Guess what? Hihihi yes you are right. Starting a new one. I know I have one already going on but this one will be a short one probably a three-shot or may be four. Below is the prologue (does a three-shot have a prologue??) I don't know so take it as introduction.😉

Prologue

This world says that love has no limits, no boundaries and no confines but yes, they say it has difficulties and complications hidden inside, like any other thing in this world. People believe love to be strongest thing in this world which has the supreme power of overcoming all the obstructions that come in its way.

At one or the other stage whole world falls into love...some love their creator...some their family...some their life partner and some learn to live with love that is one sided but apart from all these ,there are people who are in love with the memories of their loved one.

This is because of the strange truth of this peculiar world that not everyone gets to complete their love story; not everyone gets a chance to spend their whole life in the embrace of their loved one, some are unfortunate who are forced to live with the abbreviation of love, with their incomplete love story-haunting or calming them whenever someone reminds them of their loved one.

Destiny destroys all and snatches the person you love, takes him to a place where you can't reach him nor he could.

A person without love, no doubt has heart in his body pumping blood, all the time to keep him alive, but he forgets the meaning of living, no doubt, he is breathing every second but he forgets to enjoy his every breath instead his every breath, his every thud of heart reminds him of his loved one. His longing for his loved one increases second by second and makes him crave for his love. Every time he feels so he becomes more ravaged inside-more devastated and distraughted.

At that time too, love is the only remedy. A person who is failed in love can only be cured by love. But-

What if he doesn't want to move out of this hell? What if he believes you to be the guilty of all that happened? What if he rejects your love at a point, where you both need it? What if something terrible happens because of his love for his gone loved one or because of your love for him? The only question left, then, will be

"Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya?"

Chapter-1

After bleeding out my heart in my dairy, I closed it and kept it back in my cupboard. I decided to walk to the balcony. My eyes met every mortal thing that came my way - realizing that I might be looking at them for the last time and that's when I saw my photograph with him standing beside me, smiling. I traced my fingers through the picture and our memories gushed in.
Our footprints trailed us as we walked on the wet sand of the beachside. After some walking we sat on some rocks waiting for her. She was again late, I looked at the man beside me his eyes held a calm look. He was so patiently waiting for his love, I smiled at my own thoughts. I dragged my gaze in other direction and saw silhouette of a girl coming towards us, I knew it was her and her excuses rushing towards us.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry, guyz; I know I am late, lekin kya karti inta saara kaam tha. I am soo sorry" she began as soon as she reached us.
She was Roshni... Roshni Singhania, my best friend and more than a sister, my secret dairy-this what I called her. She was the sweetest person I ever knew and was always there for me. I being an orphan found a family in Rosh. Her family lived in US and she was here for her mission of building an orphanage and for gathering its funds, was working in a company.
"Its okay, Rosh. Mera bhi thoda kaam baqi tha iss madam ne phone kar kar ke mera dimaag kharab kar diya phir aana hi pada."Arjun said
"Mai kya karti tera phone lag nahi raha tha issiliye isse bula liya" I said trying to defend myself.
Yes I am Sakshi Anand,then a student of journalism and now working as a crime journalist. And the man standing beside me was Arjun Rawte then a senior inspector and now chief of the narcotics department.
"Ab batayegi bhi, yahan kyun bulaya hai" the silence was broken by Arjun's questioning.
"Tum dono jaante ho ki pandra din (15 days) mai mere vacations khatam hone wale hain aur phir mere exams shuru hojayenge, so I thought ki kyun na uss se pehle tum dono shaadi karlo" I said the last sentence in a single breath and saw their eyes popped out from respective sockets.
After moments of silence both began to smile and I knew my suggestion was approved.
"Toh theek hai kal hum caf me milte hain aur phir hum shopping chal lenge aur ..
"Lekin hum court marriage karenge, you guyz know na, I don't like tham jham" arjun interupetd me to which we both agreed- reculantly.
Buzzing of my mobile phone brought me back. I took a quick glance at the caller id and received it. It was a girl's voice.
"Hello good evening. Is this sakshi anand"
"Yes", I said in reply
"I am from Kotnis Hospital. I just want to confirm your appointment with Dr. Batra for tomorrow morning.
"Thank you" I said disconnecting it.
This is where my fate has led me. I don't know the consequence of this decision but I know that now I cant live with it.may be this decision cant set things right, cant make him love me but I am sure that it will prevent the destruction coming ahead.
I have accepted this harsh reality that I am undoubtedly and unconditionally in love with a person who hates me and regrets my existence. But it was not same a year back. it was totally different we were friends, partners in crime. Back then also I admired him but after knowing about his and roshni's love my feelings had taken a back seat but now when he is infront of me laden with his cruel words but honest eyes ; his hurting actions but unspoken apologies and his ignorant behavior but silent care it has forced my buried love to come to surface once again. No matter how much I try I can't stop loving him. Everytime our eyes meet I am in love with him all over again and again.

I drag myself towards my bedroom and sat on the bed. Resting me head on head rest I closed my eyes preparing myself for another sleepless night. I heard the main door opening and then being bolted again. I knew he was here, I closed my eyes shut presuming I was slept. I heard his footsteps and then again opening of a door-this time of my room. I could feel his gaze on my face. That one incident had changed him but more than that the truth revealed had hurted him and broken him from inside.

Roshni's death tore us apart but her promise still binds us into one.
We waited outside the operation theater till the doc came out. I rushed towards him to know the updates on roshni's health.
"Dekhiye unki haalat bohat nazuk hai. Hum ne sab kuch karke dekh liya hai unke bachne ke chances kam hai." I felt my legs go numb, it was getting difficult for me to balance my body on my two legs. I turned back to look at sakshi but wasn't there-not standing.
Her body was lying lifeless on the cold floor of the hospital. For a moment I was terrified but then something clicked in me I gathered her in my arms and called for a doctor. A nurse came running towards me and asked me to follow her. I followed her into a room and kept sakshi on the bed. I clutched her soft palms tightly in my hard one begging her to come back to life as I needed her- Roshni needed her.
Doctors asked me to move out of the room so that they can start their treatment. I left her hand and walked out of the room. I ran towards the ICU were rosh was. I saw her sleeping amidst the wires of the machines that surrounded her. I walked up to her kissed her forehead, awakening her. She removed her oxygen mask, I tried to stop her but she shushed me.
Ar.. arjun I love you" she said slowly.
That brought tears in my eyes and I kissed her once more.
"Saks.. sakshi" I knew this would come . I can't tell her where she is but I can't even lie to her. She was too good at catching lies.
"She is okay."
She knew about sakshi's disease and may be she had gussed it that time.
"St...stay with her ..she.. she needs you"
"I know but you need me more and she needs you more than me."I replied back
"Ar..ar..arjun m.. my ti.time is..is oo..over ... prom.. promise me"
"Roshni please don't say this, I will save you"I said interrupting her, tears running down my eyes
Tears ran through the sides of her eyes wettening the pillow
"Rosh please don't go"
"pro..promise me"
"I promise' I had said and she left to heavenly abode.
I hugged her tightly crying her name.
She had given her life for her. I glanced at sakshi's face and hurried towards the door and banged it after me. That would have definitely waked her up if she was asleep.
