CHAPTER 14
Akash opened his eyes and slowly went towards Ananya. He slowly leaned to look at Ananya's face and was shocked to see her sleeping. He, very carefully, came out of the room and closed the door. Anshi quickly came and asked, "Bola?" Akash looked at her and said, "Bola but vo so rahi thi usne suna nahi." Anshi slapped her head and said, "Hey bhagwan! To phele check karte hain ya phele bol dete hain?" She looked and said, "Bhagwan ji aapko chantkar mujhe hi aisa bhai dena tha.." Saying this, she left. Akash stood there with blank expressions for some time and then he too left.
Next morning, Akash was sitting in the living room and watching tv. Anshi came and said, well not exactly said, but taunted, "Aap yahan tv dekhte raho wahaan duniya chance maar legi." Akash looked at Anshi and gave a what' look. Anshi came near and said, "Ananya pichle 15 minute se kisi ankur se baat kar rahi hai...vo bhi hans hans ke." Akash said, "To karne de...tera kya jaa raha hai?" Anshi said, "Are pata to karo...kya pata kahin Ananya ko vo pasand aa gaya to?" Akash asked, "Tujhe hospital jaana hai na?" Anshi said, "Bol to aise rahe ho jaise koi farak nahi parta aapko." Akash said, "Haan nahi parta." Anshi gave a whatever' look to Akash and left.
After she left, Akash heard Ananya's laughter and although he behaved very ignorant in front of Anshi, he was getting jealous. Slowly he came towards Ananya's room. He was about to put his ear on the door when Ananya opened it. She was a bit taken aback and Akash started looking her and there. Ananya raised her brows with a questioning look. Akash asked, "Kisse baat kar rahi thi pichle 15 min se?" Ananya asked, "Tum meri jasoosi kar rahe the?" Akash said, "Nahi, main to bus yahan se guzar raha tha." Ananya narrowed her eyes and said, "Tum pichle 15 minute se yahaan se guzar rahe the." Akash couldn't reply so he just looked at Ananya blankly. Ananya smiled and said, "Vaise main Captain Ankur se baat kar rahi thi." She turned to leave but then came back and said, "unki ek girlfriend hai and he is very serious about her so...relax." She smiled at him and left.
Akash was working in the kitchen when Ananya entered. She took an apple and sat on slab while eating it. She asked, "Kuch help karun?" Akash said, "Ek baar help kit hi to sandwich khaane pare. Second time ghar ka aata kharaab ho gaya...tum rehene hi do" He started smiling. Ananya started hitting him and said, "Mana ki bohot achi cook nahi hun but itni bezatti bhi mat karo." Akash took a bowl and said, "Accha baba maan liya... ab chalo." Both went outside to have breakfast.
[SOMEWHERE IN A LONELY PLACE]
"Tumne to kaha tha ki vo ye kaam sahi tareeke se kar dega." A man said in an angry voice.
"Sir i am sorry" Another man said in a trembling voice.
"Sorry ka kya karun main. Un logon ne usse sab kuch niaklwa liya hoga."
"But sir sirf maine nahi sanaya ne bhi galti ki hai."
"Ki to hai...aur is galti ki sazza hum sabko bhugatni paregi"
[DIB HEADQUARTERS]
Akash was giving a presentation about the Vipers and his findings when Ananya came running to him and said, "Akash jaldi se mujhe thank you bolo." Akash looked at her with wide eyes and said, "Ananya do you even realise yahan aur bhi log hain." Ananya looked at everybody else and said, "Ya exactly. Aap sab ko mujhe thank you bolna chahiye." Everybody gave Ananya a confused look. Akash grinned, "Ananya hum kuch important kar rahe hain." Ananya said, "Jo main batane aayi hun vo isse zyaada important hai." Akash and everyone else looked at Ananya with curious expressions. Ananya continued, "Ok! So abhi 6 ghante phele Abdul ne apne bte ke phone par phone kia tha..tabse main uski location pata karne ki koshish kar rahi and..." Akash witha smile asked, "And tumhe uski location mil gayi?" Ananya said, "Umm...nahi" Akash sighed and looked at everybody else with helpless expression. Ananya said, "Are uski location nahi mili but ek aura chi cheez mili hai." Akash asked, "Kya?" Ananya said, "Kal raat un logon ne Ludhiana ke ek jeweller se kuch rings mangwayi hai...actually to be precise Abdul ne apni wife ke liye ye mangwaayi hai." Akash said, "Ludhiana se mangwaayi hai matlab vo wahi kaahi honge." Ananya nodded and asked, "To ab?" Akash smiled and said, "In bichaaro ko inke lover phasa dete hain har baar. Nahi?" Everybody laughed.
Akash informed the Ludhiana police and a team was organized to track Abdul. The police officer, Satish and Akash went to the Jewellers shop and met the owner. He said, "Ji sir kahiye kya dikhaun aapko?" Satish showed him his i card and asked, "Kal raat aapke paas rings ka order den eke lie ek phone aaya tha. Kiska tha?" The owner replied, "are sir vo to Abdul bhai ka tha." Akash asked, "Kaun abdul bhai?" The owner took out his hankerchief and wiped his forehead and replied, "Sir vo yahin ek cyber cafe mein job karte hain. Regular customer hain hamare." Akash and Satish looked at each other. Satish asked, "Address mil sakta hai?" The owner took out his register and said, "Ji sir zaroor...but shareef aadmi hai vo kaafi." Satish and Akash smiled and Akash said, "Hmm bohot shareef hai...address dijiye aap." Both stood up to leave when the owner asked in a trembling voice, "Sir! Unhone kiya kya hai?" Satish looked at Akash and then turned to him and said, "Kuch der baad news channel dekhna. Pata chal jayega ki unhone kya kiya hai."
After coming out, Akash said, "Image to achi hai iski." Satish said, "Haan hai to...par mujhe ek baat samajh mein nahi aayi." Akash asked, "Kya?" Satish replied, "Uska beta hamaare paas hai aur vo api biwi ko gift de raha hai?" Akash smiled and said, "Tumhe kya lagta hai ki vo apne bte ke jaane ka dukh mana raha hoga? In logon ko koi farak nahi parta." Satish nodded and they left.
After a few hours they were successful in catching Abdul and Akash brought him to Delhi. Abdul was sent to a room. Ananya said, "Chalo Abdul bhi pakra gaya. Ab bus Madan aur Angad ka pata lagana hai." Akash said, "Hum unka pata nahi balki vo hamaara pata lagayenge." Ananya asked, "Matlab?" Akash said, "Matlab ye sweetheart ki ab unhe dikhayi de gaya hai ki vo phas rahe han aur is situation mein vo khud hume dhundne lagenege...mujhe to vo vaise hi jaan gaye hain." Ananya was a little scared. She said, "Matlab tumhari jaan ko khatra hai." Akash smiled and understood that she was worried. He said, "Maybe...but tum chinta mat karo. Akash saluja itni asaani se marne waali cheez nahi hai." Saying this, he winked at her and she smiled a little.
