my work a lot in the past but now a days I work for long hours only so that I could be with you for long time and the hardest part is when I have to part away from my princess I know this is all brought on me by myself but I am dying now khushi I just can't handle it any more jaan I love you I am changing myself for you jaan but I promise I won't ever force you to be with me again it is you who would decide at the end that i deserve to be with you and our daughter or not that do deserve those small happiness that I dream of now a day's dreams of seeing my princess come running in my arms and telling me about her day and play with her when I come back from office to see that bright smile of yours intact on your face on seeing me the happiness and satisfaction of coming and sleeping in your arms after the days tiredness happiness of going on outings with you both and sometimes our whole family and seeing the smile on all my loved once faces happiness of seeing our princess grow happiness of being called as dad by her rather than uncle it pinches hard khushi seeing my own daughter my own kid my own princess calling me uncle and being sad of not being able to get the love of her dad being sad about her dad doesn't love her pain of seeing her sad and not able to tell her that her dad loves her a lot that her dad could die to see a little smile on her face i promise khushi I would not change if you came in my life I really want to do something for you I really want to change myself I want to be the person you would love and spend your life with

he stopped and kissed her forehead lovingly and then went to his daughter caressed her head and cheek for long kissed her forehead and cheek and when he was about to go out of the balcony someone held his hand he knew it was not his khushi's touch he turned around to find ridhima and for a minute he thought all was over he remembered his first encounter with ridhima and thought she would think that he was bad and the change he was showing was fake

U know arnav that me and khushi met in the orphanage when mother Maria brought her she was a dead soul and that is literally true she used to work and roam around like a dead body for months she never reacted to anything she would do the work told she would help she would eat only when told to eat and would eat food which had no taste food without salt she won't say a word we took her to doctors got several treatments done but she won't react her gynac told it was bad for the baby we were desperate to get her to react we tried all things possible for months we did it but nothing worked but u know what worked arnav

She looked up and saw arnav's face was drenched in tears a guilty expression on his face an expression of a culprit

Ri-I know arnav that you are struggling that you r paying a lot for one misunderstanding but you have to understand khushi you have to take fears out of her heart and mind

Ridhima smiled at him and suggested him to leave before anyone else find out about his presence

Arnav turned towards ridhima smiled at her

Ri-thats not needed arnav they r our family too and before she could say anything she was engulfed in a bear strong embrace

Ar-thanks for being a little sister to me ridhi anjali di has always been more of a mother to me but I have found a little sister in you I know our relation is not that strong but I hope that it turns out to be strong

He comes out of the hug and wiped the tears from ridhi's face

Ri- thank you so much bhai u don't know what u have given to me I have been orphan for ears crying alone remembering my family being strong showing to the world that m unbreakable and handling alone what ever life has thrown at me till arman came into my life but still sometimes I felt that I still m incomplete somewhere I don't have a mayka[a girls parents house after getting married is called mayka ]

Ar-but now u have he hugged her again and gave a kiss on forehead and left

Ridhima smiled she really felt complete today she felt she to have a mayka she have both her families with her as all girls have she have the love of her mayka and sasural both she turned towards khushi and amaira and prayed to god for their happiness and left the room to be in the loving secure arms of her husband before he realises that she was not on bed at this hour

Khushi was sitting in her cabin and remembering the incident of night a few days before she remembered how arnav was trying sincerely to win her heart and she can't deny that he is doing it so well she has started to forget those bad memories instead she remembers these good times even her fear of relationships is also decreasing

She can't believe because whom she felt the fear in her heart because of him only the fear is ebbing away

She was disturbed by the knock on her door

She saw her secretary coming in

Priya her secretary-mam u have a meeting with the hotel manager of the events venu right know

She went up to arnav seat took out her footwear and climbed on his lap with keeping her hands on his lap and foot on his seat he was finding it so cute and amusing and without taking his permission with authority she sat on his lap and switched off his laptop and then kept it aside then she looked at the employees who have still not left the room

Ami-didn't u people heard me go take a break don't u people want to eat ur lunch

Arnav controlled his laugh and asked them all to leave she then called aman from his landline and asked him to bring lunch from canteen then she sat in place of his laptop on his table in front of him and arnav brought his chair closer and his arms went round his daughter who had her arms crossed in front of her chest and was showing anger

