The sun rays fell on his face and a sparkling light emerged. It looked as if his face was providing glow to the sun rays, lighting the world, providing the sky a tint of pink color, can a morning be more beautiful? If only;
"Hhhaaawwwmmm..." he yawned.
Loking directly at the screen, "What? Neend se jaagne ke baad sabhi aise hi lallu dikhte hain..OK? Huh!"
Click his fingers twice in the air, magically he turned from a langoor to angoor!!
"What kya soch rahe ho? Yahi na ki yeh kya bakwaas chal rahi hai, pink sky, magic and what not. Uh-ho!!" he rolled his eyes.
"Hello everybody, I am Nonnu, the God of Love!" Nonnu raised the collars of his shirt.
"Ab kya bataun, aajkal meri halat bohot khraab hai! Yeh..yeh..Mr. Upparwaale, I mean God, inhone logon ko couples bana kar toh bhej diya but unhe milane ki, unmein pyaar ka ehsaas jagaane ki responsibility mujhe de di!" whined Nonnu.
"Ab aap log hi suno, I mean padho ki log mujhse kaisi kaisi requests karte hain!" Nonnu made a childish face and turned on the morning radio (magical one, of-course).
"Bhgwaan, mujhe Mukesh ki girl-friend bohot pasand hai, kuch setting kar do na!"
"Bhgwaan, meri life mein Salmaan Khan jaise handsome, dashing ladke ki entry kara do na!"
"Bhgwaan, meri biwi se mera peecha chudao!"
"Bhgwaan agar aapne mere husband ki baat sunni na, toh main aapka peecha kabhi nahi chodungi"
"Arre baap re!" Nonnu, got scared and switched the radio off.
"Well, ab tak toh aap sab ko andaaza ho hi gaya hoga meri halat ka. Chalo ab main baat par aate hain." Nonnu rubbed his hands and sat on a heart shaped sofa seat.
"Relationship Status!! Facebook craze haan! Aak kal logon ki love life kaafi complicated hai, so is their relationship status. Yeh kahaani 5 logon ki! Unka milta, baatein karna, ladna jhgadana and what not. Chalo let me introduce you to these 5...yeh paanch rum rum param pa.." sang Nonnu.
"Arre hata, sawan ki ghta.." sang Nonnu, sweeping away the clouds, to get a better view!
"Karan, beta..arre meri baat toh sun le!, Sunaina bohot hi..." ran a lady, behind her son, Karan who was busy collecting some files.
"Maa , I am late, and I know, Sunaina bohot susheel, sanskaari aurr sundar ladki hai."replied Karan, putting his laptop in his laptop bag.
"Jab pata hai toh mil kyon nahi leta usse? You should meet her once, so that we elders can talk about your marriage!" Karan's mom, pleaded.
"Sorry, Maa , I need to go, I am already late and being the boss, I am not supposed to reach office late. Juniors par mera impression kharaab ho jayega!" Karan pecked his Mom's cheek and left.
"Hey bhgwaan, kya karoor main iss ladke ka! App hi iski life mein koi acchi si ladki ki entry karwa dijiye bas, jisse isse pyaar ho jaye aurr yeh shaadi kar le!" Karan's Mom, folded her hands, up in the air.
Karan sighed in relief as he bucked his seat belt. "Hey bhgwaan, ab aap hi Maa ke zehan se yeh shaadi ki baat nikaliye. I don't want to get married this soon."
"Nahi, mere paas koi factory hai kya, ki idhar ladki manufacture ki aurr udhar, usse ladke ki life mein patak diya! Had hoti hai..toh mille aap boss se, I mean heir to the Grover group of Industries but he also has another company that he started along his best friend, they named it "Bird Song", Mr. Karan Singh Grover, son of Mr. & Mrs. Pratap Singh Grover. Inki Maa chahti hain, ki yeh shaadi kar len, and yeh janaab toh shaadi ke naam se hi door bhagte hain! Uff! Maa-Bete ke beech main phas gaya." sighed Nonnu.
"Next is, Miss Shilpa Rai Singhania, waise toh yeh Princess of Devgarh hain, but she is not that head strong, arrogant and snobbish. She's the owner of, "House of Hope" an orphanage, old age home, women shelter, all in one, together. Waiting for her Mr. Right, she's like the brightest star in dark night! Arre wah, yeh toh rhyme kar gaya, chaliye milte hain Miss Shilpa se.." smiled Nonnu.
"Shilpa beta, jaldi kijiye, nashta tayaar hai." yelled Shilpa's Mom.
