~Same Day, Midnight~

Armaan kept on looking at Ridhima for what seemed like eternity and eventually drifted to sleep himself...It was about 4:30 amwhen Armaanhabitually stretched his arm out on the bed. No sooner did he do that than he frowned as he could not feel Ridhima beside him. He opened his heavy eyes with the hope to see his love but panicked when he found the place beside him empty. He immediately got up and went towards the washroom with the thought that Ridhima might be there but his frown only deepened when he saw the door of the restroom open. He searched for her frantically around the room and balcony "Oh God were can she go?? She can barely stand on her own after her miscarriage...I just hope she is fine, she is not even in her senses...Oh God pls, pls keep her save" he thought worried about Ridhima...He searched the whole house but all in vain...frustrated, scared and tensed he closed his eyes sighing deeply. His heart was pounding heart against his chest, his face was covered with sweat beans and his forehead was tightened...just when he was about to lose hope he saw the door of the nursery which the two of them had fondly decorated for their baby open...slowly he walked towards it and the field of vision in front of him made his heart bleed...He saw Ridhima laying on the floor curled up like a ball, holding a doll tightly against her chest sobbing bitterly...His eyes welled up seeing her in such a state...haltingly he walked towards her and sat just beside her head, he heard her mumbling something in between her sobs and bend down to hear what she was trying to say "Pl..pls come..ba..back...I..I am sor..sorry...do...don't leave me..pls"..Armaan's heartached to see her so vulnerable and hurt, he gently placed his hand on her head and she instantly looked up, unable to hold her emotions any longer she immediately got up and hugged Armaantightly...Armaan was a bit startled but the very next second he embraced her...rubbing her back to give her the much needed comfort and himself let pain flow in the form of tears..."I..I killed my baby...my ba.. baby left me...everybody leaves me...I killed him, nobody loves me, everybody goes, you..youwill also go, I know...I..I am very bad..I killed my child" Ridhima kept chanting the same words like a mantra in between her hiccups as she cried like a child in his arms ...Armaan's eyes stung with tears yet he kept solacing her by whispering words of assurance in her ears.."No..no sweetheart you did not do anything, you're not at fault honey, and I am not going anywhere...I love you my princess and I will never leave you...I will always be with you". Her helplessness spawned anger and Ridhima pushed him away from herself with all her might. "LIE.."shescreeched "its all a lie...everybody lies...everybody leaves me..First nani did, then my baby did..andnow..now you will also leave me" she said throwing everything that came in her way then slipping down on the floor defeated, with tears continuously flowing down her cheeks...Armaan's heart was wounded seeing her in a state of utter helplessness...He went towards her and tried hugging her but she shrugged his hands off and got up stumbling a bit in the process. She tried to hold her swaying body and put forward her hand to stop him from helping her "No...no don't come near me..pls..I..I don't need anybody..just like nobody needs me..I..I also..." exhausted and worn out she fainted before completing her sentence. Thankfully he held her before she hit the ground..."Ridhima ...wake up baby" he patted her cheeks to wake her up..but she did not get up, picking her up in his arms he took her to their bedroom. He lay her down on the bed and looked intently at her face, her face was as white as a ghost and dried tear stains could clearly be seen. His heart clenched at the sight and he was more determined to get her out of her shell, get her out of her depression and getting rid of her insecurities...

~Morning ~

Next morning Armaan got up first because of the sun rays that were peeping through their bedroom's curtain. He immediately shut the curtains as he did not want to disturb Ridhima at any cost. He glanced at Ridhima's sleeping figure and thought about the previous night's events. He knew what he had to do, so grabbing his cell phone he walked out of the room, though he did not shut the door completely just in case Ridhima woke up. Once he was in the hall he dialled a number and waited for the other person to receive the call.."Good morning Dr.Sharma, I am sorry to disturb you at this hour but it's very urgent." He then narrated whatever happened the night before...Dr. Sharma heard him and then spoke "Mr. Mallik I understand that you are worried for Ridhima, but like I told you she is badly depressed Mr.Mallik and her anger was just a reaction of all her pent up emotions...In a way her outburst was good at least she said whatever was there in her heart. Also let me tell you that sometimes the depression and anger link can work in opposite directions Think of the common saying regarding depression: *Depression is anger turned inward.* Yet of course the fact that anger too is a stage of depression cannot be ignored..I would advise you to stay with her as much as possible and try and meet a psychiatrist ...she may suggest some antidepressants for her..but for now what she needs the most is your affection which I am sure she will get..". Armaanheard the doctor carefully and thanked him. "I will do anything for you my princess...enough is enough, now you will smile and this time it will be whole heartedly, without any fear and without any insecurities and that is my promise'". With that he walked towards his room to wake his princess up and to show her the rainbow after the storm.

NOTE:- I do not intend to hurt anybody's feelings with my work yet if I have I apologise for the same!!! Pls do give a feedback after reading both good and bad feedback is accepted:)