Ami-why have u not eaten anything from morning and now also u were not going to eat ur lunch and were not allowing others to eat also

Ar-they could have eaten after the meeting

He went to his seat sat on his chair and made her sit on his lap facing him she kept her head on his chest her hands around him he too hugged her close made comfortable and called the employees from before to resume his meting who were amused to find ASR working while making that little girl sleep on him they did not missed how his one was holding her protectively and how he will caress her or kiss her hairs if she was disturbed with their work and they for first time saw such a soft corner of their ASR like this the meeting got over and arnav resumed his work on his laptop

After a while amaira woke up arnav smiled and kissed her forehead and made aman bring a glass of milk from canteen for amira she now sat facing his laptop looking at what work he do in it and was drinking her milk too and need not mension arnav's one hand was protectively around his daughter while he was working with the other and was answering his curious daughter in between

That is how khushi found them when she came to his cabin and smiled at them

Khushi could never explain what feelings the scene evoked in her she was too overwhelmed to react anything for a while

The way arnav protectively yet tenderly held their daughter and even after being busy he was continuously answering his princess with calm and was giving her little kisses on her head her hairs was revealing his immense care and love for his baby and she like a very curious baby was continuously asking him some or the other thing

This scene was what she used to dream off years ago and had again started to dream after her fears ebbing away with arnav's efforts and her family she prayed to her DM to make her dreams come true at least this time she would not be able handle them breaking this time

It was arnav who saw khushi standing at door and looking towards her amaira with a dreamy smile

He could clearly make out what was going on her head and he felt happy of it his promise got strengthen with a vigour he would continue his efforts

Arnav took this opportunity for spending some more time with amaira and khushi

Amaira jumped at that and said yes before khushi could say anything and khushi too would not have been able to say no after all the was going too like a dream arnav loving amaira khushi and arnav going home with little amaira after work and amaira held her and arnav's hand while getting down the chair and the way arnav took amaira in his arms talking to her and listening to her non stop blabbers and responding to them and she holding his file and laptop bag like any wife would do it was not like arnav asked her to take his things she did it herself and the look on her face stopped arnav from saying anything and just like a family they went to home

But just as reality hit her that their home is not one they r not a perfect family she felt pain she felt her heart twisting with pain but she ignored

He happily drove towards RM unaware that his happiness was short lived

On way to RM he got a call that one of his meeting which was to be held tomorrow had to be conducted now as the client has to go out of country in emergency and would not return for a long time and the deal was important for the parties to be postponed or cancelled so he went back to AR for the meeting

Amr-angel I m not a fool to not understand that u r not fine there is something that is bothering u and u r not ready to share it with us

Arman and arjun for a while were just silent then looked at each other made their angel stop crying and forgive her and ridhima but how they can't trust arnav now and r not willing to let him take khushi or amaira with him

Ri- I m sorry ammy I m so so sorry I never wanted to hurt you or bhai I just kept silent for khushi and amaira first khushi took promise from me but I kept and eye on him and I felt that he was genuinely trying to change himself for khushi that he really loves khushi and amaira want them back in his life but without forcing or manipulating khushi or anyone and later it seemed like khushi too started loving him again and her fears were reducing because of arnav's efforts and I wanted all the decisions of telling truth to u and bhai and the decision of her again being with arnav or not I wanted to leave all these on her only I m sorry arman

Arman quietened her by keeping his finger on her lips and said sorry to her

Arm-I m sorry jaan m so sorry for behaving so badly with you a while ago I know u love khushi and amaira and u won't do anything that would harm them m sorry baby plz don't cry u know I can't these tears in ur eyes

Ridhima hugged him again and arman carried her to bed put her down and kissed her slowly in a sotthing and calming way

Coming out of the kiss arman kissed her forehead

Everyone came down for breakfast

Arj-ridhima u and khushi should leave for meeting it is not good to be late and they have to leave though reluctantly

Khushi and ridhima while leaving gave worried glances towards arnav and he gave reassuring look to them and through eyes asked them to leave and this was seen by arjun and arman

After they left arnav did not know how to say what he wanted to say but none the less he started