There she stood, hands folded, head covered with her dupatta and muttering something, "Kannu Bhaiya (Lord Krishna), hum aapse aakhiri baar keh rahe hain, ab toh humme humaare Mr. Right se milwa dijiye. Aurr kitna wait karenge hum unki?"
"Shilpa beta, jaldi kijiye, Karan must be coming in a minute or two. Come fast." yelled Shilpa's Mom, making Shilpa start cursing.
"Karan..!!!, stupid gadhaa kahin ka! Why..why..why Kannu Bhaiya, why?? Yeh Mr.Khadoos, abhi tak zinda kyon hai? 100 Khadoos mare honge, tab yeh paida hua hoga! Roz mujhe lift dene aa jaata hai, aap isse kab lift karoge?? Meri life ka villain, Khadoos Singh Grover.." cursed Shilpa. As she knew that if she sat down to eat breakfast know, Karan will get irritated, so she intentionally started eating more and more.
"Good Morning!" Karan gritted his teeth.
"Tumse milkar meri Morning good kaise ho sakti hai Khadoos?" smirked Shilpa.
"Agar itni hi pareshaani hai mujhse, toh roz House of Hope jaane ke liye, mujhse hi lift kyon maangti ho?" smirked Karan, raising his brows.
"Whatever! Yeh toh Badi Maa (Karan's Mom) ki wajah se, roz tumhaari shakal dekhkar apna din kharaab karti hoon, warna, Main aurr TUMSE..lift..in your dreams dude!'" Shilpa poked Karan's chest, with her finger.
"Oh really!!" said Karan.
"Yeah really!!" replied Shilpa, hitting Karan's head with her palm.
Karan, who was sitting opposite to her on the dining table glared at her with a sarcastic smile on his face, "Aunty, app khaane mein kya milati ho?"
"Kyon beta? What happened?", asked Sahilpa's Mom.
"Woh kya hai na, that your daughter eats so much that I wonder why hadn't she deflated like a balloon?" asked karan smiling cheekily.
Shilpa's Mom laughed while Shilpa threw a piece of cucumber at his face.
"Insaan hoon, bhook toh lagegi na! I am not a machine like you!" she retorted.
"Insaan ho, toh janwaron ki tarah kyon khaana khati ho?" countered Karan.
And thus started the famous Dog-Cat fight, both of them started hitting and cursing each other. Bhala ho Karan ke phone ka, jo sahi waqt par baj gaya, thus stopping Karan-Shilpa's fight!
Up above the skies, Nonnu cried, "Hayee..kya karun main in dono ka?"
"So there, you met, Karan and Shilpa. Their families are friends with each other except these two. Karan and Shilpa hate each other, reason nothing in particular. Aakhir kya hoga inka?" questioned Nonnu.
"Hush!" muttered Nonnu as he sat on his rocking chair. "That was cool na! Now let's move to our next targets.
"First of all, let me introduce Mr. Arjun Mehra. Duniya ko bohot kuch samjhate phirte hain, par khud shayad kuch baatein samajh nahi paate. His parents died when he was 8, and then was sent to an orphanage. He grew up into a handsome and intelligent man. He's Karan's best friend and co-partner at "Bird Song". Lets see, what's he doing!" Nonnu smiled cryptically.
Though, the weather outside was quite cold due to rain, but inside the house, the temperature was really high. No heaters, no warmers, just an angry Arjun Mehra is enough to raise temperature.
"Haso..khub haso...Yahi toh karte ho aap, sirf haste rehte ho!" snapped Arjun, looking at Lord Ganesha's idol.
"Aap toh bas yun hi haste rehte ho, wahan office mein, aaj pehle baar, pehli baar, main late pohonchunga. Sab aapki wajah se! Arre!! Kya zaroorat thhi aaj baarish karwane ki??" he whined like a child.
"Haan Karan bolo.." he huffed answering his call.
"Pata hai mujhe! Haan lae ho jaunga, baarish bohot hai aurr traffic jam hai, so I guess, I would be coming late."
"Arre le aaunga na file main, tum apna kaam karo aurr report ki chinta mat karo, main time par submit kar doonga.." gritted Arjun.
"You know, kabhi kabhi..mere dil mein, yeh khayaal aata hai, ki jab upparwaale ne banaya thha isse, toh kya socha aurr samjha jo banaya isse!! Uff!" Nonnu sighed dramatically and continued, " Aap logon ne pagal bohot dekhe honge, but iss tarah ke pagal se kabhi nahi mille honge..dekhiye.." Nonnu pointed downwards.
