All doubt laid to rest! You delivered a remarkable chapter.
Arnav's naivet that things will fall in place now that the divorce is signed, his anger and impatience at not being accepted by her parents & mostly his pain at not being understood by the woman he loves, are written so well that it was easy to take his side.
Then comes Kushi's fragile mental state- her diffidence, her reasons to believe that she didn't give La her one last chance, the conversation she overheard, the strain of her father's illness, the self-doubt & at points loathing make us take her side.
In many ways Kushi seems to want an emotionally virginal Arnav and has a hard time accepting he could have loved someone else however vehemently he denies it.
Breaking up is one thing but dating other people?? Devi Maiyya, that is hitting blow the belt.
Though dusk turned to darkness, you left me unmoving & heart broken in the gazebo .. waiting for them to come back and make up.
On the teaser based speculations:
I for one do not want the mystery writer to be Arnav. Make it someone who slowly becomes interested in Kushi & gets the family pressuring her and brings her added clarity. Added bonus: an insanely jealous & possessive Arnav.

I was just reading up some old chapters, when this particular excerpt popped out at me... Especially the lines below in bold even more so the ones in red...
Disclaimer: Please note, all this is said in zest, not to be taken very seriously, just something to discuss about until we get the update... But look, how the same words can take on a very different meaning under different situations. The time when these very words had been uttered for the first time, they held so much promise & trust & now, they seem to be taking on a whole different meaning... đ"Then, Khushi looked up at him through a sudden film of tears, "And where do we go from here? I'm scared, Arnav"."Trust me, Khushi", he said, tucking an errant strand of hair behind her ear, his eyes deep and somber, "I will never rush you, cajole you to do something you don't want to, or steer our relationship towards a path, you don't want to tread until I'm officially single again. Our divorce won't be finalized until June of next year, but I'll be patient, I promise".Seeing the obvious sincerity in his eyes, Khushi was unable to resist, slipping her arms around his neck and whispering, "I love you, Arnav", the guilty voice within her becoming feebler by the day. It was as if her mind was slowly accepting, rightly or wrongly, that Arnav was hers, only hers, had always been, and that their love was meant to be."So, what I am thinking is that Arnav had promised Khushi to be patient only until his divorce was finalized, the moment he was single again, which he is now, đ he will rush her, (which he has begun in earnest) đ, cajole her, steer their relationship towards a path she doesn't want to... đYou can't fault the man for not delivering on his promise, he waited very patiently until the divorce came through, now all bets are off... đTsk, tsk, Khushi, you should have been paying more attention... đ If she had been paying a little more attention, she wouldn't be complaining of Arnav rushing her now?? đAlso the portion in bold, particularly in red in the second para, explains why Khushi was so hurt with Arnav's revelation... Why she took his words so literally, even when a sane part of her mind was telling her that Arnav will not deliberately lie to her... There has to be some other explanation... đ
Ha ha ha...so right...good point...đ He kept his promise and delivering his promise too ...how can we blame him...đ Smart...