After a while he was sitting in his office chair thinking about the morning incidence he knew it is not easy for arjun and arman to control their anger and not say or do anything to him he knew they r doing this because of khushi and ridhima but they will take time to come in terms with everything and even more time to forgive him or maybe they would never forgive him maybe they would never give permission to khushi to come back in her life

He was thinking all this when he felt a tug on his suit he looked down and saw amaira there

Ridhima and khushi met the person from s designs their deal was quite a good one and people who r not so good at business would not have thought a minute to say yes but they were not anyone they were khushi and ridhima so they asked for time to think and talk about this to the heads of the company that were arman and arjun and thought of doing a background check for the company as they thought it to be suspicious that they were not ready to give information about their company or their head

With this ridhima and khushi left for office and talking to arnav on way to know what happened as they were sure arman or arjun won't tell anything got reassurance from arnav that he will try to do anything that he can to get arman and arjun forgive him but also calmed them as he himself said it is not easy for them to forgive him

Ridhima and khushi discussed about their meeting and suspicion about the hiding business and decided to get background check by themselves before saying yes for the deal

Ama-don't worry dada I have taken permission from mamu and buddy u r coming with us and I wana plan everything too w have so less time now tell me na dada which is the best mall over here i wana shop a lot lot of things u know I have to buy new dresses teddy bears and stuff toys of mickey mouse Minnie mouse goffyy scobby doo tom and jerry and many more and a few more new toys and also new video games I m bored with the new ones and also we will watch new salman khan movie and but she was cut short

Arn-breath princess breath he said while laughing

Ar- I didn't knew u r like ur ma a salman khan fan

Ama-ohh dada m bigger fan then ma and leave it na we also have to decided the restaurant for lunch and dinner and u have to help me in this too

Ar-off course princess u just say which cuisine u want and the booking in the best restaurant will be done

Ama-happily chirped okay and said I want Chinese for lunch not very heavy and pure best Indian for dinner

Ar-ohk princess bookings will be done

And after that amaira went on telling him about her day after her return to home from his office and arnav listened to all what she wanted to say with great interest

This chirping of amaira was heard and seen by arman who was partly happy for her and partly worried about her as he was still unsure of arnav and his changes he did not want his princess to be hurt in any way

Maybe he was thinking too much but it was natural for him cause he have been amaira,s father till date and she has been her buddy's girl just like a father's girl so it was natural for him to think this much of amaira he went away muddled in his thoughts

Next morning at sharp 8 arnav reached mallick mansion

Arnav was taken to dinning room to have breakfirst with every one

All greeted him well even arjun and arman but the unassurity was clearly evident in their demeanour

After a while everyone went to a picnic place a little outer part of city and all enjoyed their precisely ridhz amaira and khushi leaving the men to smile at seeing the happiness of ladies and amaira

After a while all elders were sitting and talking stuffs and arjun and arman were looking a little free with arnav their anger was subsiding a little coz they saw the genuine care and concern in his eyes and actions for amaira khushi and ridz as well the two mallick men were not unaware of the new brother sister relation of arnav and ridz

A few minutes later a tired and sweating amaira returned and just as a smilling arman was about to extend his hand to take her in his arm his smile disappeared as she went in arnav's arms instead of his as usual

This was seen by ridz and she held his hand and smiled and he returned the smile

Little while later they went to the mall for shopping and there too amaira was maximum time with arnav buying things he was selecting for her and selecting things for him which she always did arman buying everything after he said ok for it selecting clothes and everything for him but today she was busy with her father to give him that max time and this was noticed by all but arman just showed them that he was unaffected but he was badly hurt ,but he made his heart understand that it was ok she has got her father after all these years a fathers love but did not he gave her fathers love but shrugged all these thoughts plastering a smile on his face thinking he was not really her father but her uncle ans she is just a small baby who is ecited to spend time with her father for first time

But khushi decided to make amaira understand things but she knew this was not the time or place she have to wait

Later they all watched a movie salman khan movie and went towards there last final destination of outing a restaurant the arrangement was like arjun arnav khushi and amaira in one car and ridhima and arman in other

In car

Ri-arman plz don't be sad she is a kid who met her father got to know him just a few days back