"Dad, main pohonch rahi hoon wahaan, actually yahaan traffic jam hai, mujhe nahi lagta ki main time par airport pohonch jpaungi.." replied Radhika. She was going Mumbai finally, to be with her mother and brother, her best friend, her family and start new phase of her life. Her Dad was already at airport and here, she was struck in the middle of huge traffic.
She hung up the call and heaved a sigh, she wanted to reach Mumbai today only, from the past 5 years she was here, in Delhi and now finally going back with her Dad but this traffic..Uff! Looking here and there, she saw some children skating around, on skates and skate-boards. She thought for a little, then got out of the cab, paid the driver and gave the kids some money in exchange of a skateboard. When Radhika Singh Grover decides something, to the hell with everything.
Radhika hung her bag-pack on her shoulders, stepped on a skate-board and wooohhsshh...passing through streets, nooks and corners, crossing the traffic, jumping above the cars, she skated efficiently and unbelievably amazing. Finally reaching the airport, just in time, Radhika saw her Dad, waiting for her outside the airport. Circling around him twice, Radhika finally stopped in front of her Dad.
"yo-uh.." she whistled, "See Dad! I am here on time!" she smirked raising her brows and picking up the skate-board from the ground.
"You are totally mad Radhika, agar traffic mein phas gayi thi toh kya, hum kal chale jaate, iss tarah, skate-board par..agar tumhe ko kuch ho jaata toh" her Dad, sounded worried.
"Aise kaise kuch ho jaata! Aap jaante hain na, that I can take care of myself! All credit to bro, he taught me some cool moves!" chirped Radhika, taking a fighting position.
"Wait-wait, agar pata na chala ho, toh main bata doon, Radhika and Karan are siblings!!" added Nonnu.
"Aurr rahi baat kal Mumbai jaane ki..noways Dad, ab aurr der nahi, I have been away for five years, I so wanna meet Mom and Bro. I can't delay even a mere second to meet Bro specially. Come-on lets go." said Radhika and walked inside the airport.
"Sahi mainpagal ho tum Radhika! Aurr tumse bada pagal woh, wahan Mumbai mein baitha hai, tera bhai! Yeh toh acha hai, Suhasini (Karan and Radhika's Mom) ne, Karan ko tumharae Mumbai aane ke baare mein kuch nahi bataya, nahi toh woh airport par hi tent laga kar rehne lag jaata!" chuckled Mr. Grover and walked inside the airport, after-all, they have a flight to catch.
"Kya soch rahe ho?? Teri meri love story ka angle, yaad karegi duniya pal pal...right??" sangNonnu.
"But but but..sambhal jao, arre ruk jao, oh sambhal jao, aji ruk jao, kyon ki iss angle mein hai triangle!!" Nonnu danced again, specially pointing downwards.
"Hey" smiled Arjun, handing Sakshi, her favorite baby pink roses.
"Arjun.." said Sakshi.
"Aaj kaise waqt mil gaya tumhe humse milne ka?" asked Sakshi, caressing the roses.
"Bohot mushkil se, main apne busy schedule se time nikaal kar tumse milne aaya hoon aurr tum ho ki..Huh..kaisi girlfriend milli hai mujhe!" Arjun made a face.
"Ab agar boyfriend tumhaare jaisa ho, toh uski khuskismat hai ki meri jaisi girlfriend mile.." replied Sakshi.
"Oh really?.." smirked Arjun, moving forward.
"Oh really!.." replied Sakshi, smiling.
"Ahem ahem.." someone cleared her throat, disturbing Arjun and Sakshi's moment.
"Shilpa tum.." "Shilpa aap.." said Arjun and sakshi respectively.
"Ji haan hum!" Shilpa shook her head, and continued, "Sakshi, agar aap free ho toh andar chale, aapki class shuru hone waali hai, hai na!" smiled Shilpa and both Shilpa and Sakshi started moving inside House of hope, but in between Shilpa stopped, turned around and said, "Arjun, aaj lagta hai aap ko traffic rules todne hi padenge, kyon ki Karan the Khadoos toh office pohonch hi gaya hoga but you, you are late by 2 hours, Mr. Mehra. Record time haan!" Arjun's eyes widened and he literally ran towards his SUV, leaving behind giggling Shilpa and Sakshi.
"Toh mil liye aap, Arjun, Radhika aurr Sakshi se! To make things clear let me tell you, Arjun is karan's co-partner, Radhika is coming home after finishing her studies, and Sakshi works for House of Hope, under Abigail. Arjun, Sakshi ke saath kaafi khush hai, par tab kya hoga, jab Radhika uski life mein tornado ki tarah aayegi aurr sab kuch ulat-plat kar degi? What changes will Radhika bring in Arjun-Sakshi's relationship?" exclaimed Nonnu.
