"Chote, Aman's distant relative has passed, so we are travelling to Lucknow", Anjali said with a sad smile on her face, "we can't go to the school trip now."
"Too bad di" Arnav shrugged casually, without taking a glance away from his laptop.
"Yes, but on the brighter side, you get to take them"
He stared straight ahead from his laptop, his expressions looked like someone had cracked a joke and he was expected to laugh out loud.
"You are kidding, right? Of course you are", he began, but then trailed off, because her sister actually had sported a grim expression, "What the di! I have told you I am never taking Ashu out by myself until she is at least ten! I can't handle kids' bathroom rituals!"
"Mamu, Chote is also coming with me...and he is like four & a half now and I am almost five & a half", Appu rolled her eyes on giving the only rational explanation when none existed, "So if you put us together...we are ten years old!"
"But, I don't go to the bathroom without mumma", Nikhil crowed at the prospect of his favorite people accompanying him on the trip.
"Perfect. We will call Khushiji too", Anjali voice glowed instantly, however she pouted on remembering what her friend had told her, "But she mentioned it's difficult for her to get leaves from office"
"Nothing is impossible di. Give me her number. I will sort this out"

In Gupta house, the mobile phone rang. She stared at the unknown number, tension screaming along her nerves.