Arman smilled at her but ridz could clearly see who much he was trying to hide the pain

And ridz started crying arman parked the car at road side and hugged her

Ri-i m sorry m so sorry arman

Arm-jaan what happened why u crying baby

Ri- it is my fault it would not have been this painful if I were able to give u a baby our baby

Arm- sweetheart u know it is not like this right wouldn't I have loved amaira then too

Ri-looking at his face still in his arms -yes u would have but then u would have ur own kid to give that importance that kid only give to his or her father

We all know the time everybody came to know that I was having problem in conceiving u were so heart broken and somewhere u started seeing ur kid in amaira

I don't say that u did not love her brfore u had a special bond with her from the time she was in khushi's womb but u were her father always when she needed a father in her life till today and she was their to give u all love and and importance that a kid give to her father but today she got her real father for that but m still not able to give u ur own child I know being orphan who did not have the luxury of having parents how much it pinch when they can't have the happiness of getting their own child i so sorry

Arman hugged her tightly again -don't say that baby it not ur fault plz I know it pains and hurt u equally and why r u losing hope ur treatment is going on na and doctors say na that treatment is going good

And were till it is matter of amaira yes I can't lie to u I m feeling a little hurt but have to settle with it afterall I was her father till the time she did not get to meet her real father and u say na tha I have a special bond with her than may people come and go we will always have that bond right

Ridz smilled nodding yes

Arman now common we r getting late we need to reach the restaurant others would have already reached

Ridz wiped her eras adnarman kissed her forehead and they were about to go when arman s phone rang it was his manager from London who told him of a few problems in deals occurring because of all of their absence and it was important of at least anyone of them to be present to handel the condition and talk with delegates

Arm-damnit stephen u should have called informed me before only u r telling me all this now when the matters have turned worse

s-sorry sir I just did not wanted to disturb u as u were handelling an important deal in India I sorry sir I tried my best to handel it here

arman calmed a bit and said-it's ok Stephen I m coming tomorrow will msg u the arrival details send a car at airport

s-sir actually I knew u would have to come so I saw the details about the planes there is no plane tomorrow and it is important that u reach here asap ,but there is a plane which will take off in 2 and half hours from now and seats r available should I book seat for u

arm-ohk book a seat for me I will take the ticket when i reach airport

s-yes sir

after keeping the call arman told ridz about it

ri-that means we will have to go back home right now u don' t have a lot of time u need to pack and reach airport on time

ar-yes we can't go to restaurant but let me do one thing I drop u fatly and will leave atleast u have ur dinner with family

ridz held his hand

ri-no I won't go to restaurant i m coming with u I help u in packing and will make a quick dinner I won't let u go empty stomach now common drive for home u r wasting time

arman smiled and said a yes madam and drove to home they were on the way only when khushi called ridz to ask where they were and ridz told her that they can't come and arman is going to London as some business problem have arrived which need to be sorted out soon and details she will give later as she have to prepare dinner for arman

khushi told this to everyone and they had their dinner and by the time they reached home arman had alredy left for airport and all became sad that they did not got the chance to eet him and specially khushi how wanted to talk and console her dau after all the hurt he felt

a week was over and arman had not come back he would not even talk a lot with others and would talk mostly with ridz only but it coincidental because he was busy but khushi thought he was still hurt

yes he was but he was not a kis or immature to act like this coz of that reason and when she tried to talk to amaira about her ignoring behaviour towards all and just clinging to arnav and specially her behaviour with arman she would go away but not talk about arman somehow arman got to now it and his hurt and pain increased thinking that his princess s not talking interested to talk about him why what mistake has he done but he ignored the feelings and drowned himself in work

and after three more days it was day of armans arrival everyone was waiting for him

khushi was desperate to talk to her dau ,ridz was super happy as she will be in her husbands arms after a week and half

but amaira was angry super angry and making plans to ignore and throw tantrums on arman

LONG PRECAPE-everyone was at RM the mallicks were invited for dinner in evening and arman was to reach here directly from airport

everyone was watching news and having coffee

but she could hear the news reporter telling about the plane crash somewhere near Mumbai only which wascoming from London to Mumbai the same plane from which arman was to arrive
