One week later

Taani's pov

I walk down the hallway with Rey all over my mind. He has been avoiding me from past one week. I would just look at his face for the past one week. I don't think I've ever thought so much of anyone as much as I've been thinking of Rey. I know I shouldn't have said no to him and I didn't mean to say that. But my bad luck it just came out of annoyance. That whole day he was in my mind and later on he was annoying me.

I know I was wrong, the kiss was the best for me. It was a special, really special. I think I should stop thinking of him now.

Don't think of him Taani!!!

I sigh, the more I think of him, more I want to know him. I want to know what he likes and dislikes. I want to know what he feels.

I have visited Rey's house twice this week, his mom was really sweet and very grateful towards me.

I tried talking to him but he would simply pass by me or ignore me as if I never exist.

That hurts!!!

But now enough is enough I will talk to him no matter what he has to listen me.

I haven't seen Rey since I got to school. I look around the classroom for any sigh of Rey.

I frown.

Usually he would roam around the hallway but when he's needed he isn't seen anywhere. Normally he never leave any chance to sit at back of the bench and have fun.

Where is he? He hadn't shown into the class either.

I turn around to face Nil and Aman,

Me: Where's Rey?

Nil: I don't think he'll be coming to the class.

Me: Why?

Aman: We don't know he just didn't feel like coming.

I faced in front and felt a guilt running inside me. It's my fault, it's all my fault.

I put my elbow on the table and rested my head on my hands. Instead of listening to teacher, I lose myself in my thoughts.

School has ended. I didn't saw Rey whole time. I really need to talk to him, but for that I should find him first.

I walked towards my locker. I opened my locker when I reach it and put my bag inside. I turn around and lean my back against the row of lockers. I closed my eyes, the day went really long.

"Taani"

I open my eyes hearing my name only to see my bestfriends standing there with a worried expression on their faces.

Sh: What's wrong Taani you ok?

Ch: Is there something bothering you.

I can see them worried for me. I smiled at them and shook my head.

Me: y do you guys think something is bothering me?

Sh: because we saw you weren't paying attention in the class.

Ch: rather we would saw you were lost in your own thoughts.

T: nothing much just tired of the whole day.

"Me too" they both said in unison.

I can't say about Rey to them atleast not now. I don't know how will they react.

Sh: are you sure you ok?

T: yeah Sharon I fine. And if I ever had any problem I can count on you guys, right?!

"Right." Saying so they hugged me from either side.

Ch: okk so will hang out tonight. It will be girls night out. She said with excitement.

Sh: so night out at my plae, what say?

I agreed to them. friends are only one that will make you feel better. I'm really thankful to god for giving me such a friends.

Girls hangout is craziest and enjoyable.

We walked out of the locker room and met Shivam in the halway.

Shi: hey girls what about a movie tonight at my house?

We looked at each other and didn't know what to say as we already decided girls hangout.

Ch: next time Shivam we already planned girls night out.

I could see disappointment on his face. I felt sad. But he put a smile on his face and said okk.

T: bdw Shivam y don't you get youself girlfriend who would be always there for you. You won't need to look for us. Right girls?

I teased him. He gave a shy smile.

Shi: y don't you become my gf I don't need to look for others. Saying so he winked at me. I hit him playfully on his shoulders.

My phone started ringing with "mom calling"

T: I'll meet you outside wait for me. I said and walked away.

As Taani walked away, Charlie too went away to meet Amar. Sharon and Shivam walked together and talked about rndom stuff until Sharon asked him,

Sh: so you love her right?

Shi: what are you talking about Sharon?

Sh: don't act smart in front of me I know you love Taani.

He laughed fakely.

Shi: Anything Sharon. Didn't you got some better joke to say. She's my bestfriend, I have known her since childhood. I love her as a bestfriend nothing else.

Sh: Shivam!!!! I know you don't need to hide this from me. I have seen the way you stare at her. The look in your eyes says you love her. You can share it with me.

Sharon kept her hands on his shoulder. Shivam took a deep breathe before confessing his love.

Shi: yes I love her. I really love her. But you didn't saw she looks at me just like a bestfriend. She cares for me and she even loves me but just like a bestfriend. I don't know how you got to know but promise me you won't tell anything to Taani. Please promise me.

He took promise from Sharon not to tell anything about it to her or anybody else.

Sh: you will never say her.

He smiled sadly.

Shi: Sharon I know her really well. I will never confess her about my love. I don't want her to feel guilty for rejecting my love. I can never let that happen. I know she can never love me the way I love her. So its better to move on. I just don't deserve her if she doesn't love me. I want her to be happy. If she will be happy with another person I ll be more than happy. But the person she loves hurts her or make her cry I'll surely beat the hell out of him.

Sharon just hugged him.(friendly hug)

Sh: I'm really proud of you. I'm really lucky to have a friend like you.

Shivam gave her his best smile assuring her he's fine.

Shi: okay I think enough of being emotional. We should leave, Taani will search for us.

Sh: ya lets go.

They left from there to wait for Taani but the thing they didn't knew was someone was listening to their conversation.
