CHAPTER 15
[FEW DAYS LATER]
Akash opened Ananya's room's door and the scene which unfolded in front of his eyes took his breath. Ananya was standing near the window and was drying her hair with the towel. A small smile was present on her lips. Akash kept on looking at her in a hypnotised manner. Ananya turned and saw Akash and her eyes were stuck on him. Both of them looked at each other for a long time. There was no exchange of words but it appeared as if they were reading each other's mind. After some time Akash realised what he was doing and the suddenly awkwardness took the place of an unknown beautiful feeling. Akash and Ananya looked away and Akash left the place. After he left, Ananya thought for some time and then called her mom. The convo-
A - Maa!
N - Kya hua beta?
A - Mujhe bohot ajeeb si feeling ho rahi hai.
N - Matlab? Thik se bata.
A - Abhi Akash aaya tha.
N - To kya pheli baar aaya tha?
A - Nahi but...pata nahi...kuch ajeeb tha...aisa laga jaise...jaise kuch hone waala ho.
N - Tu khena kya chahti hai? Saaf saaf bol.
A - Pata nhi maa. Bus...kuch hone waala hai.
N - Tu na paagal ho gyi hai..jaake kuch kha le...bhuk ka asar ho gaya hai tujhpar.
A - Maa but...
N - Ananya...
A - Acha bye
N - Bye.
Ananya cut the call and said to herself, "Kuch na kuch to hone waala hai." She then came out of the room.
Akash was sitting on the dining table with blank face. Ananya asked, "Kya bana rahe ho aaj?" Akash looked at her and smiled. He said, "Tum batao? Kya khaogi?" Ananya said, "Tum dekhlo...jo acha lage." Akash smiled at her in a weird way and said, "Aaj tum banao." Ananya looked at him with wide eyes. Akash understood the reason behind this reaction and said, "Are don't worry.. main sikhaunga."
Ananya was struggling with all the kitchen appliances and masalas while Akash was talking on phone. Ananya said to herself, "Dhokebaaz...mujhe bol kar khud phone mein lag gaya." She was damn confused when Akash came back and said, "Listen Anshi ek ghante mein vaapis aa jayegi...vo kuch bana legi...i need to go." Ananya asked, "Kaha?" Akash replied, "Vo kuch clues hain...unki location ka thora idea mila hai. I need to go on the field and check." Ananya became tensed and asked, "Risky hai na?" Akash nodded a little. Both looked into each other's eyes and then Ananya asked, "Vaapis aa jaoge na?" In reply, Akash lowered his head, took his jacket and went away. Unknowingly a lone tear escaped from Ananya's eyes.
[4 HOURS LATER]
Akash came to his house. He was able to track their location but by the time he reached there with his tam, they changed place. He was extremely tired. He unlocked the house and was surprised to see that all the lights were switched off and it was kind of dark. Slowly he entered and called Ananya and Anshi. He was about to enter their room when he saw that a vase was broken near the door. Now he grew tensed. He called out for Anshi. He found that the room was empty. He tried called them but their phones were switched off. He ran his hands through his hair and was about to call Nikhil when his phone rang.
C - Hi Mr. Salluja...jise dhund rahe ho vo hamare pass hai.
A - Kon bol raha hai?
C - Main to Danish hun.
A - (shocked) Danish?
C - Ji haan Danish...vahi Danish jise aap dhund rahe ho...aur vahi Danish jisne aapki bhen aur girlfriend aur rakha hua hai.
A - Un dono ko pakar kar tumhe kya milega?
C - Tu.
Saying this, he ended the call. Akash was hell confused about the sudden happenings. He immediately went to the headquarters and everybody started locating them.
After a few days, they were able to track Danish and Angad. A team was sent for Anshi and Ananya's rescue. Akash was told to stay away from this as it was quite risky for him. 5 days later, the team came back with Angad and his men. Akash was sitting on the table when he got the news that Anshi was injured and is taken to a hospital. He immediately left everything and ran.
Akash was standing outside the room where Anshi was getting treatment. He was crying. Nikhil came and kept his hand on his shoulder and asked, "Kya kaha doctors ne?" Akash wiped his tears and said, "Kuch nahi. Thik hai vo. Bus behosh hai." Nikhil then asked, "To tu ro kyun raha hai?" Akash slowly turned towards Nikhil and said, "YAAR! ANANYA NAHI MILI." Nikhil hugged Akash tightly.
At night, Akash was sitting and remembering the beautiful time he had spent with Ananya.

He felt as if Ananya was calling him from behind. he turned but didn't find her.

He remembered their atta fight, their hugs and their talks...

Akash came to meet Anshi the next day. He was talking to her when she asked, "Ananya kaisi hai?" Akash sighed and with a lot of courage said, "Nahi mili." Anshi asked restlessly, "Nahi mili ka kya matlab hai? Aise kais nahi mili?" Akash wiped his tears and said, "Bohot dhunda but...nahi mili...she is gone..." He immediately stood up and left. Anshi looked at him for some time and then said to herself, "Achi baat hai nahi mili." She gave an evil smile.
